Dion is good not great, Orlando Brown has seen his best days, and the left tackle that the Chargers drafted hasn’t play all year and they’re still winning. Houston shouldn’t draft a QB this year because all the good ones are coming out next year. Trade the 1st pick, Tunsil, accumulates high draft choices and rebuild.
-
Who cares that they’re studs if their teams don’t score any points. Why do you think Miami flipped Tunsil? A team like Houston has multiple needs and Tunsil would bring high draft choices that would address these needs. Why can’t they use their enormous cap space for lower priced FA on the O-line. With a great young QB, Mahomes,Josh Joe Cool, Herbert, pro bowl LT are not essential.
-
Well said and you make a good case for keeping him. The idea of flipping him is not original, Miami did it and lived to say it worked out. I feel that Tunsil would get 2 high draft choices ( one being a 1st rounder) and that could translate into a plug-in edge rusher and a vertical receiving threat. With the cap space fortifying the O-line with less expensive options seems like the way to go. Again, just my opinion. By the way, I don’t like a player on a 2 win team, saying he wants to be the highest paid player at his position..

Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
Eastport bills replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills front will dominate the Bengals O-line especially with Lael Collins out for the year. Judson and Uche pushed them around in their game last week in NE. They.will probably play mostly zone and try and limit the receivers to yardage between the 20s and hold them to FGs, It should be high scoring and Josh will find a way late. -

That’s the thread, Simms guaranteed the Bills would not be able to run against Cinn. Defense. -
Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
Eastport bills replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That Cinn. Defense looked like they were gagging up a big lead in the 4th qtr. against NE until that clueless official didn’t whistle the play dead until the fumble, even after Stevenson got moved back 3 yds.. Is this the same defense that gave the low scoring Bucs a 20 pt lead in the 1st half before Brady decided to try and set the turnover record for one half of football. You should watch the Cinn. defense play instead of listening to Chris Simms. shortchange the Bills offense. -
Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open

I don’t need to go out on a limb to explain the O-line’s improved performance when given the opportunity. Dorsey has started to balance the offense with his play calling. Last week is an example. Cook is effective when given the touches and Motor has 800 yd in a little over 200 carries. Factor in Josh’s yds and I could see them rushing for 120-150. These O-lineman can run block with the threat of Josh’s vertical pass attack. Once our RBs started getting the opportunity, there were running lanes. -
They’re ramping him up for the playoffs. He’ll get more targets this week and more against NE.

Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
Eastport bills replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry, I didn’t realize Phil is 2 yrs older. I’ve been watching since 1968 and I’m supremely confident I provide better critical analysis than Chris. He has his opinion and that’s fine. He’s sure that the Bills won’t be able to run against Cinncinatti’s front. Why, because NE couldn’t? We have our whole line healthy and Josh will run for 50 himself. -

Tre is getting better every week. He had a very serious knee injury. Rehab does not include facing NFL receivers, so he is getting better as he faces stiff competition. Chris Simms, a career backup QB who’s claim to fame is being Phil’s son , has an opinion just like any football fan. He’s telling us throw at Tre White instead of Jackson or Elam. If Tre is cleared to play, I’m staying away from him if I’m an opponent OC. I watch all the games and I was analytical about Bills football before Chris’s dad was in elementary school. I don’t take any of these self styled experts seriously. They’re sensationalist entertainers. -
Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job
Eastport bills replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
As much as I respect Frazier’s performance for us, why would Denver bring him in to resurrect Russ’s career. He’s a defensive coach with a bad history as a HC. I can’t see bringing in Dan Quinn for that job for the same reason. Harbaugh is the guy if you could extract him from Michigan. -
Carr Benched. Stidham Starting Rest of Season
Eastport bills replied to wjag's topic in The Stadium Wall
Carr looks like he’s lost confidence and he rivals Russ for having the worst season by a top 10 QB. His chances for a big contract after LV moves on from him has taken a hit. He has also effectively neutralized Devante Adam’s by his ineptitude. The fleeting nature of a QBs abilities is reflected in the Wilson and Carr 2022 seasons. The OC and head coach have a role in their demise. This should be a cautionary tale for QBs in free agency. Sometimes the right situation is more important than $. -
Glazer reports Jets moving on from Wilson.

I have sympathy for the fans. I live in the heart of Jet country. These poor souls have been beaten down. By the way, my prayers are with the people in the Buffalo area dealing with this storm. -

No matter how many high draft choices Douglas hits on, and the NY media has anointed him as the franchise savior, you can’t miss so cluelessly on the 2nd pick in the draft. Now they have to start from scratch with either a high priced vet who’s last team passed on him or a late 1st rd project.. I like the Mike White story as much as the next guy, but are you going to put your fortunes in the hands of a journeyman who’s been on 4 teams since being drafted. We’ve been there, it’s tough. -
When you step back and watch these other fan bases bleed internally with their teams imploding, you realize we have absorbed decades of pain and frustration and have come out on the other side. It took a bold move by Beane trading up to get Josh, a much maligned prospect in the draft followed by a risky trade to get Diggs and we were off and running. The core players that came after are a rugged, prideful group that will help define this generation of Bills as consistent winners for the foreseeable future.Sean and his talented asst coaches get the most out of the bottom of the roster and every year we see improvement. Bills fans always see a way to get better, but as a 55 year fan, I feel lucky that my kids and grandkids are Bills fans now.

STEFON DIGGS (his best season yet)
Eastport bills replied to Buffalo Ballin's topic in The Stadium Wall
Time for Josh to start feeding him targets. Let’s get him at least 8-10 balls Monday. He’s our meal ticket in the playoffs. Let’s bring him out of his slumber. -
Just think about how all those teams feel about having us on the schedule. Always nice having the AFCE to feast on.

Should we go after Josh Jacobs?
Eastport bills replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesn’t make sense to pay for a big time RB, when drafting one of the many talented backs to go with Cook, still on his rookie deal is good enough. Motor on a team friendly deal seems also doable. The place to spend in FA is the O-line and retaining Edmunds and Eddie. -
Bills open as 1.5 point favorites against Bengals(O/U 49)
Eastport bills replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Always felt the 1seed would come down to this Monday night showdown in Cinn. After watching NE manhandle them in the 4th qtr., their defense looks very vulnerable. If we play defense like we did today, they’re toast. -
NFL Week # 16 - Bills at Bears - post game thread

Anyone who doesn’t accept the fact that Oliver and Edmunds are dominant and are vital our success on defense, should be ashamed to post anymore. Please don’t reference previous years, it’s silly. -
NFL Week # 16 - Bills at Bears - post game thread
Eastport bills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Loved the emphasis on running it. The O -line was really firing and Cook is starting to look a lot like his big brother. Look for more of the same next week. This O-line can run block, Dorsey has to give them a chance. It will open big opportunities for receivers. How impressive was our defense. Eddie, Milano, Edmunds and our safeties were unstoppable in the 2nd half.Tre looks better each week. We are starting to look the part. -
Definitely an antiBills bias. Milano is the most impactful defensive player in the league on a team that statistically is top 3.. This is a popularity contest like the silly Oscars.
