I do agree that Hamlin isn’t the same player he was before he was injured. Also last I looked Hyde and Poyer were cast offs from their prior teams and developed into pro-bowlers under McD.

Well Mr. Weaver, the Bills put another 30 spot on your defense. The Bills scored on their last 6 drives and would have gone 7/8 in the game had Coleman caught the ball on the 3. Thank you for worrying about how Josh holds his balls rather than how your D could stop the Bills.

One thing I did like was that Brady had Samuel on the perimeter running deep routes. What I’d like to see from the film was whether or not Samuel was getting open on those routes and if he was did Josh not see him or did Josh not have time to try the deep throws.

Those two holding calls and the Rapp “foul” on Mosert were awful calls. Even the announcers couldn’t figure out why those were penalties.

It may not seem that way, but this was a very important win for the Bills. 1) It goes a long way toward the Bills sowing up the AFC East again. No guarantees, but a 4+ game lead in the division at mid-season is a pretty strong lead. 2) It basically finished the Dolphins for 2024. So sad too bad. 3) It gave the Bills some playoff breathing room as the schedule gets harder coming up. Over the next 5 games the Bills travel to Indy (4-4), host KC (7-0) and SF (4-4) before traveling to LAR (3-4) and Det (6-1). 5) It illustrated that the Bills can win close games and and can win without their "A" game. 6) It also illustrated that the Bills have things to work on and can get even better. Our rushing defense still needs significant work. We are also razor thin in the D backfield. 7) Despite missing the extra point, Bass' kick should give Bass more confidence and the Bills & the fans more confidence in him. That kick would have been good from 70.

Georgia and Indiana keep winning but keep doing it differently. Georgia keeps playing up or down to their opponents. Beck continues to look like he is ready his pre-season hype articles and then buckles down in the 2nd half. 3 Ints against a good team would have cost Georgia the game. The Rourke shook off missing a game and IU boat raced MSU after the 1st qtr 47-0 finishing with a resounding 47-0 victory that featured 7 sacks, a few INTs, 2 blocked kicks, a safety and 4 TD passes from Rourke. The Bills are 5-0 in their last 5 against the Fish averaging 33 points per game. The Bills are also 14-2 since 2017 against them with the 2 losses by total of 6 points. If I were Mr. Weaver, I'd be more worried about his defense's ability to stop any part of the Bills offense rather than how Josh holds his balls.

True, but Josh's QB DNA includes and has always included throwing into tight coverage. Drafting Coleman was Beane's response to Josh's natural propensity.

Show us the other QBs and how they stack up for the season. What is Mahomes' % for the season, Jackson etc... One game is meaningless as the gameplan changes week to week.

I don't think we can call Coleman, Shakir and Cooper a talentless group of receivers.

For the above stats to be relevant, show us how Josh compares to other QBs. I think you'll find similar numbers.

This season Josh is completing 64.1% of his passes. Career is 63.6% This season his yards per attempt 7.9 (tying a career high). Career 7.3. Yards per catch is 12.3 (tying a career high). Career 11.5 TD per attempt 6.3%. Career ave 5.4% Interception rate .4%. Career 2.3% Adjusted Yards per attempt 8.97 (career high). Career ave 7.28 Someone is getting open.

Can the Jags trade us Josh Allen already (or the DL formerly known as Josh Allen)?

Yes we do still need a WR who can take the cover off the defense, but we have needed for ages a WR who can win 50/50 balls. Coleman looks to be that player. As I've written before, if Samuel can comeback healthy, I'd love to see the Bills use his speed to go for a deep ball or two. Yes, I know that's not how he has been used in the past, but that is really the only role available on the Bills after the Cooper acquisition. The Bills now have two good boundary receivers in Cooper and Coleman. Cooper the vet who gets separation and Coleman the rookie who makes the tough catches. We have the best slot receiver in football in Shakir (is that even debatable anymore?). We also have 3 backs who are good at catching the ball out of the backfield and a pass catching TE capable of playing any role asked of him and even he has a capable backup with blocks the run well. So what role in the offense is left to Samuel? Gadget plays and deep throws.

A couple of facts. Didn’t the Bills just set the record for most games played with either a win or loss by one score or less? As to playing depth players, the Bills rotate to varying degrees 3 RBs, 5WRs, 3TEs, and 9 DL. They also have played more LBs and DBs this season than ever but admittedly this stems from injuries to starters. Only depth OL don’t play much except Anderson who plays regularly. As to the close games, I think you’ll find that many were against similar high end teams. I’d also like to see the home vs road splits. Where I do think the Bills need to change, especially when (if?) the LBs get healthy, is to play a 3rd LB against tough running teams like Baltimore. Our D scheme is a terrible matchup against them.
