Stefon Diggs on Radio Row 2/4
Eastport bills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love this guy. Eloquent, highly motivated, leader for young players and a flat out winner. This guy was the most influential acquisition the Bills have made since Cornelius Bennett. He makes everyone better. Give me another Diggs or two and coupled with JA17, we wish dominate any defense. -
I am the biggest JA fan out there, and I know Mahomes is better right now and it's not close. Mahomes has 2 weapons that are HOF candidates and a better O-line, so that has to be factored in, but in their face to face matchups, Mahomes dominated and Mahomes has gotten to 2 SBs being behind in every playoff game. When JA gets to a SB and beats Mahomes to get there, let's have the conversation.

Is anybody talking about the 2021 schedule?
Eastport bills replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be beyond must see TV if this team improves pass rush and run defense. With any improvement by a running back, there would be no team on that schedule we couldn't beat. -
Milano does not deserve top dollar because he does not impact games like LBs , that get sacks, interceptions and more bone crunching tackles. Warner, Ingram, the 3 Tampa LBs, Van Noy, TJ Watt, Dupree , Leonard Floyd are all more durable and productive. Milano had a chance to put his stamp on our post season, he whiffed. Let him find top dollar elsewhere.

They were roughing Josh afer the release on several plays during that drive and called a personal foul on #57 2 plays before the play they got fined for.i applaud Mongo and Dawkins for hitting that cheap shot artist. The game was out of reach when he tried to hurt Josh. The Bills should pay those fines.

Don't blame the o-line, he was timid and went down easy. His 1st year he was elusive, and broke a few tackles. Moss ran harder and even Williams looked good with our O-line. Do you think , Moss and Yeldon would have displaced him if they thought Devin could do anything. He can't pick up blitzes and he's not any good in the screen game. Maybe Sean lights a fire under him, but it's foolish to expect him to be a featured back on this explosive offense.

A brutally honest look at the Bills' playoff games
Eastport bills replied to Arm of Harm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still can't give up on a guy,22, on rookie contract, who averages well over 100 tackles a season. MLB on a team that goes to AFC championship, must have had many good games. His speed and wingspan are impressive. Maybe it's the coaching. Frazier and co. , we're the problem against KC. -
I understand the desire to give Devin a pass, being a 2nd year player and for sure our pass protection was more consistent than run blocking. Having said that he doesn't break tackles and doesn't hit the hole like an explosive back. Williams looked like the type of hungry back in the Miami game, we need. Not necessarily Williams, but that type of hard running with aggression.

A brutally honest look at the Bills' playoff games

In full agreement, Edmunds must continue to bulk up and get better. His ceiling is high. A better d-line would help him immeasurably. Milano is not worth the price, because he also can't overcome limited pass rush and is a bit fragile. -
When you get elevated to genius status by a transcendent talent at QB, it sometimes leads you to expect him to improvise pedestrian game plans and get Ws. Dabol was compromised by injured receivers being relied on and a nonexistent running attack. Having said that ,he didn't protect Allen from free rushers and couldn't get Diggs involved in the game. He will suffer a blow to his overall rating with this ineptitude. He's got to do better. This team deserves better.

Was that our easiest playoff loss to take?
Eastport bills replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was easy but the bar is now set very high. Fans and the sports world expect this team to win and even improve. More importantly the team expects to get further and be more competitive with KC -
Offseason Primer Position Group: LB
Eastport bills replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Although Hughes, Epenesa and Addison had bad games, LBs like JPP, Barrett, White and David all have influenced the outcomes of their playoff games. Bills LBs have been just OK. You want to stick the blame on an undersized Epenesa and Addison, setting the edge is just as much on safeties and LBs. -
Offseason Primer Position Group: LB
Eastport bills replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The fact of the matter is our LBs were exposed and were ineffective. Whether that was a product of a terrible game plan or Edmunds and Milano getting confused and being out of position. We need LBs that consistently put their stamp on games either stuffing runners or smothering QBs. Our LBs are fast and pretty good tacklers, but we need our LBs to be more physical and intimidating. -
Milano is an exotic sports car, expensive, prone to breaking and flashy. We need a game wrecker who crushes QBs and RBs on the order of Fred Warner or the Tampa LBs.

the missing link - an Alvin Kamara-type player
Eastport bills replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There not many Kamara to go around. How about Harris, Etienne, or Hubbard. -
I don't know that Reid was in Sean's head, but he threw in a clunker against KC. First bad decision came on incorrect evaluation of Davis and Brown's availability. Then, by not having a plan to take away Kelce and Hill, he effectively ended our chance of winning. Sean is a good coach but he must take responsibility and game plan better to take away a team's best weapon like Bellicek.

How can we have red zone designed runs without a legitimate inside running back. Teams are protecting against Josh on QB RPOs and McKenzie jet sweeps. This is where the need for a hard-nosed running back to make Josh even more effective, comes in. Also I think our O-line would excel with their physicality in run blocking.
