  1. That was abysmal, Josh. Fecking joke.
  2. That's on coaching. ALL on coaching.
  3. With a defensive player on his back. If he was alone, I'd agree, but he was pressurised out.
  4. What was he supposed to do there? It was good defense, unfortunately.
  5. Dammit, too slow getting the play going.
  6. I am slightly concerned about Josh. He seems a shadow of himself. And not just today.
  7. In fairness, we went cute against the Pats, McDermott said don't be cute... and we did it again against the Falcons.
  8. Outside of Cook, none of the offense is really coming to play recently. Looks so flat and failing to do the basics.
  9. Can't remember the last game which was tension free and enjoyable!
  10. They've missed a F in that hashtag.
  11. Is Ewers in yet for the Fins?
  12. Deckchairs and Titanic spring to mind.
  13. Out of bitterness, also want the 49ers over the Falcons.
  14. Likewise. Would normally watch the early game, then go into the 1pm (6pm here) kick offs, but still feel flat about anything relating to NFL. Will keep an eye on what's going on, though.
  15. Agree to an extent. But there will be a point where Josh will have to choose between loyalty and a Super Bowl ring if this approach continues.
  16. For all the finger pointing at Beane, he doesn't draft in a silo. McDermott surely has a big say on who he wants too, particularly on defense and where he wants to focus picks when it comes to the roster? Plus wasn't Josh the one who asked for Coleman?
  17. In the last two weeks we would have needed 24 and 25 to win.
  18. Just because the offense was a mess tonight doesn't mean the defense isn't a serious issue. I trust, maybe with a new OC and one key trade (who then doesn't pick up an injury), the offense will sort it out. I think the issue with the defense goes far deeper. It's still a fact the D let the Falcons play down the field and get into scoring range. Which it seems to do all too often. I said during the game the issue with the D is it's too reliant on turnovers. Without them, it has little of note or benefit. In the stupid crazy world of sport this means the Bills will go to Charlotte and win in just under a couple of weeks.
  19. Are you saying this in hindsight?
