Bills rank 9th in poll of top front offices in the NFL (article)
GASabresIUFan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Were these the same insiders who called Josh overrated? The Ravens ranked No. 1? LOL, about as valid as Lamar as MVP. Most wins the last 5 years (2019-2023) RS 1. Chiefs - 63 2. Bills - 58 3. GB & Balt - 56 5. SF - 54 6 Dal - 50 Looks to me like a much more accurate survey. -
Both went to Northwestern St.
-
I was thinking Terrence McGee. Does Al Edwards count as a good player?
-
Northwestern St (Louisana) - Good player!
-
So where we exactly? St Mary's ? Tech? UB? Canada?
-
Sure! How about Boston College
-
Really? Jamie Mueller. I thought he was a really good FB. I'm surprised his career didn't last longer. NFL does stand for "Not For Long" for a reason I guess.

Now name a new school.
-
Actually you are supposed to name a player from the post prior. Not a player and his school. We need a player from the Citadel.
-
Jamie Nails! Great name for a O-Lineman. Jackson St. ---> One of my favorite Bills is from this school. Sat next to him on a plane once. Biggest human I think I've ever met.
-
Family friend, I had to get him on this thread.

Bobby Trees didn't go to Occidental.

Bob Chandler Occidental

Don't we play on Sunday night? Former 1st rd pick Derrick Borroughs comes to mind. Indiana University

Week 4 - Bills at Ravens Game Week Thread
GASabresIUFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lets face it, whether we win or lose this game it will be all about Lamar. If we lose the headline will be "Lamar gives MVP performance as Ravens hand Bills first loss." If we win the headline will be "Bills get win despite heroic effort from reigning MVP Lamar Jackson." -
Matthew Sluka - UNLV QB leaves team after NIL Dispute
GASabresIUFan replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in College Football
Turns out the kid's agent isn't a licensed agent in Nevada or registered with the state. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/matthew-slukas-nil-fallout-with-unlv-raises-questions-about-agents-unregistered-status-in-nevada/ It gets even weirder. Apparently Blueprint Sports, which runs the NIL collective for UNLV and U of Nevada was founded by the current Secretary of State for the state of Nevada. -
A Few Thoughts about the Jaguars Game, in no particular order
GASabresIUFan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
What no love for the D-Line? Seriously? Even Casey Toohill had a sack. They are the key to this defense. Don't want to expose the young LBs, better successfully pressure the QB. Don't want QB scrambles, the D-line had better containing them. Stop the run game, the D-line better fill the gaps. All this has been happening. The Bills have allowed 1 rushing TD so far. Von and Groot have 3 sacks each and 5 guys have 1 each. Groot has 11 tackles. -
I always thought the line was designed (in theory) to get people to bet evenly between the two teams. Baltimore is at home with the 2 time MVP and the media had them as a pre-season SB contender. Had the been 2-1 heading into the game, Balt would likely be a 5 point favorite. I think if you ask a line maker in private who do you think will win, he/she would say Buffalo by at least a TD.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
GASabresIUFan replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
First things first. Nick Wright is still an idiot. Anyone who publishes ever that Trevor Lawrence is better than Josh Allen (which he did a year ago) has zero credibility left. It's on the same level of stupid as Colin Cowherd who called Josh a system QB despite having 3 OCs in his career while saying Burrow and Mahomes aren't system QBs when they have played under the same coaches their entire careers. Now watching all these same idiots jumping on the bandwagon is equally annoying. Beane has done a masterful job turning over the roster to get younger and cheaper, getting out of cap hell (which he created) while actually increasing the team's talent even if that talent is a little raw. The biggest change is Beane was realizing that he couldn't keep putting band-aids on his roster holes. He also starting drafting offensive weapons early in the draft. Not surprisingly, the offense is now centered around those draftee. Way to go Beane, not Josh go keep it going. -

JA - Week 3’s AFC Offensive Player of the Week

I guess we need a defensive standout next week go 4 for 4. How about Ed Oliver with 2 sacks and 3 other tackles for losses?
