  1. He's got at least 2 solid years left. As far as the pass he dropped, come on. You know he's one of surest pass catchers in football. The bottom line is the way Sean and Josh view his value. Do you think if he wasn't crucial they would have kept him after he declined the vaccine?
  2. Comparing losing Cole to Brown is silly. Did you notice Cole's performance in games that Diggs is not targeted much? He's a 1st down machine. No running game, no Diggs because he's bracketed, it's not Davis dropping game saving perfect passes, it's Cole that you can count on. I've watched great players minimized by our fan base in their roles as capologists, but try to remember we've had 2 good offensive years in the last 20 and Cole has been right in the middle of them, playing hurt, getting blown up fearlessly going over the middle and always getting past the marker. This guy is the spine of this team's offense.
  3. Definitely an NFL quality back, but not tough, fast or clutch enough for our team. Moss,on the other hand, is a between the tackles hard-nosed grinder that will be a keeper that we have to get a roadgrader guard to open holes for.
  4. I would not compare McKenzie or Sanders to Cole. McKenzie is punt and kickoff returner who gets hurt a lot and can get blown up on any return. Sanders is an outside receiver and makes as much as Cole. Think of all the great games Cole has had since our emergence. We haven't sorted out the O-line in 20+ years, and you want to offload one of our best players to justify it.
  5. Replaceable by an inferior talent doesn’t help anyone. Beasley the best slot receiver in the AFC, and Josh's safety net when he’s flushed due to turnstiles dressing with O-line #s. Covid issues not withstanding, this guy is necessary to winning games.
  6. After Jax, pump the brakes on going undefeated. Indy and the Saints away should tell us a lot about our future. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  7. The Jets game was meaningful in the respect that it gave the Bills a clear picture of what they are when they give Josh a clean pocket and provide the threat of a running attack. It was a confidence builder at a time that they needed it.
  8. This guy is a baller. He's got better instincts than Edmunds or Milano, without the physical gifts. He makes a lot of plays and he's physical as he'll. Great guy to have if one of our great LBs go down.
  9. Just tell that to the team's that emptied the bank on Warner, David, Leonard, Wagner, White, etc.
  10. So what's the problem with picking up the option this year, and watching his progress. The defense overcomes a host of offensive shortcomings. The way we are holding offenses down make us the formidable team we are.
  11. By comparing his value to offensive players your killing your argument, which is mostly your personal dislike for the player.
  12. You're saying he's less important than rotational D-linemen, and a rookie and 36 year old who is gone at years end at that. Milano's great but he's effective in tandem with Tremaine similar to the Bucs LBS.
  13. So the 120 tackles and calling the defensive signals and being the primary run stuffer is unimportant. Believe this, Tremaine will be paid with the top LBS in the NFL and teams will lineup to grab him.
  14. What could possibly be the reason why some fans don't want this great player. His ceiling is higher than any LB in football and he's loves being a Bill. I've been a fan since the OJ era,and this is the most talented LB we've had in 50 big ones. He's improving every year and he hits rbs like a truck and chases down dump off plays like few can. If he leaves we'll be hard pressed to replace him.
  15. It's a good thing you don't make personnel decisions. Edmunds is a freakish athlete that makes plays sideline to sideline. Speed, length and 22 years old. He is our QB on defense and it's the top rated defense in football. Your problem with him is his long hair?
  16. The reference was meant to equate our performance to that of players exhibiting drunkenness and ineptitude. This also falls under the loose definition.
  17. Hard to believe you've been watching this team the last few years. Don't you know that the Jags game was something that just happens and not indicative of anything. This QB and these playmakers are elite. The defense is top 3 in football. Wake up.
  18. Finally, it took the Jags debauchery to get Sean ÷Co. to get this guy on the field. What a shock,we've added another dimension to this offense.
  19. Pats are playing as well as any team in football. Unfortunately for them, they're in our division. They can't defend us as well as we can shut them down. They may make the playoffs though.
  20. The home field advantage throughout the playoffs usually produces the SB berth. The fan energy, noise factors the visitors on offense and a few home field calls can't hurt.
  21. That was really an impressive, heartfelt account of what a lot of fans go through with a team as they live and die with success and losses. My son is almost inconsolable after a game like Sunday's. I tell him that when you're passionate about a team, this Rollercoaster of emotions is part of the experience that you sign up for. It's entertainment and you move on to the next game. Somehow, the pain seems more profound than the victory which fans of good teams expect. Hopefully there's more good than bad, because for us, there's no turning back.
  22. Well said, hopefully if Zack is not cleared we'll get a look at Breida. You're absolutely right, his best action came in San Francisco.
  23. With all due respect New Era, in the absence of a running attack, any new option must be at least tried. He had a few carries in the preseason and their not imaginative enough to get him some role. They play guys on the O-line who should be longshoreman and Breida, who I thought was productive in Miami, and he can't get a sniff. I'm sorry, maybe Beane is not as good as advertised. He whiffed on Ford, sent Teller away and wasted a pick on Basham when the need was O-line.
  24. Did you say depth?. I guess when you have no apparent run attack and a guy you identified as an outside the tackles, speed back, who you have awarded a spot on your roster, one might think he would get some carries through 8 games. He blocks Williams from playing along with being inactive. Maybe I don't understand what modern day depth means.
  25. He's earned disdain for this successful team showing up undisciplined and lacking energy and a refuse to lose mentality. A bunch of turnstiles for O-lineman and poor playcalling, doesn't deserve a pass. This fan base deserves better.
