Is There So Little Love for Tremaine Edmunds?
Eastport bills replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Already wasted too much time and energy with someone who is reluctant to admit they are in the vast minority about Edmunds and won’t concede vast improvement. That’s right replace a pro bowl lb with a 3rd lb from the ACC and describe him with better skills. By the way. Knox was resigned for 35 million guaranteed, it will take more than double to retain Edmunds. That’s why it hasn’t been done yet, so close to Josh’s deal. Just keep rooting against the Bills because of your dug in contempt for Edmunds. What a sorry excuse for someone who trolls our board. I’m finished. -
Is There So Little Love for Tremaine Edmunds?

Do you realize most of this interminable rant is inaccurate and foolish. The important thing to remember is that Edmunds will be paid the average of the top 3 highest contracts in football, because in reality NFL GMs value his length, speed, physicality and vastly improved instincts. He plays every snap, plays thru injury and calls the signals for a top 4 defense regardless of your misguided and hypercritical assessment. He leads the team in tackles and they are amongst the league leaders in yardage allowed and points. The defense is dependent on Edmunds and Milano making plays on backs and underneath receivers. Who, in your infinite wisdom would you replace him with? When Beane resigns him will you admit that you’re just a fan that can’t acknowledge a players incredible development. Do you think he would still be a leader on this highly rated defense if he was the player you’re describing? He’s a pro bowl lb and you’re an efficiency expert that can’t justify paying him. Thankfully you’re not making personnel decisions. -

Why would you even care how long it’s taken him to be good? A rodeo clown? You’re just an angry red hot trying to rip anyone who’s getting recognition for being an overachiever. Predictable that you invoke Beasley, who produced big time until last season when he played thru injury. Who cares about his comps around the league? You’re not being forced to support Bills players. There are a host of great lbs around the league. Edmunds is a young guy who’s becoming great and he plays for us. Deal with it. -

You’re delusional and an embarrassment to objective observers. If you’ve watched the games without the predisposition of being a hater, which is sad because the guy is a top 10 lb in the game, you would arrive at the same appreciation that every broadcast team has for Edmunds. We don’t have more than a few top players in the game, this guy is one of them. It took him a few seasons to get there, but at 24 he’s there. -

Here’s a question for all the Edmunds detractors. How do you feel about a game like tomorrow’s, knowing you have Tremaine running down backs and covering underneath patterns? If your answer is very confident, you must paying this guy with the highest paid lbs in the league. -

What a perfect assessment. Anyone who doesn’t see what this freak athlete has become is not paying attention. -
The inconsistency in the referee’s interpretation and the fact that the rule is not indicative of roughing is compromising the outcomes of hard fought contests and threatening credibility. Sometimes the disproportionate desire to protect QBs is trumped by respecting the legal efforts of defenders and honoring this great game.

Orlovsky: Bills aren't as talented offensively as we thought
Eastport bills replied to Billz4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re a tough critic Tuesday. Could you imagine if we weren’t 10 and 3, no one could escape your wrath. McKenzie is a luxury item who would be better with less snaps and relegated to jet sweeps and 5 receiver sets. With Beasley, this will be the case. Saffold is effective in the run game and hasn’t given up many sacks. He’s been in the league 10 years.. I guess he has damaging pictures of the coaching staffs in Tenn and Buffalo. Dawkins had a bad game vs Jets but he’s opened holes for Motor and Josh along with Bates, which translates to decent rushing states this season.Maybe he’s still feeling the ankle injury. In your esteemed opinion as a talent evaluator you’ve decided Brown and Cook haven’t progressed and are soft and mentally and physically. Davis has become an “afterthought “ because in a tough weather game he didn’t get many targets with Sauce covering him. So besides Dorsey being predictable in a game where Josh floated a few throws, multiple drops and endless holding penalties, how the hell did we score 20 and win? Please contact us when you decide how we won 10 and are the number 1 seed in the AFC Mr Tuesday. Thank goodness you are not in personnel decisions. -
OC Dorsey no regard for clock Management
Eastport bills replied to jahbonas's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you’re old enough to remember Brady’s years in NE, they always threw passes trying to extend drives under 7 minutes, effectively not giving the opposition chances to score. When you have a great QB you throw high percentage passes as alternatives to running into 8 man fronts. Dorsey can’t be blamed for drops or bad routes. -
Could you ask Dion if he could have a possession in the Dolphin game without committing a holding penalty. It’s time to button up your chinstrap and start playing dominant football. As our highest paid O-lineman please play better.

Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
Eastport bills replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
There was a lot of negativity being spewed on all the forums about his positions. He’s a prideful athlete that left his blood on the field and thought he deserved universal support. I’m not saying he was justified but I understand both sides. -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad

There you go. Gotta love this. This guy should get a warm welcome Saturday night. The Beasley haters should just let it go and just watch this 1st down machine do his thing. No more drops on crucial 3rd down throws. Welcome back Cole. -

What a great add that would be. Hard to believe the two parties could get past animosities from last year. If Josh has any say , and Cole wants be part of this opportunity, he probably comes back. -
Jordan Poyer surprises a kid at school
Eastport bills replied to Mighty Taco's topic in The Stadium Wall
Poyer, Milano and Edmunds are the cornerstones of our defense. Rousseau and Oliver are having great seasons. If we can find another cover corner next to White and Hamlin doesn’t overcommit on plays in the flat, that ladies and gentlemen is the best defense in football. -
Inventory of reasons why the 10-3 Bills suck
Eastport bills replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
Troll from Chicago is just frustrated red hot, trying to pour cold water on a team that’s 10 and 3 and has won 4 in a row. Don’t be misled Troll from Chicago, that game yesterday was just a team that knows how to win in tonight weather against a really good defense. -
Orlovsky: Bills aren't as talented offensively as we thought
Eastport bills replied to Billz4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
3 games which the Bills could have easily won and lost by 8 pts combined results in the immediate downgrade by someone called Orlovsky, who I guarantee knows less about our team than I do. It’s sad that fans start buying into these sensationalist musings of failed explayers who need to raise eyebrows to justify their exposure on a national TV show. We have a team that knows how to win games. The running attack is getting better as demonstrated in the NE game and Cleveland games. The passing attack is always Diggscentric because he’s the best receiver in football, but each week a different player becomes featured. McKenzie one week, Knox vs Jets, Davis has been productive in many games. Just remember, we play Northeast football which demands a running attack , valuing the football, field position, great physical defense and good special teams. Josh gives us a tremendous advantage because when we spread the field, not only can he throw effectively in bad conditions but he runs for chunk plays and keeps drives going. Hey, when you are the 1 seed in the AFC, these analysts have to find reasons to discredit your efforts. -
Josh is not fully healthy but until that elbow injury is fully healed, his mission is to use his legs and find open receivers when he’s flushed, but most importantly don’t have any turnovers. Dorsey will run it more against certain teams, but Josh is showing discipline and realizing it’s ok to punt instead of trying to do to much with low percentage throws. In windy conditions, let’s rely on our defense more. The Bills are finding different ways to win..
-
He’s a winning player who will do whatever it takes. The goal line plays are necessary because he sees the holes from the spread and pushes the pile better than the rbs. He will temper his running when we get a dynamic pile driver to get the tough yards.

I thought 10-3 would feel better...
Eastport bills replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
You have trepidation because you see them losing to Cinn or Miami. The best thing that came out of the last 4 games is they find ways to win tough one score games and their defense is starting to dominate without Miller. Rousseau, Oliver, Lawson are relentless. Edmunds, Milano and Poyer are playing great football and White is back. Wait until Josh gets a fast track. Things are looking up for this club. -
Why did Saleh continue to play White
Eastport bills replied to FLBillsGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Besides being a liability on the field, he must be toxic in the locker room. It so unusual to see a second year QB, as the number 2 player selected , come in with zero leadership skills. As great as the Jets draft was this year , they set their franchise back years by whiffing on Wilson. -
This Bills defense is so relentless, and physically dominating, the formula for beating teams in HighMark in the playoffs, might just be not having silly turnovers. No low percentage throws and be satisfied to punt and play defense in the elements. The combination of Edmunds, Milano and Poyer are breathtaking.

Why did Saleh continue to play White
Eastport bills replied to FLBillsGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
You wouldn’t expect him to, but it seems the medical staffs in the NFL clears these injured players like Tua and White, with little regard for their long term health. You have to protect these highly competitive athletes from themselves. -
Why did Saleh continue to play White
Eastport bills replied to FLBillsGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hard to believe Wilson is not the backup. Flacco is the equivalent of throwing a white flag out there. He’s not only a statue but he’s a turnover waiting to happen. Any QB that sustains rib injuries from a hit like Milano laid on White, should not be allowed to play. The Jets need White to get multiple wins in the next 4 weeks. Every hit after his return could have made that impossible. -
Who had a worse game? Dane or Isaiah?
Eastport bills replied to Ya Digg?'s topic in The Stadium Wall
What’s the difference, one drops passes and kills drives and the other gives up crucial 3rd down passes for 1st down. It’s impossible to quantify which is worse. Jackson did make some solid breakups in the 2nd half. I think Jackson has ability but when he’s on the opposition’s top receiver he struggles like most young corners. The big question is has Elam regressed so much he can’t get on the field any more. It’s hard to believe a 1st round pick, with ability, can’t be given game experience . McKenzie is mostly a shiny luxury item who shows flashes of talent but the most part, will not be a difference maker. In his defense, the Jets play good defense on receivers and the elements didn’t help. In closing, never compare McKenzie to the most dependable slot receiver in Bills history, Beasley. Cole got us 1st downs with clutch grabs and was Josh’s security blanket.
