  1. If Beane could somehow fit Houston,Ingram or Floyd underneath the cap with some slight of hand artistry, we would look pretty intimidating on both sides of the ball.
  2. Leslie is a fine NFL coach, but he’s gone as far as he can go with us. He’s too reactive with his defensive philosophy. We had lost our aggressive mentality, and his young personnel after the injuries to key starters, didn’t fit the bend don’t break defense. He rarely sent extra rushers and didn’t like pressing receivers at the line. Even Sean said our defense was not physically imposing and needed to dictate the tone. Sean will be much better and our fortunes will rest with Dorsey’s evolution as an OC.
  3. Tre White has to prove this season that he’s still an elite corner or he shouldn’t be here. He’s being paid like the top guys but some players can’t recover from ACL’s at that position. He’s vital to the defense, that’s for sure.
  4. Absolutely right, I completely forgot about him and he is really talented and not afraid of the brightest spotlight. He looked good when given the opportunity last season. It’s just incredible how much depth we have at receiver.. Hard to imagine anyone stopping our offense if the O-line shows improvement. So many options for Josh.
  5. Nice optimistic take on the potential. The only problem I foresee is keeping the play calling unpredictable and multidimensional. Let’s see if this Kromer can get our O-line firing , opening running lanes for Harris, Cook, and Hines. We haven’t had a short yardage thumper in years, so maybe Murray can be that guy. Most importantly, Dorsey has to establish Kincaid, Knox as big targets opening up single coverages for our big play receivers ( Diggs and Davis). Sherfield and Hardy will be better than what we’ve had in 5 receiver sets so the personnel is there. Let’s hope Josh is serious about not taking big hits and not shouldering too much of the offense. A big year for us, let’s just stay healthy and get off to a good start.
  6. Emanuel Acho, Nick Wright, Joy Taylor are just happy to have a job at FS1 and either pander to big market listeners or subjectively favor teams they root for like the Chiefs (Wright) or Miami(Joy). They collectively know less than most color commentators or beat writers. They’re picking over the Bills because having the NY market and Miami engaged is good for their ratings. Until Miami or the Jets win a division, they have zero credibility.
  7. If Quessenbury is starting at tackle because Brown has been injured or hasn’t performed, this team will be needing an upgrade in season.Torrence and McGovern will be immediate upgrades so I see improvement at the RB position and pass protection with Brown being one year further into his development. Harris will provide a dimension of short yardage, between the tackles physicality in the running game we desperately need along with Murray.Cook and Hines are perfect complimentary backs for explosive runs. This receiving corp will be hard to deal with if Dorsey doesn’t light a match to this team by not competently incorporating a conventional running attack along with making Kincaid a red zone and slot option, while keeping Diggs and Davis engaged. His play calling is probably the biggest? facing this team. The defense will be a work in progress until Miller comes back to form and the MLB position gets sorted, but the additions of Williams and Ford should be real positives. Look for the secondary to be much improved with Hyde and Rapp. If White and Elam can be better than last year, we might be formidable by week 6 or 7. All things considered this team will be a juggernaut on offense and if we can generate any pas rush, we could be a real SB contender. With Sean calling the defense, that’s might be the biggest upgrade.
  8. Well said, the print and mainstream media have been rendered a politicized, negative influence on objectivity in a society that used to trust people that report the news.
  9. So poor Matt’s life is destroyed by San Diego prosecutors, who waited just long enough to exonerate him, effectively killing his NFL career aspirations. If it’s true that he wasn’t present at the time of the accusation, where is the outcry to resurrect this kids reputation from the NFL or the Bills. Does San Diego State get off without criticism for doing some half assed investigation and then hanging this kid out to dry. How about the accuser? She just gets to falsely perpetuate this shitstorm and walk away? Just imagine what this kid and his family has gone through for a year. Sickening.
  10. Like I asked before who are you bringing in to replace Oliver? They have Ford and Jones and seemingly are able to bring in another edge(Clark, Ingram). What’s your problem with letting a 4 year, 1st rd draft choice, play his ass off in a contract yea?. If he has a great year, franchise him and get draft choices if someone else wants to pay him. They picked up his 5th year option because he’s durable and they need him in their rotation. This is a crucial year for the Bills, after letting Cinn. end their season in embarrassing fashion. We need our best defenders after losing Edmunds. You don’t like Oliver, just live with it.
  11. Who exactly would you bring in for the minuscule cap space available, that would be a better fit? The fans wanted Edmunds dumped before his walk year similarly. He ended up having his best year and getting the richest LB contract in the NFL. Thankfully the decision makers don’t care what the message board hucksters think.
  12. Do you respect Sean/Beane’s talent evaluations? Oliver has averaged 16 games, 35 tackles and 4 sacks since 2019. They could have unceremoniously dumped him the last 2 years. They sign tackles in FA every year and Oliver plays the most. The team has consistently been top 5 in defense the last 3 years. I said he resembles Donald on the occasion when he gets penetration and looks to quick for the interior O-line. You want reality, they could have traded him to several tackle needy teams for draft choices the last 2 years but they value his durability and his contribution.
  13. Oliver has been inconsistent but when he’s active and penetrating he resembles Aaron Donald. He’s in his walk year so expect tremendous effort from him. NFL players make the most money with the second contract especially if they stick with the team for five seasons.
  14. The Bills must add an impactful DLineman. It is a ? how and when Miller comes back and we have not put enough pressure on QBs. The LBs are weaker as a unit unless one of the depth guys step up. The secondary will be vastly improved with the return of Hyde and the safety we added who’s good. White will be 2 years removed from the ACL. The problem is without pressure these great QBs in the AFC will carve you up. I like the offense and they will score a lot, but the OC is critical. Incorporating Kincaid and a conventional running attack without keeping Diggs and Davis involved will be a challenge. Dorsey has looked like a rookie, becoming predictable and making Josh vulnerable by overusing him in the run game. Overall, if the O-line is improved and that’s a big if because the O-line coach hasn’t improved the personnel as yet,we should be more explosive because Allen is arguably the best QB in football. Finally, I look for the defensive scheme to be better because Sean is better than Frazier. The roster needs a few more additions but with great special teams we’ll be as good as any team in the AFC.
  15. Exactly, look at his games played the last few years. This is a good signing because Murray is a big back that plays through minor injury. He is also a short yardage dog.
  16. Now sign Ingram or Houston and bring it on. Beane is impressing with surgical acquisitions. How he’s creating cap space is miraculous. This offense will be tough to deal with if our O-line gets nasty. I’m becoming optimistic.
  17. Either one and Clark, but that would probably cost too much.
  18. If Dorsey has any expectations of getting an HC job, calling plays for this group should be his passport. Integrate the run, use the TEs to keep drives going and let Diggs, Davis and Hardy stretch the field.
  19. I think the priorities of Sean and Brandon have changed. You could sense that Josh’s designed runs will be reduced when they’re are all saying it must be done in the interests of longevity. Now the OC and that overrated O-line coach must integrate the run to keep defenses honest. With any success in the run game, and a two TE formation with great pass catching TEs, good luck doubling Diggs. I getting excited already.
  20. Nice assessment, I’m just anxious to see how this O-line coaching staff develops the run game with Harris, Cook and Hines. If they can run a little, can you imagine how great this passing attack can be?
  21. Hard to expect improvement on defense especially because we don’t know Miller’s status and the front seven has no additions and no Edmunds. The secondary will be better with the new safeties and White being fully recovered. I expect Sean to be better than Frazier. The offense should be improved with the new weapons at receiver and an improved O-line, but the OC is the wild card. Can Dorsey improve the play calling and not depend on Josh to be the entire offense. Can we develop a conventional running attack. Maybe an additional signing could tie everything together. I personally think we are thin at RB and ILB. With Josh anything is possible so at worst we will be right there competing for the SB again. new
  22. Thanks for straightening that out. I’ll try to limit the frivolous negativity.
  23. The first 3 picks addressed needs and qualified as arguably best talent at positions. The problem is that by classifying Williams as an OLB, that means we spent the entire offseason whiffing at replacing our best player/signal caller on defense. Now we have to either dip into available ILBs for big money or roll into the season with the subpar group(Klein,Spector, Dodson, Bernard) competition. That qualifies as a job that’s unfinished. The draft usually finishes roster building, so no, the Bills didn’t win the draft.
  24. If you see his highlights and respect the ESPN analysts gushing about his get off and instincts, along with physicality, it seems like a great pairing with Milano. He plays great in space and is a thumper in the run game. Beane is having a nice draft.
  25. With all the top receivers off the board this was the best way to get Josh a big red zone receiver and a guy that can get vertical against LBs. I like the pick, he looked unstoppable against USC. I thought they moved up to get Nolan Smith to replace Edmunds.
