  1. He'll still be allowed to play, even headless.
  2. Holding it against a lot of the starters. I think that's the worse thing; if we lost because of a back up error it'd be more understandable. But... - Josh's poor throw - McKenzie not getting out of bounds - Diggs drop - Davis drop - Bass field goal miss - Milano's drop on a potential pick six And if just Josh's throw had made it to McKenzie, or Bass had made the field goal, or if Milano had made the pixk six, and all other things remained equal we would have one. Just one. That's the most galling thing. Of course it's not down to Josh we lost. But too many simple mistakes were made to win.
  3. Other than Brandt briefly mentioning us being 'gassed', no reference to the fact Tua was facing a reserve secondary for the second week in a row and the O Line checked out in the fourth quarter, creating issues with production. At least they didn't say the Dolphins are complete but very poor otherwise.
  4. Have we really got to the point of reviewing the weather from September 2021? 😅
  5. Rams elected to take a safety against the Falcons last week.
  6. Tua: Thanks, Marilyn Monroe. *Stumbles out of medical room*
  7. Benford's been a real find - hope he's better soon. He could be back for the Chiefs?
  8. Other than the 3 & 22, Tua didn't look overly comfortable out there. It's why I thought he was still concussed.
  9. We're at a point where we can't just pick players because they have special team experience. We're running out of bodies.
  10. In their defence (I feel dirty) an unafilliated doctor is required to check and clear any player who leaves the pitch with beleived concussion. Peter King stated that the doctor saw Tua before he returned to the game.
  11. Orchard Park Medical Centre? Highmark Hospital?
  12. Josh must not win the MVP this year. Those who vote must forget the rest of the game and just remember the underthrow to McKenzie. (Though in all seriousness they just might forget everything but errant throw)
  13. Anyone else close to hysterical laughter? Get well soon, Tommy.
  14. Though we have to MAKE the Play Offs. Too many more injuries and we many struggle to do that.
  15. I do think a lot of mistakes on offense, particularly late on, were down to mental and physical fatigue though. Bass and Milano didn't have as much of an excuse.
  16. Were the offensive players going down with cramp and heat exhaustion last year?
  17. Though I did suggest a reason why last year could be treated differently to this year regarding the heat. As shown by the quarterback not vomiting on the sidelines in 2021, or people cramping up and struggling from it.
  18. Better for all of this to happen now after week three than week thirteen? *Clutching at straws*
  19. Just posted elsewhere about last year's match. Last year we were far more balanced between defense and offense because we weren't shredded on one side of the ball. This year we prolonged the offense's time on the field to protect the defense, but it ended up to the detriment of the offense.
  20. In that sense, I think you're actually agreeing with Royale with Cheese - the weather and heat benefited Miami? Especially when, if you look at last year, we had a fit defense, the offense actually had less time on the field, and the play design was not so focused on prolonging the latter's time on the field to save the former.
  21. I think it's fine as long as it doesn't affect the player's health. When you have the opposing quarterback seemingly throwing up on the sideline and others breaking down from the heat then it should be looked into.
  22. I'm a bit confused what you're saying @Billz4ever. In one way you seem to be suggesting that the weather did play a part because the Dolphins are more acclimatised to it and then in another part say it didn't have an impact?
  23. If the Dolphins fans think they've got a great team then they're in for a rude awakening. They'll enjoy the win but need to play muh better than they did yesterday to finish the season with a winning record. And the first two weeks hardly stand out either - a victory over a poor Patriots team and beating up a shredded secondary in Baltimore. And that's how I'm try to placate myself. They didn't beat us, we beat us. And yet only lost by two despite how many injuries we had at the end of the game.
