Isn't it like the draft where each team claims then it goes back to the start? Or is it each team gets to claim everyone they want at the same time? Sorry, this is the first time I've followed pre-season this closely!

Kromer would be instrumental in who was cut from the 53 I would imagine, as far as the O-Line goes. Agreed, McDermott and Beane make the final call on draft and trades and I doubt they can please all of the people all of the time.

Chrisman’s only benefit is his age. Question marks have to hang over him considering he’s been bouncing around practice squads (Bengals twice and Steelers once) since he joined the NFL.

Maybe it’s slight delusion but I’m hopeful that a veteran punter, such as Kern or Berry, will need less time to adjust than a rookie.

Thought the latest report was that he should be fit for the Rams. Only thing is if we’re going to put someone else on IR and bring him back. Perhaps he was the one chosen to go through that as he’s not as engrained with the Bills as Hart whilst I think I’m right in saying Sweeney, Lewis and McCloud would all go through waivers, so there was a risk that someone else would pick them up.

So why cut Mancz? That’s the interesting one.

If Stevenson is injured I don’t think we could cut him? Wouldn’t we have had to give him a roster place then move him to IR today to free it up? That’s not to say McBeane love him for so unfathomable reason so wouldn’t have moved him on anyway.

Day after the night before (in the U.K. at least) and still baffled by a handful of the choices. I guess we’ll have to see how the next couple of days pan out with pick up free agents and those on waivers but the cutting of Howard and Mancz bothers me the most, as they’re better than who we have kept - not that that’s saying much in terms of Howard! I’m hopeful than Mancz might be down to roster tinkering so we can put someone on IR, and we’ll sign him back today; or at least get another Centre through the door. Same, if I’m honest, at TE. Dodson’s social media post, if legitimate, may be unprofessional but it appears accurate for now.

We do? Outside of Knox, TE is a weakness on the roster.
