  1. I'm gettin' a 1988/89 kind of vibe from this year's squad. Could be the start of something big. Not according to The EN EF EL. Lorax is still up by .5
  2. I think that was a combination of things. Roman wasn't using him much at all - throughout the preseason, and Felton did little to show he was really engaged in the O. Being cut and out for week 1 meant his salary wasn't guaranteed for the year when they brought him back. Now that he is back, he's playing lights out. His return and Roman's axing are turning points for this year's squad.
  3. Boy, a victory like this is a bitter pill for that little man on the right of this picture. Yeah, YOU Sully. I mean YOU!
  4. If only we hadn't elected Sarah Palin! Have to laugh at the term. Nowhere is our Government "real life". It's a completely alternative universe. No one got fired for Iraq's not having WMD. No one. No one got fired for Fast 'n Furious. No one got fired for Obama's using the IRS against political foes. No one got fired for the Justice Dept and the FBI becoming wings of the Democrat party. No one got fired for the VA letting Vets die. No one got fired for the EPA doing this: And the list goes on and on.
  5. The Party of the Puritans is aghast at locker room talk and/or boorish behavior. Oh my! Color me shocked! Whatever Trump may or may not have done over the last 30 years pales in comparison to what Hilary has been up to. She's a main cog if not an architect of the state of affairs that we're currently enmeshed in. Trump has nothing to do with that. Hillary has everything to do with that. He's an iconoclast. She's an icon. None of the others in the gang of 17 offered much in the way of real change. Now the Puritans will stand at the sidelines with arms folded tightly across their bodies and turn on their heels and let The Lord wreak his havoc upon the land in fitting punishment for sexual transgressions. In eight years virtually everyone in America will either be working for the government, or a ward of it. Congratulations Puritans. You've won.
  6. I'll be respectful of Kapernick if he gets knocked cold and gets taken from the field on a stretcher. That's real respect, man.
  7. IIRC Brodie mentioned at least once that he would like to have played for The Bills. I think he was doing color commentary on TV at the time.
  8. Any word on Easley? Not many, but here's what I came up with. a as ale aye ease eel eely sale yes see say seal lee lye lay
  9. Here's your sack, Mr. Hughes. If the NFL won't give you one, we will:
  10. I hope you're not shocked by that. Stunning is a word that comes to mind.
  11. Perhaps that money never really went anywhere near to projects to help the victims. It's probably like buying a corporate tent at the US Open. You get lots of comps, bling, and perks all the while having a great time eating the wares of the executive chefs' catering, drinking the flowing champagne, chasing skirts, and dancing in the moonlight. You know - the usual Liberal MO for helping those poor disaster victims. Meanwhile their checks get cashed and deposited into accounts that only move the needle on the foundation's endowment.
  12. Top Gun. It was the themesong. It won an Academy Award for best original song.
  13. I get what you're saying - to a point. But you know how long it's been since we swept the season series with the Pats***? 1999, that's when. Even an otherwise wrecked season would have a certain - and not insignificant - reason to gloat. Reminds me of the days when a victory over the Phins was a great, great good feeling.
  14. Oh, the irony... oar wood ewe say ironing?
  15. The Ravens team physicians must suck at what they do.
  16. Hey, he got is 1 and only sack in their first game. He's had 5 solo tackles and two big assists through five games. Maybe it's the heat.
