Naturally you don’t see it, because you can’t stand the Bills. Keep rooting against them and when they stick it in your ear by running the table, become invisible. Why can’t they beat LA, featuring a practice squad QB,who just joined the team this week, NE at home who threw in the towel weeks ago and Miami, who can’t win a meaningful game against a quality team. Your act is getting tiresome.

It just seems like common sense. These foolish fans who prefer a QB to just try and insulate rushers who are coached to knock them out of the game, from penalties, end up whining when refs miss obvious roughing calls.
-
If you claim to be a Bills fan do you deny Mahomes, Brady, Joe Cool flop to get roughing calls? It’s the way you help your team win. Mahomes and Brady whined on every hit because they wanted a call. Stop complaining, the refs randomly miss these calls and they’re not reviewable.

This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL

Just get the app for the one month and cancel it. Don’t try to teach NBC/Universal life lessons. The season’s on the line.- 556 replies

Your embarrassment and revulsion at him flopping is silly. He absorbs high speed collisions without a penalty all game and sometimes gets ripped around by his horsecollar and gets called for intentional grounding which could have been the difference in the Philly game. Do you think these players care about style points?People that are offended by his flop which turned the game around with the roughing the kicker penalty that featured a flop also, must consider these defensive players should not have made it close enough to get it called. Would you have preferred he stoically stood erect and sacrificed the call? The game yesterday was the Bills season, Josh did everything to get a win. As a Bills fan you should be ashamed.

McDermott’s Defense against #1 Offense? Discuss

If they can run the table they’ll be favorites to get to the SB. -
McDermott’s Defense against #1 Offense? Discuss

Agreed, but somehow this feels different. I think Sean is focused on defensive preparation and coaching physicality with the entire squad and he’s stressing discipline and cutting out penalties. Brady is calling plays that enhance the talent on the team and especially the O-line because they are playing with aggression run blocking for good backs. Too bad it took 3/4 of the season to get there. -

Sean has to take a lot of credit for a defensive performance that rivals any in years. These players were prepared to be physically dominant and fundamentally sound. No stupid penalties, great tackling and pressure when needed was what we served up today. Dallas walked out of Buffalo a beaten and demoralized team. What an incredible game. -
Douglas is godsend. He’s an aggressive corner who has played the best receivers successfully for years. A great pickup for Beane. I’m wondering why Fournette is not activated. He seems like a great way to protect a lead in the four minute offense. I remember him getting a lot of carries in the Brady years.

So are we just done expecting Von Miller to do anything?
Eastport bills replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know, ordinarily I would dismiss your contention that he’s the exception to the rule, but he has a HOF career and maybe it takes a year to get his confidence about the knee. I hope you’re right. -
Ed Oliver is playing out of his mind this season
Eastport bills replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have so much appreciation for how great he has played after getting paid. He’s an all pro and the lynchpin of our defense. Losing Jones has hurt but with Eddie being a leader and providing pressure up the middle, Floyd and AJ have gotten sacks and pressures.Settle and Joseph have been effective run stoppers, Hopefully we can get something out of Miller in these crucial games coming up. -

History, never said that. He’s guaranteed 70 million over 5 years and he’s a liability if he gets no sacks or tackles. The problem is Beane signed a 33 year old, with injuries in his history, to a monster contract and it is adversely affecting the roster for minimum 2more seasons. -

It seems like Von is either hesitant to bull rush or make the turn when he rushes wide. Maybe he still doesn’t trust the knee. He’s got to put his stamp on one or two of the remaining games in order to be counted on going forward. Otherwise we will be taking a big hit for no production at a vital position. -
Sam Martin’s last punt was one of the most important plays of the game. The Bills were pushed back inside their 20 and his punt went out inside KCs 30. Now he’s been mediocre in other games but our coverage group have been inconsistent also. Hopefully we get games that we punt 2times or less.
-
Your point about his value vs cap hit going forward is valid if you see his production decline. Right now, I don’t mind his 3 or 4 game slump while we transition to Brady’s offense. Finally, we’re running the ball and using 12man personnel improving protection and getting the TEs more involved. Do you notice Cook is getting open down the field in the last two games. Shakir and Harty have made important receptions in these games. I also see a critical need for a #2 receiver. Face it , we’re in trouble with the cap next year with Josh’s money exploding. This is where Beane has to be creative because our whole secondary is old and expensive.
-
I understand your frustration, but would you have preferred the offense under Dorsey force feeding Diggs targets against double teaming and not expanding our offense with Cook, who’s becoming a matchup nightmare , Kincaid and Shakir. Don’t minimize Harty’s 30 yd reception on the the game winning FG drive. We know who Diggs is but we’re finding out about other options. I think it’s positive for our offense going forward. Cudos to Brady. Do you care how we get to 30?
-
We still averaged 29 since Dorsey’s dismissal. If not using Diggs helped us run more, use Cook in the passing game and get Kincaid and Shakir more involved, it’s a good thing. That gives teams more to defend and should open up Diggs targets. If you watched the KC game, Diggs was smothered.
-
Rather than start questioning this highly productive player, who has put up great numbers for the whole time he’s been here and been instrumental in Josh’s development, let’s give him a pass because the offense has been clicking while he’s been doubled and putting up good numbers while incorporating Cook, Kincaid and Shakir. It’s obvious that teams are determined to take him away. We will need him going forward and anyone who has watched him over the years knows how competitive he is. My sense is that he comes out against Dallas and Gilmore and makes a statement.

Can Buffalo catch the Dolphins?
Eastport bills replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need the Cowboys for Momentum. That would be 2 wins against the 2 best teams in the NFL not named SF. That puts tremendous pressure on Miami going into the gauntlet of Baltimore, Dallas and the showdown to close out the season. The Dallas game assures us that we have our fate in our own hands getting into the tournament. -

It’s all depends on the Dallas game. We win and there’s a good chance. We have 3 winnable games and Miami has Dallas,, Ravens and us. -
Well said, the guy is easy to root for. We just have surround him with some studs on the O-line and a big time receiver who can spread the field.

Calling it now: Bills are going to at least reach the AFCCG
Eastport bills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
We better get it next week because I don’t think we can get unless we win out. -
If we beat Dallas next week, we making the playoffs
Eastport bills replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a good thing that game is in our place. We need a spirited 12th man and some wind. Dallas looks good on both sides of the ball. McDermott has stress physicality because Dallas tries to bully their opponents.
