  1. But it didn't really work did it? It's only thanks to an absolutely idiotic move from Sieler that the offense got a second bite of the cherry in the fourth. Otherwise, three punts in a row and an ailing defense returning to the field to face a buoyant Dolphins offense. It's great if it works. It spluttered last night despite, yes, the Bills scoring over 30 again. The second half for the most part was ugly, against an undermanned Fins defense.
  2. It's odd, watching back without the emotional nervousness of following it live. I blame the offense far more than the defense for last night. All they needed was a score on either the second or third drive of the third quarter. It's not as if they didn't have a chance - especially during the third with the successive drops. The defense did a good job for the most part up to the end of the third/beginning of the fourth and I think it could be argued they were being warn down, because the offense was not giving them a breather. For all the criticism, it's easy to forget that, after the opening and drive with a shortened field thanks to the return, the defensive record was punt (three & out), punt (three & out), touchdown (shortened field due to missed FG), punt (three & out), punt (three & out). Then came the, for want of better word, collapse.
  3. The two back-to-back injuries to the Fins defensive players mid way through the second quarter seemed to throw the Bills offense completely. Or maybe it gave the Fins a moment to reset. Immediately, we had the stymied Cook run folllowed by Josh being sacked and Prater's miss. Even with two more TDs and a FG, I don't think thje offense looked as settled as the opening quarter for the rest of the game.
  4. And I think this is my concern. If the issues yesterday, against a bad team, were not something which continually reared it's head in the play offs, resulting in an earlier than desired exit, then it could be dismissed as a one off or unusual evening. But it's the same thing week in, week out. Too soft, too weak and - don't get me wrong, as they're very important - but too reliant on turnovers rather than being able to get 3 and outs. Especially the management of 3rd and long.
  5. That was superb play on both sides of the ball.
  6. Was going to say, considering what the Fins were getting away with it did feel like a very weak call. He had a very good game otherwise. For the game balls, with three on each side of the ball, and excluding Josh, Cook and Shakir as automatic... Offense: Hawes, Kincaid, Shavers Defense: Bosa, Thompson, Walker
  7. It's almost as though the Fins injuries in the first half knocked the Bills out of sequence. After imposing their will, there were the two poor calls/plays which led to the missed FG, and things didn't look the same after that.
  8. And yet it felt like quite an average performance from him. Just another game. Which says it all, really.
  9. Scored 30+ and the offense looked awful for the most part after the FG miss.
  10. Still a lot of time on the clock. Have to score here.
  11. Huge questions have to be made of the D Line as well. This is too easy for Tua.
  12. Where is the offense of the first half?
  13. I want to see Brady without McDermott. I want to know if this is him or Sean.
  14. For all the criticism of D, they did get two stops to give the O a chance to pull away - and they crapped the bed.
  15. Whatever happens from this point onwards, I have very little confidence in this team. Too many basic errors.
  16. This is worse than the first three quarters against the Ravens. At least they're a good team.
  17. I don't get how that's a hold yet the play on Epenesa in the first wasn't.
  18. Our offensive coordinator or our head coach?
  19. True. Bass has never missed a chip shot.
  20. Up until those final two calls. Not sure what the offensive calling was with them. Hopefully they can get back on track to start the second.
  21. Embarrassing end to the first half on both sides of the ball. Joke it's tied.
  22. Sorry, but no team wins the Superbowl via winning shootouts. All the capital spent on D and it's still lost.
