  1. By the way folks, the Bills are 15-1 this season when they score 23 or more. The one loss was the crazy LAR game.
  2. And they still scored 27 points and won the game. In fact, against two of the best D in the NFL they’ve averaged 29 points in the playoffs. With a little better play calling against Baltimore they have scored 31. First team in NFL history to score 30 tds running and passing. I don’t really see the KC game being very different than the first 2 playoffs games. I think the biggest difference we’ll see against KC part 2 this season, is an even better rushing attack from the Bills.
  3. It’s not a conservative offense. It’s a power ball control offense with quick strike ability and it should scare the crap out of anyone we play. We can beat you by driving the running game down a team’s throat, but if they load the box we can throw it down the field. The hard part for opponents is that they know the Bills will score 28-30 points regardless of the quality of the defense. Therefore the question is can the opponent’s offense keep up.
  4. Some of the issue(s) with Kincaid is the Bills running game. The increased use of Knox, Gilliam and Anderson to create a more physical running game, has almost certainly cut into his snap count. The relative health of Knox and Kincaid also factored in as did more dropped balls by Kincaid. We as fans also have to get our minds around the fact that the Bills are now a run first team. The strength of this team is the RB room, depth on the OL coupled with Knox and Gilliam. Kincaid is a slot WR/TE who just isn’t as reliable as Shakir and isn’t as physical as Knox. However, don’t read this as an indictment on Kincaid. I really like him and think he has a very bright future in Buffalo. I believe that Brady and Josh want more results from the vertical passing game, but the talent there isn’t fully developed (Kincaid and Coleman). Therefore to play winning football we are out muscling defenses on the line and taking shots when they present themselves. So far so good. Besides Shakir, I also think our best pass catchers are Cook, Davis and Johnson. The added advantage of the running game is the ball control offense that keeps our gash-able defense on the sideline.
  5. Beane and McD (w TP) need to sit down with Brady, give him the $ he wants to re-sign a 2-3 year extension and maintain stability for Josh. The Bills Super Bowl window is now with all the young talent on rookie deals. The last thing Josh needs is a 4th OC. Brady is very young and this will also afford him the perfect time to wait until he finds the ideal HC opportunity with a real QB in place for him to coach. How much more will his HC contract be if he wins a Super Bowl?
  6. Let’s relax and let the games happen. The Bills were out gained but won TOP, turnover battle and the game. KC was also out gained and lost the TOP, and still won. I’ve never seen so many so down about a good win. It wasn’t perfect, but we still beat arguably the most talented team in the league. Who cares what Steven A and others like him say.
  7. Has he? What would his stat line be without Henry? In a key playoff game he committed two turnovers. That doesn’t spell MVP to me.
  8. This was always going to be the worst matchup. Henry is a monster and Lamar a top (but not MVP) QB. We matchup much better against KC, Philly and Wash. All these teams have balance, but can be made one dimensional. The key is to getting off the 3rd down. We really didn’t do that against the Ravens. We also didn’t have our greatest game offensively, but still managed to win. The defense is good enough, just needs to make more plays on 3rd down.
  9. With 3 TOs, 1:30 and getting the ball on the 30, you only need 40-50 yards to get a legit chance. Bills likely get it. Ravens almost certainly sit back on the first few plays and give up 20-25 yards to try to get us to burn TOs in the middle of the field. After that Josh and Shakir and the RBs continue to work and set up the FG to win with 10-15 seconds left.
  10. If the Ravens have 3 guys that blew the game for them they were Jackson, Andrews and Harbaugh. I disagree with almost the whole sequence by the goal line. You needed to score a TD and go win the game. There was way too much time with our gash-able defense to not go up two scores. The FG and game worked out, but not with a ton of luck. I would like to see a significantly larger playbook by the goal line. Why not load up the box and when let Josh bootleg for example if you don’t want to do two straight tush pushes? I understand the FG decision to go up eight, but screwed up to force that decision.
  11. Where was Buffalo Joe on your list?
  12. First step toward rematch of 1991 Super Bowl but with a better result.

  14. I think the answer is 3 12 = 6 letters twelve 6 = 3 letters six 10 = 3 letters ten
  15. No there aren't. If there were every team would have a couple and they don't. They don't even have one in most cases.
  16. Don't do it Gunner. You are arguing with a guy that thinks two players with 71 starts in their 6 year careers aren't starters and that someone who is 4th in his draft class in rushing yards and 4th receiving yards by RB is a JAG. PS Knox is 3rd in the same class of TE in receiving yards.
  17. You don't need to believe the grading just use your eyes. 2018 - (8 picks) - 1 All-time great QB, 4 NFL starters and 2 productive backups/st players. 7/8 in the NFL this season. 2019 - (8 picks) - 3 NFL starters and 1 productive backup 2020 - (7 picks) - All currently in the NFL, including 3 starters, 1 rotational RB, 1 good backup 2021 - (8 picks) - 3 NFL Starters (including 2 very underrated stars in Groot and Brown), 2022 - (8 picks) - 4 excellent NFL starters, 1 starting punters, 1 backup player. All 8 players in the NFL this season or PS. 2023 - (6 picks) - 2 NFL starters and 1 key backup. The 3 other draftees all in the NFL. 2024 - (10 picks) - 8 of the 10 made the Bills as rookies, all of the 8 contributed in some capacity with Coleman starting, Davis, Bishop and Solomon carving significant roles as the season progressed.
  18. This is definitely a "No-name" roster beside Josh and maybe Cook. Taron Johnson and Dawkins get some love here and there but that's about it. Just looking at some Spencer Brown stats. Only 1 sack and only 3 hits allowed all season. Those are insanely low numbers for a NFL tackle. Dawkins numbers are 3 sacks and 4 hits. Also insanely low numbers for a tackle.
  19. I had forgotten the Staley Swindle. Fits right in with John W Brown destroying the Braves and Hull's foot in the crease.
  20. Benford. He is a top 5 corners in the NFL, but no in the media outside of Western NY even mentions him with Mr. I wasn't holding Surtain, Gardner or Winfield Jr etc... Pff grade for Benford is 82.6 which was 5th of 223 CBs in 2024. After Benford it's Spenser Brown. Like Benford he is almost certainly in the top 5 players at his position and gets little to no love nationally.
  21. 1) He does know a fair amount Todd Monken's offense 2) He is better suited to simulate how Lamar play vs White or Trubisky 3) Getting a player on the 53 man roster hurt because their playing scout team QB is not a wise decision.
  22. What a smart signing. He has experience in the Ravens offense as a spot starter and is a very good athlete. He should be a very good Lamar proxy in practice. https://www.niagara-gazette.com/sports/bills-sign-former-ravens-qb-anthony-brown-to-simulate-lamar-jackson-in-practice/article_bca5d074-d398-11ef-a04f-9750bd2c0e6a.html
  23. This is the one game in our playoff journey that scares the hell out of me. We don't defend the run well. We are vulnerable to the mid range passing game. We don't put to much pressure on the QB in the pocket. That makes Balt with Henry a huge matchup issue for our defense as we saw early in the season. They also have a great OC in Todd Monken, you guided UGA to two national championships. But we know Balt can be beaten. Their 5 losses include Cleve and the Raiders. The only common denominator in all 5 games was that Henry was kept under 85 yards. If we can somehow contain Henry our defense will give us a chance to win. Babich and McD should also have learned a great deal from the first game. From an offense standpoint. I'm not worried about us scoring. Brady should have learned a great deal from the first game. We will need to score TDs not FGs and I think we can score 28+ we will win. Controlling time of possession with a strong ball control offense (not necessarily rushing the ball) will go along way to helping our defense. The good news is that we are undefeated at home this season and I don't think that changes this week. Bills 31 Ravens 24
