  1. They probably think they can just rely on chunk plays and Josh running if there’s nothing downfield. The thing that’s troubling is that Motor can run effectively in the 1st half and they go away from him and he’s on the bench in the 2nd half.mostly. Cook looked good but if you can’t slow down the rush with the threat of a run, a thought front seven will hurt us.
  2. When Josh is your leading rusher and they have him defended in the 2nd half, it allows a really good front seven to pressure him and cause him to miss throws and throw into coverage. The result 3 pts after the half.
  3. Maybe they should start gameplanning with someone other than Josh running the ball. This usually slows down the rush. They even went away from bubble screens and underneath throws. The Jets made adjustments at halftime and took away Josh runs. Every team we play will go to school on the they defended us.
  4. Well, when you get sacked 5 times and your O -line can’t protect, most QBs will struggle. To your point, he looked bad 2nd half last week and should have 3 picks this week. The question is what can we expect against the Vikes and can we slow down a pas rush with any running game.
  5. This is the result of having total dependence on Josh making big plays with his arm and his legs and having no real running game. The o-line sucked today and almost got Josh injured. The defense couldn’t stop the run last week and when it counted , couldn’t tackle and the Jets ran the ball down our throats. This team is vulnerable against good rushing defenses and sometimes Josh cannot be Superman.
  6. Very concerning if Milano and Poyer can’t go for multiple games. Minn. will not be easy with a void in our run and underneath pass defense. The offense will have to be prolific and we’ll be in shootout mode.
  7. Terrible turn of events for Shields. Parents and young athletes have to weigh the risk/reward of an NFL career. Remember that if you can escape unscathed the 4 year average career, chances are the rewards will set your family up for a decade. This is not a no brainer for a superior athlete. The idea of playing pro football is a dream for many young athletes. Achieving that goal is life changing.
  8. It sounds about right, but if he keeps playing like the 1st half and they go to the promised land , they might up their offer. After all, he’s 24.
  9. The problem with standing pat with this wide receiver group is that McKenzie is going to be the featured slot guy and he will break our hearts in a big spot guaranteed.
  10. Edmunds is going nowhere. He is the perfect compliment to Milano. They make the same tackles that you get out of a 4/3 and allows a young , inexperienced secondary to be in the nickel most snaps. They’re super fast and tackle nastily. They need to be in more blitz packages to make really impactful plays and get turnovers. The versatility of Edmunds, being able to cover backs and TEs is under appreciated.
  11. Bills must not become so predictable as to allow OCs to game plan for front four only pass rush. The idea that an Edmunds or Milano could rush a Wilson, would make the Jets more limited because they.would have to change protection schemes.
  12. If we play Minn. like we played GB in the 2nd half, we’ll lose. Josh was out of character for whatever reason. Hopefully we see the real Josh against the Jets.
  13. Beane has been great in putting together this roster but we have needs in the defensive backfield and our o-line needs more depth with the loss of Brown. A RB and another receiver would also give stability in case of injuries which are coming.
  14. I think it was the classic mutually beneficial relationship. Josh was an athletically gifted, coachable QB prospect and Dabol was an NFL and college assistant, who needed to make a big splash with an explosive offense ,spearheaded by a raw, inaccurate QB prospect. Both became unlikely stars with a relationship that showcased each other’s talents and Josh’s metamorphosis as an accurate passer and incredible leader.
  15. Diggs brings a lot more to the team than just an uncanny ability to get open and then to avoid injury causing hits.He brings a swagger that tells the rest of the team,we have the weapons to bury the opposition. His hands are the best I have witnessed on a Bills receiver in the 50 years I’m watching. He is an outspoken booster of Josh and the Bills team. Credit our turnaround to Diggs acquisition as much anything else. I think Josh is the best QB in the NFL, but it took Stephan to give him the security of knowing this incredible, trusted target could always be counted on.
  16. Couldn’t stand Frazier after the 13second collapse, but he has been the top DC in the league this season. The addition of Miller and Milano playing the best in his career, has made coaching this group easier, but he has pushed all the right buttons. No blitzing, rookies and 2nd year guys in the defensive backfield, no problem. Other teams will adjust after watching us on film, but Frazier hopefully will keep us as a top 5 defense.
  17. Lets hope Josh stays as likeable and every man as he is now. The media attention and notoriety sometimes gets great kids off track. He is a rare superstar that really takes being a leader and team guy very seriously. He’s special and an easy guy to root for.
  18. If only the brain trust listened to us. I really believe Moss has ability. Motor has been great, but we need a between the tackles bruiser and Moss could be that guy. The thing that keeps him buried is that Josh is a freak and finds a way. I guess that’s a good thing.
  19. Forget Barkley, Cook and McCafrey. Two 5and1 teams are not trading runners who are leading their team and having great starts. Why would anyone trade for Moss? They have to showcase the guy and get teams interested.
  20. I can’t disagree with your assessment but in fairness to Moss and Cook, they’re not getting a lot of touches.
  21. He probably would be a good option for O-line depth. He probably would be a good option for O-line depth.
  22. I’d like to see a little more from Cook and Moss before committing to another RB. Motor looked great against KC and Dorsey is constructing an offense that uses a lot of underneath throws and bubble screens as an alternative running game. I’d rather use draft capital on depth in the defensive backfield.
  23. This would be a tremendous add for us. The kid escaped our grasp in the draft and now we have a chance to grab him. Beane should put together a great package with a draft choice or two and get this talented receiver. Moore would be prolific with Josh. The Jets would probably be reluctant to trade him within the division. Oh well.
  24. Haven’t seen him, looking forward to watching the Seahawks vs Chargers. Thanks
  25. I only suggested Denver because the Bills won’t be playing and most eastern Bills fans, haven’t seen Sauce with concurrent AFCE games. I’m sorry I brought up Sauce because some stubborn fans can’t accept even a comparison of Elam and another rookie corner. It’s a little disappointing that a percentage of our fan base can’t just identify a talented player and applaud his performance. .
