  1. Ignore him, he can't handle his Labatt's. What's up Dave??????
  2. That's right.....but regardless, I agree with you that I think it would be a decent move for right now
  3. Well, Wade Phillips for one...who I think got a raw deal here (winning record and playoffs).....Ted Cottrell is also on the verge of being another (was linebackers coach).... Marv was a GM in the CFL and as a head coach here not only had input in the talent evaluation but was key in DEVELOPING a lot of it. At 80 he is still sharper than most and has a wealth of knowledge to share. I think he would be a great mentor for a young HC like Mularky if he stays OR a Hasslett, etc. Bring him in. *** I was also thinking that he would be ideal for assistant HC for just those same reasons I just mentioned.
  4. I play mens hockey (2 leagues)...also volleyball (for ber and chicks)..and flag football...just had knee surgery tody abecause of that but it went very well...
  5. I live in Nashville now. Just 4 months ago I was at our first game and was thinking about how I could justify to my family here blowing off Christmas Eve to go the 4.5 hours to Cincy for what I suspected would be a meaningful game. Now I am hoping that I am awake enough Saturday (pain meds...I am having knee surgery tomorrow) to see the game and hope we don't further embarrass ourselves. Please give us a good team again!!!!!!!! Well, football is secondary. Merry Christmas to everyone, even the trolls and hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!
  6. I had a dream last night where we did a fake punt on 4th down and Moorman made enough for the first but then tried a drop kick that hit the upright.....I honestly woke up pissed off and got even moere so when I realized that with this team we may just see something that stupid...... It honestly woke me up.....
  7. But with all this stuff going on I don't take stock in anything coming out of 1 BD...hope you are right and I think you are.....
  8. http://www.buffalobills.com/blog/?topic_id=13 If they start KH at this point (nothing against Kelly) then MM and TD need to be FIRED TODAY......I suspect it is just a thing where maybe he's a little sore from his pounding Sunday but why on earth would you not play your young QB with no playoffs possible?????? That would be the stupidist thing I have ever seen in football.....
  9. But he was accurate in college.....usually if a guy is INaccurate in college he will be so in the NFL....if he is accurate in college he will usually be accurate in the NFL...once he adjusts I think this will all be water under the bridge shortly......
  10. He did and I'm sure it was a learning experience. I think he's going to be a great one......and I like his ability to point at himself first.
  11. Disagree....Jp just threw a very bad pass. He should have a) Led Reed to where only he can catch it or b) throw it away as he was outside the pocket and there would be no grounding. Sorry, but I put that one on JP (and I am very pleased at his overall progress)
  12. If JP makes a good throw it's 6 points. If it wasn;t open he should have thrown it away. Mularkey has had his share of screw ups this year but I don't think he nees to get raked over the coals for running a play that wasn't exactly like everyone though was coming. That one is on JP.
  13. I'll take a bad SUPERBOWL week over this BS any day!
  14. Dave...I lost your number up there. I 'm coming up for New Years....PM me or reply (email is: PatrickBrown@Allstate.com)
  15. 4-8 teams have conflicts. If it's Sam Adams just look at his past....he's had conflict on every team he's been on.
  16. Just a thought since everyone here seems to know everything that happened...but what if Moulds deserves this?
  17. And make the assumption that all the ones TD "passed on" would have wanted the job too. I think it's too early to give MM the yank.
  18. 1) Regardless of final record this season, I am glad JP is getting the time. He has made plays that lead me to believe he is going to be a good, if not great one. JP to Lee Evans has the possibility to be one of the best QB/WR combos we've seen. JP's developement is a plus this season. 2) Ralph has to be simmering by now. People saying he is in it for the ticket revenues is disrespectful and ignorant. That guy has proven he wants to win. I look for heads to roll sooner than later, starting with our GM. ok, a third point......can we clone London Fletcher's heart and share it with the rest of the team?
  19. Thank You! Our record is crap right now but I also do not think we are as bad as some make us out to be. We have a young core, we have had some major injury's (I know, every team does..but Spikes was HUGE for us) and have a young QB getting better each week. I think we upgrade the lines a little and we can be a contender. Also, we have been in the division that has had a 3 time super bowl champ the past 4 years as well. Finally, Sullivan has a right to write whatever he wants and I have a right to ignore him. PERSONALLY, HE SEEMS JUST TO GLEEFUL TO WRITE THESE ARTICLES.
  20. It's like blaming spoons for Michael Moore being fat.
  21. So you are saying that it's everyone else's fault except the players? BS....I think MOST of the blame is on them......they ARE supposed to be professionals and many have had a lot of experience....
  22. Perhaps it is time that we realize the PLAYERS are under-achieving. Everyone has pointed the finger at the front office but there is enough talent on this roster to be competitive. We have seen it at times. I think the players have let everyone down.
  23. Well, no it isn't. If Kelly ever decided to go into coaching I believe he has the intangibles to be a good one, including knowledge of the X's and O's...calling the plays from the line for all those years has to have helped....and it would be impossible to do worse.. Just posting my opinion, no nee to rag on me.....I'm in a a sh**ty mood as anyone else is today too....
  24. Talk Jim Kelly into becoming our new Offensive Coordinator. ..and no, this isn't one of those posts about hiring him as OC, bringing back Marv, hiring Tasker as ST coach, etc, etc... He knows football X's and O's, especially on the O side. He was basically an on field OC running the no huddle. He would be a great coach for a young QB like JP. Plus, and a big one, he has the stones to get this ship righted. Think we'd have an identity then? I always thought Kelly would go into coaching at one point..why not here? Come on Ralph, pick up the phone......
