  1. Saints - loss Pats - loss Bucs - loss Panthers - win Pats - loss Falcons - win Jets - win 9-8. No idea if that will be enough for a play off spot. And part of me is feeling generous giving us wins against the Panthers and the Falcons at this point.
  2. It feels like we've shot our bolt. If this was a blowout from out of nowhere then it'd be a punch in the gut but recovery would be possible. But actually the defense was the same one which got it's tummy tickled by the Titans and the offense was the same one which got squeezed by the Jaguars. Yes, we're missing people but so are all teams at the moment. We haven't learned from the mistakes of previous games which means, what, we're incapable of doing so? And if that is the case is that because the players do not have the ability, the coaches do not have the capacity to improve the schemes of both? The Saints match up could be another Titans scorefest with the dome, meaning Josh may feel more settled and we'd hold on to more balls but the defense will, in all liklihood, be putrid - especially if Kamara returns. After that... right now I have no faith that anyone at Orchard Park, from the Pegula's downwards, have any idea how to fix the mess we're in and that means we're very reliant on the remaining AFC franchises having problems of their own to get into the post season. The Super Bowl is further away than it has a right to be and we have been exposed for what we are.
  3. One plus point... we can't play any worse than that, can we?
  4. Well... got my answer there.
  5. He's panicking more than anything. The opposition have figured us out and we do not have a plan B so we're easy to play against if you're a mediocre team or better.
  6. How did he come in unprepared? Did he forget Jonathan Taylor existed or something?
  7. What is it about the run? We can't defend it, we struggle to do it on offense. We seem to loathe it as a franchise.
  8. More worryingly... these are the starters.
  9. I wouldn't say the match at the Titans was horrific? The other three, definitely.
  10. As annoyed with him as I am today, Josh really cannot help it when easier passes are being dropped.
  11. Clinging on to the Saints beating the Bucs 38-3 on their home turf last year but I seem to be doing that a lot this season.
  12. Insert 'only' in the final sentence and I'd agree, but he is a problem.
  13. What's to like about him today? (Yes, usually, a lot, but this has been an embarrassing hot mess)
  14. It's time to stop making excuses for one of the highest paid players in football. Yes, O-Line is rancid but Josh isn't any better.
  15. Everything? Anything basic or simple would be nice.
  16. Josh cannot keep saying he plays "s**t" and then not adapt. Switch him for Trubisky and tell Mitch he's playing for the starting spot at the Saints. Allen needs a wake up call.
  17. Right, I'm signing off and hoping for a miraculous comeback.
  18. It's like a car crash. I want to stop following; I think it'd do my health better if I did. And yet...
  19. It's up to McDermott and Daboll to drum this into him. Don't take it all on his back and (somehow) trust the defense, rather than thinking everything is all or nothing.
  20. But he still tries to over-compensate too often rather than giving what the defense offers him. A few yards here and there on the throw is fine; he doesn't have to continually go long or throw into coverage.
  21. There is no one who can come out with that half with any credit. Overpaid and a waste of space. Let's hope they actually give a damn in the second half.
  22. Run, run, run - we know they're going to run but seem incapable of stopping it?
  23. A pick six would be lovely here. Just saying.
