  1. Can certainly see the upside on Elam, Cook, Shakir and Araiza. Bernard and Benford are decent picks for the franchise though reached on both. Appreciate the point he’s putting across, though.
  2. This was posted an hour ago, you started that thread 15 minutes ago?
  3. To be fair, that refers to the Bills rather than being for across the NFL, which is how I read this thread title.
  4. Would love to know his reasoning!
  5. Even at the most positive ahead of the Jets, the Ravens, the Chiefs, possibly the Giants…?
  6. Mr Irrelevant is Brock Purdy, QB from Iowa State, drafted to the 49ers.
  7. When a pick is generally disliked: these are all the reasons we should like this When a pick is generally liked: these are all the reasons we should hate this
  8. NFLN having the same conversation about Baker Mayfield as they did an hour ago.
  9. Yes. I guess it results in the question why. It always happens, where the GMs/coaches/scouts see something different to the media draft 'experts'.
  10. I think for most it's the reach to the third that bothered people, rather than the pick itself. But I think that's been offset by stealing Shakir in the fifth.
  11. Lecitus Smith and Dohnovan West.
  12. It would make sense to train in holding with Haack, at least alongside Ferguson and Bass.
  13. Think I'm at: Love Araiza and Shakir Like Elam and Cook (trading up and losing the fourth for Elam and slightly reaching for Cook takes me away from love. Still should add a lot to the team) OK with Bernard and Benford (Bernard was a reach in the third but balanced out by the Shakir pick; there were perceived better options on the board than Benford but he has a big upside) Disappointed with Tenuta and Spector (picks with a greater upside seemed available) Of course, reality could change all of this!
  14. Benford I had a knee-jerk reaction over but reading the reports I can see why they went with him. Tanuta (other than his size) and Spector I have no idea. A couple of very odd choices to see out our draft; it feels like there were better options available. But, hey, it's low sixth and seventh.
  15. My brain said Cardinals, my fingers typed Falcons. ☹️
  16. Smith has somewhat unsurprisingly been picked, by the (edited) Cardinals.
  17. Fair enough - he never got the chance then. Probably why he went third (that and the belief that he needs to measure his kicks more so they come down on the field of play rather than out of the back at times). Still love this pick.
  18. Any idea why he doesn't hold? I'd ask if it's something which could be coached but if so would it have been done at college?
  19. Typing error - he's pick 180.
  20. I wonder if we can coach long distance accuracy so we can score 75-yard field goals? 😁
  21. That sounds more like it; have to admit reading up and they were saying he'd be a seventh round pick but there's obviously a big upside with him. To get in the sixth round - more than fine.
  22. That's positive to hear. Again, maybe I just became slightly attached to other possibilities. Certainly his character matches the Bllls down to the ground!
  23. Feels like an unnecessary reach considering the players available. Liked the first two picks from today; not so much this one.
