  1. I think they've drafted three offensive players in the first round since Rodgers' year - two offensive tackles and another Quarterback.
  2. If he joins the Dolphins or the Pats then so be it. It'd be nice if he went to Washington or one of the other four though!
  3. I don’t necessarily accept this argument - the Saints turned over the Bucs twice in the regular season, including a blowout at Raymond James, yet come the play offs the Bucs easily held the upper hand. The Bills are capable of beating the Chiefs and the Bucs but we’d have to bring our A Game to do so.
  4. Sorry, yes, that’s what I meant - I’d like to get a RB in if possible.
  5. We also need to improve the run game though. At the moment defenses know we’re going to look for passes time and again; we need to be able to switch things up to keep them on their toes.
  6. I think it’s doubly difficult because Josh is so well liked as well, so people end up almost overly defending him. The fact is we’ve seen Super Bowl winning Quarterbacks go backwards for no discernible reason so nothing is set in stone for one year to the next. Josh’s improvements have been sublime over the past year and we can only hope it continues into the next season. I’d argue he’s good enough to win the Super Bowl now but, as with all Quarterbacks, it isn’t just about him.
  7. Can’t help but compare (I know, I’m going to be yelled at) with Josh who came out after the AFCCG and put the blame on himself.
  8. To be fair, on this and this alone, I think she actually has point. I thought it was going to be her running down Josh but maybe the constant comparisons isn’t the healthiest of things to do. (Goes to another thread and starts comparing players)
  9. I’m not sure if this will work in the US but I can’t find a YouTube version of it - link to Sky Sports’ tribute to Chris which aired before the Super Bowl: https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/12212051/around-the-nfl-remembers-chris-wesseling
  10. We need to be able to switch to the run, though. The Bucs ability to swing between the two yesterday kept the Chiefs defense on it's toes - the same cannot be said of our game against them.
  11. And this resulted in me loving the game but finding it infuriating - finally the calls are being made but why now? Why not earlier? Forget our game, what about the helmet to helmet in the Browns match up?
  12. Mahomes is still better than Josh but, as indicated by many experts even after the Championship game the gap isn't nearly as large as some wanted to make out. A few of us, including me, had a slight wobble after that game even though Josh hardly disgraced himself - but yesterday showed what happens to a Quarterback when their OL disappears, and Mahomes didn't look any better than Josh. Indeed, thanks to experience, Josh seems far more comfortable behind a non-existent OL than Mahomes.
  13. His last Pats win, definitely, last night the offense had as much of a role as the defense.
  14. Yeah; I think it was in the script for Mahomes to win last year though. Not so sure about this year.
  15. Be thankful the Chiefs made the Superbowl? We'd be hurting more if Brady was getting the calls against us. The Chiefs seem to have the measure of the Bucs offense now; let's see how the latter changes things.
  16. These flags against the Chiefs are hilarious. But where were they two weeks ago???
  17. Let's be honest, the Bucs have looked to buy the Superbowl this year. Their offense is insane if it clicks - Brady, Gronk, Evans, Goodwin, Miller, Fournette, Brate... so many possibilities there.
  18. The Bucs need a TD from this play, though. The Chiefs will surely regroup and get it together at half time if not before.
  19. I was reading one article yesterday that spelt out that Josh wasn't outclassed by Mahomes. There was differential elsewhere but the Quarterback play was hardly MVP v Rookie.
  20. Through a punch against us - nothing. Look funny at a Bucs player - flag. Not that I'm complaining... much.
  21. And even if he fumbled it's not as if the Chiefs would have gained much on a turnover.
