  1. Top six if a team wants to do a Bucs and go on for short term glory as Brady and Rodgers would get chosen early if so.
  2. We can be horribly inconsistent just in single games - in the first half against the Bucs we looked like also fans who would get an early pick in the draft; in the second half we looked like Super Bowl winners. In the first half against the Falcons we were dreadful though improved in the second. I’m not sure if not knowing what we’ll get is annoying or exciting.
  3. From memory, I read that the players and coaches put Josh in the top three of the Pro Bowl - it was the fans who marked Jackson over him. Not sure whether that’s true or not. I know it isn’t popular on here but I sort of know where you’re coming from; sometimes Josh seems too inconsistent and makes a meal of what should be a simple game. But then, he’s had poor games and yet has put the numbers he has? That’s surely a good sign? Your assertions about Herbert, Burrow and the like are just that - opinions. There is no proof that they will be better than Josh in the long term. Yes, Mahomes definitely has more about him but he’s also played with a stronger roster from the off which has helped him no end. What happened when that roster lost players to injuries and fell to the Bills level? Mahomes didn’t look any better than Josh at his worse.
  4. Stevenson is a hideous returner and I don’t get why he gets chance after chance after fumbling more than once and constantly running into blockers. McKenzie is the lesser of two evils though admit we need better options.
  5. Whilst I agree with you, I think you need to add a couple of words to the penultimate sentence - he expects a bit too much from himself. Especially at home, it’s almost like he wants to put a show on for the fans and perhaps prove he’s worth that contract but it results in a hyped up Josh sometimes over-doing it with those efforts.
  6. Thanks. Would have never have guess the rush would be that high and the pass would be that low. Thanks to Colorado Bills too.
  7. Is that just for Week 17 or the whole season? Because, if the latter, seriously???
  8. Ah I didn't realise that. He just completely lost the plot then.
  9. If both are telling the truth, then I presume the Bucs held Brown back because they thought they could dominate the Jets without him and (from Brown's point of view) it'd mean he wouldn't reach the bonus for at least another week. When they called on him he told them where to go.
  10. It's almost as if Josh was fighting against different conditions - he thought the wind was stronger than it was so put extra weight on the ball?
  11. The Chargers would have the upper hand as they're currently seeded seventh to the Raiders eight. So presumably the Chargers would move up to seven and the Raiders eight. But if both go 9-7-1 and the Steelers beat the Ravens wouldn't they come into play?
  12. Yes, because I was being serious…
  13. If Josh passes like he did at Foxboro, no. If he passes like he did yesterday, yes. They’ll punish the turnovers.
  14. Josh is sixth in QBR this season (61.0), ahead of Burrow (53.9). I assume yesterday’s game have been accounted for with this.
  15. Of course not. But more consistency in his play considering the strength of his arm and the clear attributes at his disposal?
  16. I don’t think anyone is denying he was great on the ground yesterday? But his passing was poor and he seemed to deviate from good to bad (and back again) rapidly in that respect.
  17. And yet he had passing issues despite that.
  18. The Fitzpatrick injury curse won’t be good for Josh!
  19. His leg wasn’t causing him too many issues when he was dancing in the locker room post match!
  20. Because there’s something riding on it. The majority of the 1pm games have very little impact on the post season; yes, the Bengals’ seeding needs to be sorted and the Steelers could make the play offs if they win out and the Jags shock the Colts but all in all they’re nothing games. Whereas the late afternoon games either have something riding on them or the conference has something riding on it so are being played in the later slot.
  21. Why? When did we last play well in bad weather?
  22. But I’m guessing the broadcasters know the timetable by now of when the games will be?
  23. If Diggs should have caught it then surely the weight was ok? Yes, he could and possibly should have thrown it softer but it could be the subsequent adjustment threw him off his game and led to his poor passing for the rest of it.
  24. That seems to be the rule of thumb, we look sharp against the decent sides (Pats and Colts at home excepted) and sloppy, particularly post bye, against the average to poor sides.
  25. What will the schedule be for the play offs? Saturday late afternoon, Saturday night, Sunday early afternoon, Sunday late afternoon, Sunday night and Monday night?
