  1. I welcome him back as a backup. My concern is McDermott will start him. We really need to improve our secondary, especially the safety position, to get over the hump.
  2. This has to be one of most defeatist threads I’ve seen. Why are we looking to come up with new problems that don’t even exist. I mean what happens if a world war starts this off season and our best players are drafted? What happens if the war lasts 6 years and Josh’s best years are lost. I’m sure everyone can up with one. There’s always enough real problems to worry about. We don’t need Buffalo fans dreaming up more!
  3. Miami, Phoenix or LA. Although I would be so focused on the game, I probably wouldn’t notice the city it’s in.
  4. I was surprised that Denver & Baltimore never adjusted to our left guard rush-push. Romo kept calling out how we run it over left guard every single time. KC was the first team to actually adjust to that. Unfortunately, we didn’t counter their adjustment. Although, I honestly think we made that last first down.
  5. If Josh & our offense were facing the Buffalo playoff defense, we would’ve scored easily.
  6. S, WR, CB, DE, S (again)
  7. The biggest surprise/disappointment was our d-line vs their o-line with pass rushing. Mahomes had a relaxed view and was able to find wide open receivers on many occasions. Mahomes was also able to run around the right end for first downs with minimal resistance whenever needed. I kept hearing how bad the KC o-line is, but they had very little problem controlling our defense.
  8. If you expected Josh to play the greatest QB NFL playoff game ever (like did in 2 different playoff games 4 years ago), then yeah, he didn’t do it tonight. But honestly, after a first shaky drive, he played a great game. He stood in against pressure and hit some very tough passes. He put the team in position to win. KC out coached Buffalo again. They knew we always went left on sneaks & lined up against it. We should’ve adjusted, but we didn’t. The refs certainly didn’t help us in any way, with one bad spot after another. Our defense gave up the most points of the season for KC. No one would’ve blamed Mahomes for the loss even though he had 2 fumbles (one was nullified by an incorrect Offside call). However, Josh catches blame every time. It’s another tough playoff loss for Buffalo, but it’s ridiculous to try and pin any of the 4 on Josh.
  9. We are so used to assuming our defense will suck in the key times of the biggest games, I just don’t think we realize how bad they are. Here’s another stat a friend shared with me tonight: the Chiefs scored their most points of their 19 games this season. I don’t think any Bills fans are surprised.
  10. Maybe we need to quit focusing on Utah players.
  11. Buffalo will never win a championship until they have a defense that can make stops when it counts. We have been unable to do that against KC for the last 4 playoff games.
  12. Just got back from a wonderful church service this morning. Now I’m ready for an awesome Bills victory tonight! Let’s go Josh Allen! Let’s get after them defense! Let’s go Buffalo 🦬 !!
  13. The media is just helping us keep the chip on our shoulder attitude. Let them keep underrating us. Let us go into the game as the underdog. Then, let’s show them again how wrong they are.
  14. I prefer to focus on Josh’s second TD run. That was amazing to see him run over and through multiple Ravens players including a defensive lineman! That was a reminder that Josh just doesn’t have great speed for a QB, he also has great strength. There’s very few QBs who could’ve made that TD!
  15. I do agree with your comments, especially the last sentence. Ironically, McDermott actually said the opposite with his halftime comments. He said we can’t let up, the game is far from over. However, I agree he coached like he thought they had the game won if we didn’t give it away with TOs. Fortunately, he was correct!
  16. That was shortly after they showed Harbaugh’s halftime comments that Baltimore must stop the run in the second half. Baltimore was selling out to stop the run. We didn’t adjust our second half play calling to counter that.
  17. That’s because these sports show idiots picked the Ravens to win. Now, they can pretend they were correct if Andrews just makes the catch. We all know Josh would’ve have driven us down for the win anyway.
  18. I think we would’ve opened the playbook back up, driven down the field and won the game. We played not to lose way too much with second half play calls. It would’ve been different on the final drive. Like no behind the line, wide out throws to Dawson Knox on 3rd & 5. Josh has led many late scoring drives in big games. He did it twice in one game in Kansas City a few years ago! I think he would’ve done it again!
  19. I agree McDermott made the right decision on 4th down. I do think the spot on Josh’s run was bad. We should’ve had 3rd & 1. Then it would’ve been tush push TD time. I do wonder if the helmet to helmet shot that #44 gave Josh earlier in the game made Brady shy away from the tush push on 3rd & 2. As far as play calling, I found the coaches halftime comments interesting. Harbaugh said Baltimore must stop the run in the second half. They did sell out and they did stop the run in the second half. McDermott said the game is far from over & Buffalo can’t let up. He said we have to control the line of scrimmage. I thought Brady’s second half play calling was very different than the first half. I thought he called it defensively from the first drive on. I don’t know if he recognized that Baltimore WAS selling out to stop the run in the second half, but he didn’t adjust the play calling to reflect that. I do believe Josh would’ve led us to victory on the last drive if Andrews made that catch. I’m also glad my heart didn’t have to go through that! It’s nice to win a game where the opponent gained 100+ more yards than us. I believe that’s pretty rare for Buffalo. Now, let’s slay the dragon & get on to the Super Bowl!
  20. At our house in Tulsa, with kids, their spouses and friends and even a future Bills fan (our first grandchild), due to arrive this summer!
  21. I hope the line stays where it is. I want us to be underdogs heading into the game. We need to play this game with a chip on our shoulder.
  22. Baltimore is 10-0 when Henry runs for 100 yards or more and they are 3-5 when he runs for less than 100 yards. In the last 4 games he’s averaged 158 yards per game and 6.5 yards per carry. I know Lamar is great, but stopping Henry seems to be the key to stopping Baltimore. Whatever defensive scheme we can come up with to limit Henry, short of turning Lamar loose, would be the winning game plan. What that scheme is?….. I have no idea!
  23. I think it was “sorry we missed that call, but you have to tone down the yelling or I will have to flag you “. I think Josh was being classy after the game and only sharing the last part. That would square up with Josh’s history of always taking the blame for a loss & never taking the credit for a victory! Josh does the opposite of a lot of athletes, especially the “look at me” athletes! He’s a great role model that I wish others would follow!
