I'm surprised no one has commented on the article

From what I've seen from him I think we have a football player there.....I respect TH a ton but if it's 3rd down or near the goaline, I am WAY more confident with Willis in there.....I think we will see how special he is as the seson progresses.... just my opinion of course..... -
and TD said that they have seen in the past couple of weeks practice's burst and agility that hadn't been there before....almost back to form.... Could a new ERA start Sunday????? I think TH is all guts and is a stud, but WM has potential to be the best RB we've had since Thurman....and then some... Comments/Thoughts?

We started to see the future.....Evans & McGahee...I think Travis is a warrior but it's time for Willis to get his shot. And Evans needs to be on the field more.....If we lose a couple of more games it's time to let JP cut his teeth too.... Now.....regardless of records.... SQUISH THE DAMN FISH

MMMMM ..... Guinness.......
-
If she came walking into my room wearing nothing but a cut off Bills T-shirt and holding a pint of Guinness for me I'd venture to say that I had obtained the pinnacle of my existance.

Today....after I finish my weekly "upstream swin in the river of ignorance" ie my career, doing a Happy Hour thing ...tomorrow it's some yard work, then I have a hockey game at 2 THEN Texas Hold'em tournament to defend my title from the last victory..... Then Sunday.....anxious build up to the crux of my weekend..3:05.....hopefully I won't have to be in a pissy mood to my staff Monday like the last 3 weeks....
-
But He is totally right in that the players have the last responsibility on that...we blame coaches, TD, etc for everything on this board when really we have the talent to be a very good team..that talent needs to quit f'en around and get their heads out of their asses... I think Mularky has the pedigree to be a damn good coach and I for one will not pass judegement on him after 3 games .... this adversity could be a blessing in disguise too....
-
am I the only one here that has a gut feeling that we will turn this thing around soon? I'm as much a diehard fan as anyone on this board, more so than many (but not all) and I think there is enough talent on this team....and I believe we'll see on the coaching staff too....that it's just a matter of time before it comes together....my guess is this week.....and once we geta win or two they'll come in bunches, much like a goal scorer busting out of a slump. By the way, The drugstore up the street has a 2 for 1 Prozac sale going.
-
It was nice to see him contribute last game. My hope is that he is lined up on the first series next week and stays there the rest of the year......I also think it's time Willis gets his shot. Why the heck not???????
-
I think MM gets more than 3 games before we judge him a failure. I personally think he's going to be a good coach sooner than later.
-
and we still play poorly, just how long before many of the "fans" on this board turn on him like a pack of wolves?????? I have loved this team since I was old enough to understand football and have whethered 2-14 as well as 4 SB's....but some of the crap I am reading here these days is making me want to just watch on Sunday's and not read any articles or this board, which I have been posting/reading for a long time and enjoy ..... Since when did this game get that personal? Constructive criticism is one thing but crusading is another, as are personal attacks on players, GM's etc....does everyone think that our guys want to lose? is there a conspiracy to move the team? lose money for tax right off's??? I've heard all that......you'd think that the team purposely went out and lost just to personally offend and depress some on this board...... Well, bye weeks suck but next week I will take my delusional ass to our backers club in Nashville and fully expect our boys to beat the Pats, just like I expect a win every time they hit the field.... Go Bills

That was the play where drew hung in there, took a shot and hit Bobby Shaw in the numbers for a should have been first down that was dropped. By the way, even though I am leaning towards the "lets get Losman in there as soon as healthy" crowd I still habor hope that we can have an average offense under DB....which, coupled with our above averge D should be good enough to get us in the mix..... AND I agree with USMCBillsFan that there is not a damn thing funny about this pic....I support the team regardless of who is the QB....we can be 0-16 and I will support our players.......factually based criticism is one thing, personal bashing is a load of crap, and may I say, "Dolphin fan esque"......
-
Well, I saw "the little girl" hang in there and throw a third down pass as he was being tackled and getting a shot to the head only to have it dropped. I also saw our fullback run into a pass pattern and let a full charging LB have an unimpeded run to the QB when a little piece of shoulder would have probably bought enough time to avoid a sack and *gasp* even lead to a completion (unless dropped). I also saw our RT give a couple of "ole" blocks that led directly to sacks. My point is that while DB certainly is part of the problem, it is far to easy to blame him (or any QB) for everthing....there are several factors that contributed yesterday..the examples above are some.

The wheels are still on my bandwagon

*****well, actually they aren't the same...at this point last year we were 2-0 and everyone was making super bowl reservations......I'm just messing with you but before I jump off the Peace Bridge I am going to realize we have a new head coach. new system still being developed.....we have a D that is going to win a good share of games and had it not collapsed on one drive last week we would be 1-1....we played like billsfanone on the road yesterday and lost by 3....yes a loss but my point is were in it.....IF the O can improve at all, all other things considered, we are going to ein some games...start winning and it breeds more winning....If, and it's a big If but not that far out there, we utilize these two weeks and come out and beat the Pats, then this thing can be turned around......that's all I'm saying....we are two games in and it's a long season.......everyone could use some faith.... -
I can't honestly believe some of the crap I'm reading today. I am not saying there aren't problems, especially on the O (which can be correctable) ..... but some of what I've read are: - "It's all Donahoe's fault" ..... sure, he has some culpability but I think he's vastly upgraded our talent AND gotten us out of cap jail....show me ANY GM that is perfect then pace the bowl of whatever you are smoking to me...the players need to play - "I HATE Drew".....nice touch of class there - "We're going 0-16".....then don't watch anymore, I for one don't need anymore negatives in my life.... - "the O-line is billsfanone" - they are not playing well, true, but are young and believe it or not, there is some actual talent there.....my personal belief is that they'll be a B+ line by year end as they gel..... I have room on my bandwagon for any true fan.....everyone else can go suck an egg....and if my "glass is half full, perpetually optomistic view" of this team comes to fruition and we are in the playoff hunt come December, then the negative Nancy's I have mentioned can hang out with the Jerry Sullivan types....
-
I agree.....0-2 sucks but is not something that can't be over-come. The defense looks solid..again....if the Offense can improve, and I think it will as theline comes together and the system is played out, we can still make a run at it......The Jerry Sullivan "we're billsfanone" crowd can kiss my a**.....
-
Lets make a friendly wager for the season if you're up for it......I am thinking that the Bills Offense, led by Bledsoe, is going to be good this year.....want to go by record, offensive rank or whatever?.....nothing crazy, something to make it interesting....up for it?
-
Now, I was just giving you props and you had to post this.....
-
Original! By the way, I was just teasing......you at least bring up valid points most of the time though the Bledsoe crusade is getting a tad stale at times..... Anyway, I put little to no stock in that preview...the best offense this team can have is a solid, steady pound the ball and take a shot downfield on occasion..ie, "unspectacular"..... The thing I like about Mularky/Clements is that they have in the past been able to adapt their scheme/gameplan to the talent available.....and there wasn't much on the offensive side in Pitt the past year or two....
-
Good news! He's only going to get better!
-
Don't you have your own team's board to troll?
-
We are moving from Embassy Suites (thank goodness) to Prime Time Pizza, still in the Cool Springs area....it's owned by a Hamburg guy and they have Buffalo style Pizza and wings...they are even getting Genny Cream for us.....I suggest you check it out on your own but I am pumped.....
-
I played a Texas Hold 'Em tournament here in the Nashville area Saturday and the good omen: I donned my Bledsoe jersey for luck and won the whole thing out of eighteen mostly Titans and a Dophins fan!!!!!!!
