Bears release Matt Slauson -Signed w/ San Diego

What is the date when Free Agents can be signed and NOT count toward the net/net FA signings wrt compensatory picks? I don't think Whaley will try to sign anybody until after that date. He wants to acquire some comp pick(s) next year - which will make up for trading away the 2017 4th rounder. -

Fox has been in the tank for Trump nearly 100% since the beginning. He has been on most of their shows for years though because, well he's The Donald. The one exception is Meghan Kelly. It looks like she couldn't be bought and Trump picked a fight with her from day one. Of course, that might just be a contrived subplot in the psycho/social drama that is the Trumpster's run for Potus. It's all about the ratings for O'Rilley. Hannity is such a whiner, I haven't been able to listen to him for years.

He was trying that out for the Sr. Bowl IIRC. I think that's where he could possibly fit. FB... not so much, I'm afraid.

Shifty Williams. I like it. Shady and Shifty... quite a combo. -
Dallas Offered Us Their 2nd and 3rd for #19
Nanker replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We still would have Ragland maybe, but no Shaq. He might have gone to the JESTS, Cinci, or Pitt. Could have had Jack or Jaylon Smith. Ouch! Rags might have gone to Jax. I don't see much at the top of the 3rd between where Dallas and The Bills picked that is very exciting though. -
He can always sell tupperware to people in Nigeria though.

Shaq was double teamed a lot during the ND game. He was tackled - literally by Shelton and the LG on one play - which would have been a huge sack. ND didn't run to his side much, and when they did - he held contain on the runner and made tackles. He had several TFL in that game. He'll be a good player for The Bills and a better player than the sorehead he's replacing had last year.

Two law firms: Lawson, Lawson, & Hughes; and Brown, Brown, & Ragland. -
You'll probably be fine. The Seahags aren't seen as a real rival, so the intensity of the yaking back and forth will likely be pretty low key. Go and have a good time.

Jerry Jones Regrets Not Overpaying to Get Lynch

He probably regrets overpaying for Matt Cassel though. -
Anybody else concerned about the 4th round RB who was out of football last year because he had his foot amputated? Well, not amputated actually, but it's like he's one short heart beat away from a bursted-aorta-like loss of his foot... from the knee down. This sounds like something we should obsess over for the next several weeks, now that The Draft is concluded.

Great Draft, but let's keep it in check
Nanker replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well let's all just sit down and mope. All the holes weren't filled... WTF? Were you expecting a XXX Porno? Show me where it's written that no other roster moves will be made, no FAs will become available, and what players are going to quit on their team and teammates this year. Every year it's the same. The Draft comes and there are a few bright moments, then the boo birds come out with magnifying glasses and microscopes to find the pimples on the azz of each draft pick. Oh, and the coaches suck. Like we haven't heard THAT refrain much for the past twenty years either. Christmas morning must be such a downer for some people. Frankly, I feel better about this Draft and this year's squad's potential than I have in years. Call me crazy, call me a fool, but I'm just not into Debbie Downers with poopy diapers the day after this Draft. -

How would you rank the AFC East draft classes
Nanker replied to mob16151's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Pats* 2. Phyns 3. J-E-S-T-S 5. Buffalo Oh, and the Front Office is a joke. It's more than 24 hours after The Draft ended and they haven't signed a single draftee or rookie UFA yet to a contract with team-friendly terms. Zero, zippo, nada, zilch! And I'm deeply disturbed by seeing our number one (reach) pick holding up his new #90 jersey, flanked by Terry, Kim, Rex, RUSS BRANDON, and Whaley. WTF! Russ should be nowhere near the Draft process. Why in the name of tarnation is he even allowed to be in the same photo with the football people. This proves he still has a key role to play in the decision making process about drafting players. Doomed is all I can say. Doomed I tell ya. Doomed. Well, because this is a Bills Fan board after all. -

Nice North/South runner. Reminds me a bit of Karlos in how he runs. Sweet that he wears #32. -

Fourth Rounders really make a difference.
