  1. Becuase Josh caught them offside, forgetting that the officials are not permitted to call against the Steelers.
  2. Defense declining and Offense reverting back to the first half, save the final series of plays. This is not looking good.
  3. That's why I was so happy he threw it away before the TD at the end of the half. Common sense and control. Now abandoned again - why did we go for it there?
  4. Right, how many holding penalties will the O Line get against them?
  5. Easy to do so when they can do whatever they want against us but as soon as we try and tackle we get penalised.
  6. This should be our ball - at times you have to wonder if the officials are inept or corrupt.
  7. I know it sounds stupid but I was almost happier with the incompletion than the TD - he saw he had little available and didn't try to force it.
  8. Josh is far better making up a run play rather than doing so by design.
  9. That was my favourite yet most infuriating Superbowl in quite a while. Hilarious with the constant holding calls against the Chiefs but where was that before?
  10. Agreed, we can't rely on Allen's arm when he's not got his eye in. We need to switch things up.
  11. Yeah, fair dues. Allen is the problem WITH the O-line rather than NOT the O-Line. They should have protected him better but... yeesh.
  12. So protect the ball - him running around with the ball at his side, what's going to happen next?
  13. Rubbish - Allen is the problem; not the O-Line. How the feck can he be on that much money and can't protect the ball???
  14. Or, going off today, how he throws the ball as well. For the most part he's costing us the game at the moment.
  15. Can we play in an empty stadium? Josh looked far better without fans.
  16. But Josh's issues are of his own making, not the Steelers - like that float ball when he should have launched it.
  17. Hello everyone. Don't know where the off season has gone! Come on Josh, settle down...
  18. Then, as controversial as it may be, I’d say withdraw all media commitments. The Euros are starting across Europe in due course yet the managers and players aren’t being consistently pestered about whether they’ve been vaccinated - the questions are sport based. Whether it’s Beane, McDermott, Allen, Beasley - they’re there to try and win a Super Bowl, not br a social conscience. I think vaccinations are important but McDermott is right - lecturing and nagging will get nowhere in convincing those who have understandable doubts about getting it. Nor will asking the same question at every opportunity.
  19. This might be unpopular but my concern is our actions within free agency and the draft have, for this year, resulted in us seemingly standing still. Of course this is a projection and maybe Rousseau and Basham will perform HoFs from the off and give us an edge (pun intended), but it feels like we’re looking into the longer term rather than what happens this year which might bite us in the shorter term. The Browns and The Dolphins had better positions in the draft so should have the upper hand in that regard but the Chiefs? We’ll see what happens but am I as confident of making the Championship game (let alone the Super Bowl) now compared to before the draft? No, not at this moment.
  20. No, I agree, not for that specific reason. Even with Josh being so good now that trade is still looking like a very silly move. I’d give the trade a C. Decent enough but I don’t like that we double dipped from the off and would have preferred JOK over Rousseau at 30 and Gowan over Wildgoose at 213. Have doubts over Doyle but love Basham, Brown, Hamlin and Stevenson. Anderson is a seventh pick so not invested at this stage. Hopefully they will all come good for us though; they have the potential to.
