  1. When I say go away, I mean stop interjecting yourself into Bills business. You had your time here and we appreciate your efforts, now find yourself another job and wish your ex-teammates good luck. Stop comparing our players to others and worry about the back end of your career.
  2. I defended Beasley for years when people thought he put himself ahead of the team, but hearing his sourgrapes dig at Bills fans with a nonsensical remark about Dak being a “much” better leader as rookie and 2nd year than Josh, is just pitiful. Beasley should just go away.
  3. Let’s see how Sean handles being shot caller for his defense instead of delegating the “bend don’t break “ responsibilities to a DC like Frazier. Let’s see how he deals with Dorsey calling plays after his learning on the job rookie year that didn’t work out well. Finally, let’s see if Sean improves his game day decision making which has been up and down. All in all, this should a make or break year with the clock ticking on big personnel decisions next season.
  4. He’s was a rookie OC, so there’s a learning curve. The offense became Joshcentric, with him being the leading rusher and going for big vertical throws instead taking what the defense was giving him. He certainly didn’t use Diggs in the playoffs because there were few targets and that’s unforgivable because he’s our best weapon on offense. Perhaps the weakness in the O-line entered into some of the play calling but when you struggle to score against Cinn or allow Miami with their 3rd string QB, to hang around with our stagnant offense sputtering, the OC has to take some responsibility. At least they dumped Frazier, because his defense the last 2 playoffs was ineffective.
  5. I want to give Diggs every benefit of the doubt because he’s great and a vital component to anything we want to accomplish. This action however is deeply concerning. What could his reason possibly be. The guy voluntarily restructured his deal so it must benefit him. He claims he just wants to win at all costs but his absence is hurting our chances. If he doesn’t want to be here, he’s proving all the “Diva” claims are true and he just has a shelf life.
  6. You can’t blame Davis for the Cinn game. Plenty of blame to go around in the low point of Josh’s career. Diggs did nothing, and the O-line got pushed around. Josh had his worst game in 3 seasons. Gabe had 18 receptions for just about 400 yds with 6 TDs and 2drops ,26 targets. in 4 games 2021 and 2022. If that’s not production from a # 3 in 2021(Beasley,Sanders ahead of Gabe on depth chart) and #2 in 2022. You will see Gabe get paid like a top #2 after this year.
  7. You forgot to mention Davis was our best receiver the last 2 playoffs. Remember the nickname “Big game Gabe”. He’s in his contract year and he’ll be better this season. You also have diminished Kincaid’s rating as the best TE in the draft, with the best hands. Shakir looked great at the end of the year and the Dolphins were crushed when Sherfield bolted. Hill’s comments were telling. His #s were great as 4th receiver getting scraps on a team with Hill and Waddle. Look for Knox and Kincaid to be major safety valve contributors with underneath crossers. I also see Hines lining up in the slot. Everyone not named Miami would love our receiver room.
  8. Cowerd just throws wild takes out there hoping he gets it right. That’s why he has a segment every week “what Colin got right and what Colin got wrong “. The way to shut him up is for the Bills to have a balanced offense and blow the Jets out. That would send a message to all Bills detractors.
  9. I like McDermott as much as the next guy. He has brought a culture of commitment to team and giving maximum effort. He also has much to prove in the area of game day decisions and defensive game planning vs the best offenses in the playoffs. I think removing Frazier was a huge positive and puts him right on the griddle to be responsible for success or failure. Let’s see what he can do.
  10. This is why the Floyd signing is so important.. Now we can put a great pass rusher opposite Rousseau while Von gets healthy. With Lawson and Epenesa in the rotation, Miller doesn’t have to be rushed.
  11. Wow, great analysis. Objective, reasonable. The only thing that could bring us back to the pack is Dorsey’s inability to keep everyone involved and working towards a common goal. He showed a reliance on Josh being Superman and not taking what the defense is giving you last season. If the O-line is improved and we can incorporate a legit running attack with an improved receiving corp with Kincaid upgrading the slot, this team will be a load.
  12. I think your trepidation about the schedule is reasonable but at the same time the Bills will be favored in every game other than KC and Cinn. If you think the Jets and Miami will be at the same talent level as the Bills, 9 and 8 or 10 and 7 is an easy prediction. I think they get 4 or5 wins out of the AFCE. Then you look at the NFC games. Can any reasonable football fan expect more than one loss against the likes of Dallas, Washington, NY, Tampa or Philadelphia? That gets the Bills 8 or 9 wins. Then you have Jax, Denver, LV, home games. Those games should be minimum 2 wins if not 3. That gives conservatively 10 wins for us. Then the question is how many wins in the Chiefs, Bengals and Charger games are possible. I say an objective observer would expect minimum 1 win. So if you give the Bills 4 AFCE wins, 4 NFC wins, 2 AFC home field wins and 1 road win out of 3 away AFC playoff teams games, 11 and 6 minimum is what you’re left with. Unless your a frustrated Bills hater and you think they take a step backward, 11 or 12 wins is a fair prognostication.
  13. Be careful with expectations based on a hot streak at the end of the season. First problem is that they should never have beaten the Chargers in the playoffs. Their defense gagged up 27 pts in a 1/4 and a half. Then the Chargers inexplicably went into a conservative shell in the second half that handed Jax the game. Secondly, why do we think a 9 win team, with a suspect defense will automatically be better than last season. Tenn is well coached and improved with a healthy Tannehill. Indy will be better because Mattie Ice was shot last year and Minshew, Richardson and their supporting cast will be better. At first glance, they will be underdogs against KC,SF, Buff, NO(away)Tenn(away), Cinn, Balt, Pitt, Cleveland (away). If they win 5 of those 9 and lose 3 of the 8 games they will be favored or pickem, that’s 7 losses. That seems about right.
  14. Happy birthday Kim. You’re always in our prayers and thoughts. Thank you and your incredible husband for turning this franchise into the winners they are and will be as long as you own the team. Your courage and optimism is an inspiration to all of your countless fans. Hoping this birthday brings you joy and the gratification you deserve.
  15. Colin is a Nick Wright Butt boy. Wright hates the Bills because they’re the biggest threat to KC. Colin picked up the mantle and is running with it. Unfortunately he neglected to mention the two new guards, Edwards and McGovern the Bills added and the tackle from Miami(She’ll) along with the best TE. In the draft. Throw in Harris and Murray, two big backs, that can block and maybe Colin should educate himself and that pathetic Jet fan sidekick, to the many additions Beane has made. Face it , we needed better run defense and more pressure production against the big time QBs in the AFC. The Bills will be better on both sides of the ball. Cowerd’s narrative is Defensive minded coaches can’t win against the Offensive geniuses. Bottom line, the Bills had emotional letdown in their game against Cinn. No more Frazier and an improved O-line and running backs..I like our chances if Dorsey doesn’t mess it up.
  16. Results started counting 2 years ago when Diggs was acquired. In 2021 most objective observers would have said the Bills should have gotten to the AFC championship if not for Sean’s soul crushing “13 seconds “ choke job. With a potential championship game in Buffalo, against an upstart Cinn. team, getting to a SB would have been feasible. Last year a 13 and 3 season spiraled out of control in the playoffs. Many factors contributed to the meltdown. Frazier was the wrong DC for our defensive personnel. With the loss of Miller, Hyde and an injury riddled White, our defense got manhandled and looked like a beaten club in the 1st Qtr. The emotional roller coaster with Hamlin and record breaking storms didn’t help. Our rookie OC was a work in progress and made tactical errors in game planning. Having listed all the excuses, any fan of any NFL team other than KC, would give their house for those results.
  17. As a lifelong Bills lover, I have questioned Beane’s personnel decisions previously, but after seeing his 180 degree strategy reversal at a time when this team is primed to win championships, every fan should realize this guy is going for it. From bringing in the tackle from Miami to light a fire under Brown, (a talented underachiever), to signing Murray( an established big, bruiser for short yardage), to signing Ford to enhance our rotation on run defense, to bringing in Miller’s buddy, Floyd, a big time edge rusher to create a QB nightmare on both sides of our D-line with Rousseau and Von, Beane has filled needs with quality talent. All the above, accomplished with no cap space entering the off season. No matter what happens, this is a GM that we can support going forward.
  18. Can you imagine a Bills team that pressured the passer like the SB Rams? This team will force QBs to rush throws, get flushed out of the pocket and get sacked more than in previous years. Let’s see how KCs revamped O-line matches up with a far more aggressive McDermott run defense. A full compliment of physical safeties, a healthy White and an improved Elam, make this defense more capable of keeping the great offenses on our schedule in check. We still will be averaging 30 on offense when the players get acclimated to each other so by midseason good luck to those poor souls on our schedule.
  19. I am so impressed with Beane this off season with his aggressive mentality addressing needs and using every maneuver known in manipulating the cap to our advantage. Floyd was instrumental in the SB winning Rams along with Miller. He is perfect to play in Miller’s spot until he is ready and then be part of an impactful rushing, sack thirsty rotation with Rousseau, and Epenesa. This guy will be a leader and help our pressure packages in a big way. With the addition of Ford and a highly motivated Oliver, this defense will be scary.
  20. Davis has been a star in the post season the last 2 years. I think he has his best regular season with the improved protection and a conventional run game keeping defenses honest. Throw in Kincaid as big target and Davis is set up to have a big contract year performance. He will become a legitimate #2 this year. Maybe this would be the time to get a hometown deal with him.
  21. Let’s face it, they are looking at a big hole at D-tackle next season if Oliver would have left via FA. Edmunds left one at MLB this year. A FA tackle and a quality MLB will eat up plenty of cap space if we don’t want to take a real step backward in a very high powered offensive minded division and AFC. With a contract in hand where Beane can create flexibility, it benefits us in my opinion.
  22. At 25 years old, he’s shown management enough to warrant the extension. I would have preferred letting him play for his next contract, but if he had his best season like Edmunds, you’re in a bidding war. Face it, 68 for 4 is the going rate for an impactful d-tackle, with 45 guaranteed. They’re betting he anchors their d-line for the next several years. If you trust Beane and Sean’s instincts for young talent, just accept this extension. The fans that think this move precluded the Hopkins signing, it doesn’t.
  23. That was well thought out and right on the money. Anyone who is a serious Bills observer would have to agree with your assessment. The most concerning point you made is the ? mark hanging over the D-line without Miller and his effectiveness when he returns. I still think the addition of an Ingram, Houston or Floyd would be the answer to our defensive shortcomings. I have no worries about our receiving room or any doubt that Kincaid and Sherfeld will add a positive dimension to our offense. With the interior line upgraded and depth added to the tackle position , look for Josh to have a better conventional running game and better protection. Dorsey’s evolution is also concerning until it isn’t.
  24. Diggs and Allen must be connected in every way on and off the field for this team to succeed. Allen knows the volatility of his #1target and treads lightly. My guess is that Diggs shows up for mandatory training camp and brings the rest of the receivers production expectations to his standards. Don’t diminish his importance to the offense. Our team’s production is directly proportionate to his involvement. When Dorsey started using Diggs as a distraction in order to open up low percentage vertical shots last season, our offense suffered. Allen had to run more and Diggs became frustrated not getting the ball. With more emphasis on a running game and two TE sets, Diggs and Davis should have plenty of single coverage. I trust Allen’s leadership skills.
  25. Dorsey and Kromer have no excuses. The O-Line has been the weak link and the biggest threat to our QBs survival. Dorsey’s reluctance to get out of the Spencer Brown project is disturbing. Our entire O -line got bum rushed by that Cinn front last season. If Kromer can’t get Brown to improve, it doesn’t matter how big or athletic he is. He statistically regressed last season and now we can’t live with another year of ineptitude.
