    It's a bit like how they've inserted VAR into top level soccer. It hasn't improved matters or decreased the amount of controversy.

    Stroud had long enough to throw the ball there. Utterly stupid.

    When you compare Brady to the likes of Josh and Jackson, he looks methodical but not over-worldly. Yet he unarguably - as much as it pains me to say it - was one of the best of all time. Same can be said of Mahomes. He is an intelligent quarterback and that's his strength.

    So we have a poor roughing call, a missed hip drop tackle and a missed offisde. And we've still got over five minutes left of the second quarter.

    Not a single pundit has agreed it was a penalty - that includes Jason Bell and Ndamukong Suh, who are covering the game for Sky in the UK.
