  1. He had wrist surgery and was placed on IR following the 2nd Miami game. He has to miss 4 games before he returns if he physically can return.
  2. I think you mean Jordan Phillips. Getting a healthy and productive Kincaid back would be nice.
  3. I love all the comments about the lack of talent on the Bills roster. I know these geniuses get paid for having an opinion, but do any of them actually do any research to support their utterings? The obvious place to start was with all the first years starters from last season in Benford, Benard, Torrence, Kincaid, Cook and Shakir. All those guys played great last season and got better as the year progressed. It seems to me it was more likely they'd build on last season, especially as the team last season went 7-2 down the stretch anchored by Josh and the kids. The team also returned 17/18 starters depending on how one views Von Miller. Since Brady became the Bills OC, the Bills are 17-4.
  4. More genius from Rich Eisen and his buddies. They all had Fish, Jets, Bills and then Pats.
  5. Another great set of predictions. The host “Trev” for PFF had the Bills at 8-9. Both geniuses had the Jets with their broken down QB as the division winner at 12 & 11 wins respectively.
  6. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-2024-nfl-record-prediction-afc-east-tumble How is that prediction working out Mr. Moton?
  7. The game was over when Cook took it 65 yards for the TD. and now? KC still the 1 (for now) Bills 2 vs Broncos 7 Steelers 3 vs Ravens 6 Texans 4 vs LAC 5 No Jets, No Colts,
  8. Get and stay healthy, especially Josh is the most important thing.
  9. Please post your source. Also lets compare usage and patterns. Ladd's average AIR per reception is 14.7 yards. Shakir's is 4.2. This means that Shakir is working much closer to the line of scrimmage and Ladd is running deeper patterns more similar to Chase (13.1 yards of AIR per reception) than Shakir. By the way, no key receiver in the NFL works closer to the line than Shakir. Of the receivers with 40 or more catches, the only players close to Shakir are Wan'Dale Robinson (6.4), Chris Godwin (7.1) and Damario Douglas (8.6). https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-wr.php Honestly, it's a better comparison to look at where they catch the ball vs where they start the play.
  10. Coleman's size and ability to play outside was certainly a factor in drafting him, however Beane's other moves at WR diminishes that argument. Don't forget his big FA signings were the 5'11 Curtis Samuel who plays the slot, 6'4" Mack Hollins who plays outside and then traded for 6'1 Amari Cooper to also play outside. Had he drafted McConkey, who can play both inside and outside, he may not have needed to sign Samuel and could have used that money elsewhere and still traded for Cooper. Watching Ladd for the LAC, he is being utilized exactly as he was at UGA. He plays inside and outside, and unlike many Bills receivers, he always finds a way to get separation or find a crease in the defense.
  11. LOL, talk about a statement with zero evidence to support it. How on G-d's green Earth can we possibly know what this kid's ceiling is? What is Shakir's ceiling? The 150 yards he had as a rookie? McConkey literally can do anything he's asked to do. He can play inside or outside. He's fast. He runs excellent routes. He has excellent hands. He can make tacklers miss or outrun them. He is also a good blocker. The only thing holding him back at all is injuries, which he's successfully playing through. The Bills should be so lucky to have a player with his skillset. I understand why the Bills drafted Coleman and don't mind the pick, but McConkey was the better player in college and is the better player in the NFL. Here are some Ladd highlights from last season at UGA.
  12. I’m glad he’s back, but don’t expect to many snaps. He’s got nearly two seasons of rust to shake off.
  13. Especially in the 8th OT
  14. Could have been, what’s her name?
  15. I’ve sat in that stadium with 6 inches of snow in my lap.
  16. Will they pay for my flight from Atlanta? Just froze my butt off at the crazy GA/GA Tech game. Why not freeze again in Buffalo.
  17. Considering the ratings Bills/KC got, no way CBS was giving up this game unless the NFL gave them a huge prize next season, especially with two other crappy games on their schedule at the 1pm time slot.
  18. The Bills have scored 30+ each of the last 5 games and all 5 home games this season. I don't see any reason the 49ers end either trend unless the Bills beat themselves which I highly doubt. They have also scored exactly 30 points the last 3 games. Overall the bills are 8-0 when they score 30+ this season. They have also kept 4 teams to exactly 10 points in 4 of the 8 wins (Fish, Jags, Titans, and Seahawks). 31 - 17 assuming Purdy plays.
  19. it would be nice if the DL and Linebackers tackles the guys before they get to the 3rd level of the defense.
  20. The problem is that he has a Rapp sheet 100 yards long.
  21. Not exactly sure, I've seen many articles mention them, but I've had a hard time finding them. I tend to look at the AIR stats. The larger the AIR stat, the more likely the players plays outside vs the slot. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-wr.php
  22. He is a great receiver, but not a pure slot player. However his YAC is only 246 yards. Shakir's YAC is 2nd to Chase with 460. YAC per reception: Shakir 8.2 vs St Brown 3.5. St. Brown ave reception is 10.5 vs Shakir at 10.7. He also has only 1 more 20+ yard play (8 vs 7) this season. Shakir also leads in catch% 85% vs 83.5%. We can throw in Reed as well. Reed YAC 307, YAC/R 7.5, reception % 79%. Reed's average yards per catch is excellent at 16.3 yards, but he runs deeper patterns than Shakir and also plays more outside as does St Brown.
  23. He is the best slot receiver in football. Maybe the pro-bowl only looks at yards and TDs, but a guy who is the best at his position should be in the pro-bowl and on the all-pro teams. Taron Johnson made the All-pro 2nd team last year and is the best slot corner in the NFL. Maybe it's time slot receivers get the same respect.
  24. All your guys are outside receivers. Shakir is 2nd in the NFL in YAC and Leads the NFL in YAC per reception for receivers with over 40 catches. He also leads NFL receivers in catch %. He is arguably the best slot receiver in football. AMcConkey has more receptions and yards than Thomas among AFC rookies. Sutton has outperformed Wilson and both have barely better number than Nico Collins who has played 4 less games.
