  1. I’d argue he looked like 2018 Josh for the first six quarters of the season, then 2019 Josh for the next two. I don’t think we can expect a leap in form from 2018 to 2020 so progression is key. I’ll be happy if 2019 Josh turns up against Washington with a couple of plays which feel like he’s getting back to last year’s heights. Steady improvement through the season as he and Daboll, hopefully, work out new designs and ways to work around new defensive strategies against us.
  2. 35-0 is a closer game? If so, this season will be fun.
  3. The Titans approach was very strange then - Henry is running rings around Seattle yet I don't think he was used on that play?
  4. That was a ridiculous penalty from Seattle. Could be game.
  5. And then burned the clock down running around aimlessly. Can imagine the reaction on here if that was Josh...
  6. He's decent but every play seems to be Henry, Henry, Henry, Henry. Even worse, Seattle seem unable to stop him.
  7. Perhaps I'm being harsh, but the Titans feel so reliant on Henry in terms of offense it's unreal.
  8. I think the big issue is the contract. If 2019 Josh had returned on the original contract it maybe wouldn't be so concerning (though disappointing) as we'd have some room to manouver. Now we've given it to him it's getting to the point where we cannot afford him to regress too far, otherwise we'll be in trouble until the contract runs out. Everyone has issues and bad days, that's just a case of being human. But Josh only reached perhaps his minimum level, after six quarters of play, in the second half of today's game and even then he looked shaky; the quality that was there is missing. I do wonder whether they're perhaps over-coaching Josh to a degree - it's almost as though they're trying to manage his arm which makes sense; too many deep throws have been off target. But it seems to be effecting basic throws; throws which he would have completed without hesitation last year. Add in defenses maybe working out our routes and plays plus a porous O-Line, this all results in a perfect storm. It's something we and he can work through, though.
  9. Josh is going to pick up a serious injury if we're not careful, and Mitch won't be far behind him. Our O-Line is not of a strong enough standard.
  10. Starting to think someone should give him a slap before each series. 😄
  11. The good sign is the miss to Sanders didn't fluster him at all.
  12. Josh had a good set of plays at the end of the second quarter last week, then regressed. Let's hope he keeps that standard up today because that's far more like it. Now, D, start this quarter as you finished the last one.
  13. Our second quarter was better than our third quarter against the Steelers.
  14. The plus is Diggs is clearly close to Josh. He's not going to be tearing into him; he'll be trying to get his head straight.
  15. How many times is "they have a good defense" going to be rolled out? If we want to win the SuperBowl we'll have to overcome much better defenses than this. I love Josh but something is not right with him.
  16. Shall I be the first one to say should we try Mitch? 😄
  17. Hello all. I'm starting to think the crowd noise really gets to Josh. He was superb when there wasn't anything but now it's back he's struggling to adapt.
  18. So just to make it clear, reading this thread, we’re expecting to get deep into the post season with a lead quarterback who: - Constantly fumbles the ball - Cannot read a defense - Cannot execute deep throws ??? All I can say is we certainly defied expectation last year based on the above.
  19. That BS call on 4 & 1 for the Steelers too.
  20. Just the O-Line? You're being polite.
  21. He's not executing plays he should be.
  22. It's me. My soccer team has been hyped to beggary this year as well and is currently messing the bed. I'm cursed.
