  1. I could see us being the second seed despite our lackluster defense. I think we can win in a shootout most weeks if it is necessary as long as Allen stays healthy.
  2. I feel the same way when I watch the Chiefs. Not necessarily the pass catchers but the scheme. Every drive Mahomes will have at least a couple passes to wide open receivers down the field that have been schemed open in a clever way. It even happens in the red zone where things are supposed to be compressed and tighter for the offense. The Bills have a schemed wide open WR or TE approximately never.
  3. I guess I just disagree. I didn’t see receivers running wide open all over the place last night, and Purdy made some throws that had a high degree of difficulty (with his WR actually dropping multiple TDs). He probably wouldn’t succeed in the same way Allen does here, because that is almost like backyard football. But maybe he would succeed here in a different way (throwing on time to whatever the correct read for the play is).
  4. Purdy had a great game with some really nice throws against a good Jets defense. I think the “system QB” allegations might have been premature. Wouldn’t surprise me to see the 49ers back in the SB this season.
  5. Who thinks Allen would have thrown it away like Purdy just did? Lol. No way…he’s trying to squeeze it in somewhere.
  6. Purdy is throwing some dimes out there
  7. I can tell this is going to be a shootout.
  8. 90% of people watching will just be doing so hoping to see ARod fall flat on his face. That guy did an expert heel turn
  9. I think it's just as likely the Cleveland offense stinks.
  10. One thing I noticed is that the Cardinals tackles were moving early and were never called, but we had 2 false starts. I kind of understanding allowing some leeway in lining up a little deeper, but they shouldn’t be letting lineman start blocking before the ball is snapped.
  11. On the one hand, it felt like playing not to lose. On the other hand, if we didn’t get the 1st down the game is probably going into OT.
  12. Coleman was awesome, and the best part was it felt very sustainable. Nothing about his performance required extraordinary effort or circumstances. It all seemed comfortably within his abilities.
  13. I have no issue if he produces for the Texans. Good for him. Our offense was still as productive as last year with him out and that is what’s relevant to us. One of his TDs (the crossing route one) was actually a really nice play design. The initial wave of WR cleared out the middle of the field and it was an easy catch and almost walk into the endzone. Hope we steal that.
  14. It used to be that a lot of football fans read the newspaper or listened to sports radio for the news. People calling into the radio shows would draw from this larger group. Now the majority read on the internet or listen to podcasts for audio sports news. What kind of person is still listening to sports radio? It’s a smaller pool of people, and a lot of them not capable of moving to newer mediums.
  15. I don’t think he has the acting chops to pull off a dramatic work like that, but I’d be interested in seeing it.
  16. Who is going to star as Josh Allen in the production of “Allen’s Left Hand”? Daniel Day Lewis?
  17. Wow, Tre White. Feels bad man…
  18. Hope Nacua is okay. Very entertaining player.
  19. The profile view was even cooler, but haven’t seen a picture yet.
  20. What happened to Watson? It’s like he forgot how to throw a football.
  21. Play calling got predictable. We should have incorporated PA or screens. I think Cook actually did okay even later in the game. Sometimes he was getting hit in the backfield and at least getting something positive.
  22. Miami’s o-line is gonna be bad this year, but their weapons are good. If we can make Tua hold the ball at all he should be vulnerable. Their defense isn’t great either. I’m mostly concerned about Allen’s injury.
  23. Is that why it was wrapped up in a cast, and he was cradling it like a wounded baby bird?
  24. Justin Herbert played last year with a broken finger on his non-throwing hand…
  25. Taron Johnson left on the first drive and didn’t return in a close game where they were eating us alive over the middle. Can’t be good…
