Bass needs perfect conditions to get his swagger back, sadly it’s not possible where he plays.

Fake Slide should be 15 yard penalty
Eastport bills replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s the rules bub, Josh gave himself up and your guy wanted to put a lick on him when he was on the ground. Going for the tackle? He was on the ground after a slide. What is a fake slide? Based on the fake earlier where your secondary couldn’t tackle him like they whiffed with Shakir. Just enjoy getting into the playoffs. Good job -

Congratulate them on a good season? They were exposed as a fraud and a poorly constructed team. They lost to any physical and talented team they played. Their team does not show up in cold weather games. When their playoff prospects were on the line against their divisional rival at home, they crapped the bed and had their fanbase turn their stadium into a Bills home game. Their coach is a clown in yoga pants and has a QB who does not show up in big games. Why register for their goofy board anyway? -
Congrats Dolphins, you were able to fool the football viewers into believing that your team was legitimate. It took until week 17 starting in Baltimore to begin process that ended with the embarrassment against Buffalo and KC, to show us what a delicate, sensitive team you are. Perhaps conditions were to difficult for thoroughbreds that thrive in perfect warm, fast tracks like your home stadium. Could it be that your Hawaiian born QB , who is winless when playing in temps under 40, is not cut out for winter in the northern states. Is it possible that Coach McDaniel, who favors yoga pants on the sidelines, doesn’t lubricate his skin enough to feel comfortable enough to call positive plays in cold weather. Maybe it’s those loyal fans , who will sell their tickets for the most important game of the season to serve up any home field advantage to your biggest rival, not being with the team on the road. Oh well, at least you guys were on that in season HBO show.

I like your ideas but add two more and I think with the best 12th man in football we can advance, providing we dispatch Pitt. We must have a competent spy on Mahomes. He’s running more lately and wrecking games. Finally, our tackling, which has been better during the win streak, must be physically imposing. Their backs have been running hard and controlling games especially in cold weather conditions. Miami was so poor tackling that it looked like they wanted to get back to the Hotel early.

Wild Card Weekend - Wild Card Weather
Eastport bills replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
These games are bad for fans, viewers and it takes away our advantage. Move the game or play it on Monday. You won’t be able to see yard markers or players and that does not lend itself to watching the most intense action of the year. t -
Will McD get out of Nickel base early enough to win?
Eastport bills replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Klein will be active with Dodson unable to go. With only Williams available as MLB (play caller responsibility) Klein will be useful. -
Will McD get out of Nickel base early enough to win?
Eastport bills replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’ll be out of the nickel early especially because they activated Klein from the practice squad. Linval Joseph will be important in this game. -
Injury reports are misleading because Wednesday’s practice was a walkthrough and these questionables are better off getting rest and treatment. The only important player for this game is Douglas and he could’ve played in Miami.

The pass to Johnson at the end of the first half...
Eastport bills replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everyone who’s being objective asks the same question. That and the obvious PI on Knox in the end zone right before Josh throws the pick on the 1st drive, are 2 missed calls that could have changed the outcome. Bills could have been up 21 to 7 at the half instead of down 14 to 7. -
The NE job is probably more likely. Vrabel and Kraft have a relationship.

What Changes Would You Expect If Steelers Win?
Eastport bills replied to Dick_Cheney's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just seems like an odd time for the post. -
I hope we can see this great young player reach his full potential in Buffalo because he will be great. His ability to get open and make clutch catches is becoming critical to our winning games. I think he could be our #2 or a better slot receiver than Beasley at his best.

Anything positive to add about the team? Your high expectations are commensurate with your abject hatred for the team. Isn’t sad to be trapped in a city where everyone loves the home team and wants to celebrate great wins and you always have disappointment and frustration. I know just come up with scenarios where Bills fans can blame people for a loss. -
What Changes Would You Expect If Steelers Win?
Eastport bills replied to Dick_Cheney's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you think by giving that lame disclaimer dismissing the prospect of Bills losing, insulates you from the mentality of pointing fingers at anyone in a position of coaching or management having responsibility for losing a playoff game. Wouldn’t it be nice to have fans after watching your team heroically get our city potentially 2 playoff games at home, closing the season winning 5 straight games against 3 playoff teams, just acknowledge how great our coaches and players performed? It’s sad that it’s always people waiting in the weeds to pounce with any underperforming scenario that undermines incredible efforts by our team’s never say die accomplishments. -
Ed Oliver is playing out of his mind this season
Eastport bills replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eddie sets the tone for the physicality that our defense has been playing with. He provides the up the middle pressure we must have because we’re not getting consistent edge rusher pressure. He gets sacks and he’s been available every game. Anyone who doesn’t acknowledge his value to this team and the impact of his resigning are not dealing with reality and should be dismissed. -
Look at his record with Tenn who was a dumpster fire prior and how hard his players played for him and respected him. It’s obvious Vrabel played hardball with management about a new contract so my take is he knows he’s on the shortlist for a few teams(NE, LA, Carolina) A “home run” would be more probable with Vrabel if he had a high draft choice/QB in place and cap space than the other top candidates (Ben Johnson, Antonio Pierce, Houston’s OC, etc.)
-
Teams will be lining up for Vrabel for their HC vacancy. Sean is thriving as his own DC. The way our defense finished the season why change anything.
-
Not a fan of Sean most of the season. He was pitifully conservative with game day decisions and leaving outcome of games to a depleted defense. He was slow to remove Dorsey who was out of his depth. All of a sudden, after tremendous pushback from media and the fanbase, calling for his ouster, Sean got a vote of confidence from the Pegulas and Beane. Since then the team has rallied around him and with the addition of Douglas the defense has been vastly improved. The decision making has been more aggressive and Josh has played at an MVP level with improved play calling by Brady. Sean has established order and brought these players back by believing in each other and the coaches. He’s shown that we can win with him. Great job.
-
Kincaid is an absolute game changing killer pick by Beane and is a matchup nightmare for LBs or DBs. He’s fast, gets great separation and runs hard after the catch. His chemistry and trust factor with Josh is improving with each game and wilh Shakir has become our vertical downfield targets. Small wonder our OC is spreading the receptions around and more times than not Davis is odd man out. Our offense has been transitioned to a balanced attack with Cook running and being a threat out of the backfield along with multiple options at receiver. With Josh’s run threat this offense is pretty formidable.
-
Josh had a good season but his first 10/11 games with Dorsey were choppy. He built stats because he was the offense. His next 7 games were MVP level, overcoming a tough schedule and injuries to win 6 of 7 and winning the division. Lamar was more consistent and had convincing wins against elite playoff teams(Niners, Dolphins, Rams, Lions) If you’re being objective Lamar deserves the MVP. Hopefully we get to play them in the AFC Championship and Josh beats him straight up.

McDermott: Steelers "Handled us easily in the preseason."
Eastport bills replied to The Helmet of's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s the playoffs and we’ve been in 5 straight emotional games. We lost our last playoff game in our building, zero chance we take a Mike Tomlin team lightly. They have a gritty, physical team but Rudolf has never played in this environment not to mention temps in the low 20s and big wind. The 12th man makes life miserable and Josh threw the ball really well against Miami. I like our chances. -
Beautifully said, Amen

OL and DL: what was wrong with them ?
Eastport bills replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did you forget what Tua’s stats in the 2nd half was or their rushing #s.? Are you aware that Josh threw for 350 and Miami’s pressure came when they rushed 6 or 7. The 2nd half adjustments took away Achan and when it counted the Biils DL pressure forced 3 three and outs with Tua’s accuracy breaking down. Try not to be negative when the team balls out to get a must win. -
Does it matter, Dolphins are so decimated emotionally, personnel wise and playing out of their comfort zone in frigid conditions. Their one chance was winning the division. Add them to the list of fake teams that just collapsed. ( Jags, Eagles, Dolphins)
