  1. He’s not interviewing because his resume as a HC is poor and he’s a DC, which is not in vogue with most preferred coordinators being on the other side of the ball. Finally, what playoff game against a formidable opponent has his defense been dominant. The short answer is none. If he comes back get ready for mediocrity.
  2. Did Parcells just have an epiphany about this? We need a different O-line and more receivers is what he came up with. Oh yea, and a new defensive scheme. Wake me up when he tells us we need more cap flexibility.
  3. Tre White will be much better 2 yrs removed from the surgery. He looked a step slow but improved at years end. He’s a prideful athlete and will dedicate himself to becoming elite next year.
  4. Why are we trying to shoehorn Cromer as our O-line coach. The line was. Inconsistent at best and when it counted they faded miserably. Our guards were poor in both protection and run blocking.Dawkins looked like he lost his edge and got beaten often by speed rushers. Brown showed potential in the run game but in the playoffs he struggled. Morse is a solid center who’s one concussion away from retirement. This position group will need to be upgraded or we are jeopardizing our best player and undermining everything a successful offense must do well. Beane must earn his money this off season with the O-line.
  5. If he would come aboard that would be the guy. He’s like The Godfather to all the successful DCs . Brian Flores, although not much of a people person, would be the type of no nonsense, insistent on physicality coach that would be my next choice.
  6. Dorsey’s approach is too Josh centric and his personnel evaluation has been poor. The idea that this administration awarded Davis with the number 2 receiver targets and he produced 48 catches is laughable. Cook, Hines and Motor were relegated to a few check downs and otherwise absent from our passing attack. McKenzie was not involved in a way that used his skills. He was not creative and our offense became predictable.
  7. Talk to me after Joe Cool and the receivers get paid. The O-line and D-line are dominating the cap right now. They’re heading right for roster purgatory. Factor in 60 million for QB and Chase and see where this team is. This league changes every year.
  8. The way he coaches, the players will give maximum effort and that’s the good news. The bad news is his game day decision making is questionable and his grasp of maximizing offensive personnel performance is solely dependent on a good OC. From the Dabol leadership to Dorsey’s 1st year, we took a step back and it resulted in a early exit. With Dabol I would’ve said a championship was probable. Dorsey hasn’t established a system, with this roster that features a consistent running attack (other than Josh) or a dynamic number 2 receiver or TE reliably involved in the attack. The screen game has been nonexistent and rbs are not used in the downfield passing attack. The league caught up with our offense and unless there’s multidimensional improvements, there’s zero chance for a championship.
  9. The weather actually hurt us but we were a step slow in coverage and timid against their backups on O-line. Defenders can’t get pushed oback 5 yds on running plays. Our receivers weren’t getting open and our O-line got bum rushed and pressured Josh all game. If you write this off as an aberration you run the risk of not addressing glaring weaknesses.
  10. Beane has benefited from the Allen pick and Diggs trade. His off-season acquisitions have been just OK. This off season is crucial. KC bounced back from losing Hill and the loss of Edwards-Helaire by adding 2 dynamic rbs that give them an explosive run game. They added JuJu. Marquez Scantling and picked up Toney midseason to arguably make them better at receiver. We need a creative manipulation to improve this roster amidst cap issues which were self inflicted wounds. The Bills fans don’t need reasons why improvement can’t happen. They need to maximize Josh’s prime. If Beane can’t do it, next off-season should be directed by someone else. Any team with a HOF QB has a window to get a championship.
  11. That’s the operative term,”when healthy “ and that about 6 or 7 games a season from his time in Az till they dumped him on us last year.
  12. Not everyone, just a DC who’s scheme with the same personnel has failed miserably in playoff games that end our season. If you ignore this what can we expect going forward.
  13. Put your house on it in Vegas. You’ll win a fortune. The odds will be enormous. However you wouldn’t be cause those types of shock value statements are just for message boards, right.
  14. The preparation question is a tough one to figure. Was it poor preparation or. weak personnel and bad matchups. Our D-line was manhandled by backups and our secondary botched assignments and left receivers wide open all game. I choose to blame the coaches.
  15. What pass rush? If Shaq wasn’t pushed into Burrow’s ankles, I don’t think the D-line touched him all game. Frazier was clueless with his scheme and coverages and made no adjustments. The sad part is that our players looked soft and resolved to getting dominated after the Bengals went right down the field on their first 2 possessions. This is on our coaching staff and personnel department. Please don’t blame any of this on the obstacles we faced. If we do that, we’re destined to repeat devastating looses like the massacre Sunday.
  16. This D-line is not good enough to control a physical O-line and tough rbs. The defensive scheme with limited blitzing gets no pressure and exposes a weak secondary. When you have a slow track like snow games, everything is pronounced. Beane has failed to improve our D-line and now faces cap limitations. I wish I could say yesterday’s game was an element of exhaustion and an aberration, but sadly our coaches and players were exposed.
  17. Leslie Frazier will install a bend don’t break defensive scheme that with the right players will win games and have you compete for the playoffs. He has served us well but now with this roster cannot get us past Cinn, KC or the big boys (SF, Phil)in the NFC. What is Beane’s plan going forward. We need a fresh approach on both sides of the ball. With many changes that will be taking place on our roster, the time is now to get a new DC and QB coach. Josh needs a new voice that won’t always agree with him. Keep Dorsey for another year to give him a chance to improve the offense.
  18. That’s right trade a HOF receiver with our incredible QB breaking NFL passing records, and then pay up your rear end for a different number one receiver. Then go back to a traditional run heavy attack with the same great throwing QB. What is this football in the 30s. Contact me when your medication runs out.
  19. The most disappointing thing about the game was that we were timid. That’s on Sean. Not being physical enough in our own building is unacceptable. We didn’t tackle, we were a step slow in coverage and Josh was pressured on every pass play. Our O-line and D -line were outplayed and our secondary was out of position. Does White expect to get away with the PIs against big time receivers every time?
  20. How could anyone in his right mind pin this loss on Allen. Regressed? Our team is soft on defense. They get pushed 5 or 6 yds by backup O -lineman on every running play. The are in different zip codes than receivers on every 3down. Their O-line either gives up pressure on Josh or has crucial holding calls in every series. Perhaps you might want to watch how many plays Josh has serious pressure. The Bengals just didn’t give running lanes.
  21. The first decision is to dump Frazier . He’s outlived his usefulness. 2 years in a row he’s been a disappointment. This team is judged on getting to the championship game minimum. He has 13 seconds and this mindless defensive performance on his resume. He’s a nice man but we can do better. The Bengals DC stymied our great offense. Frazier looked confused.
  22. Absolutely wrong for our personnel. We can’t get pressure with our front, especially with Von out .There wasn’t any defenders in the same zip code for most of the game on plays underneath. Why are their backup lineman dominating our front on running plays?. Why are they dragging defenders for 5, 6, 7 yds.? Frazier’s wrong for our defense.
  23. On a slow track, which we had in several games, he’s just undersized and useless because he can’t use his speed. Some big decisions to be made. Epenesa, Lawson, Oliver and Poyer may be elsewhere. Oliver and Poyer because they’re too expensive and the others because we have to get better.
  24. Rousseau was invisible, but he’s worth keeping.
