  1. I've seen it. My kids took part in that a couple of years ago... B.C.
  2. I make my own. Made English Bangers, Breakfast Sausage, Italian Sausage, and Polish Sausage. I'll be making Chorizo soon too. Props to The Sausage Maker from Buffalo, NY. They've got it all there, if you want to do a little or if you want to scale it up and go big time. Some of their spices are heavy with salt, so if anyone wants to try their blends (they don't have a Bangers spice blend - but I make my own and it's pretty good) tread lightly at first. Breakfast sausage is really cool to make. I add some brown sugar and orange zest and a little orange juice to their mix. You can make hundreds of variations of sausage by tweaking and adding your own ingredients. I want to make lamb sausages soon too. You guys got me hungry. Yagaddaspearmint Gug. Yagaddaspearmint. Every oven is different. Every pizza is different. I would cook a plain mutz pie for much less time, but if it's loaded with fresh tomato slices, thick mushroom slices, large dollops of fresh uncooked sausage and two pounds of cheese, then it's gotta be in long enough to cook all that stuff.
  3. Absolutely! Just cut it into 1 lb sections and vacuum seal it if you can. One of the things about buying either frozen dough or chilled dough from a store is that people generally don't let it get warm enough to relax the gluten. I'm aging a sourdough starter right now and will try to make a pizza crust with that. I think I'll make it a wet dough so it stretches better. Pizza stone. 450° to 500° F oven. Preheat the stone. Put the dough on the stone with a peel that is well sprinkled with either corn meal or semolina. Bake for 5 - 10 minutes. You can try tossing in about a 1/2 cup of water onto the oven floor before closing the door. Live bold! Take the dough out of the oven with the peel and prick any air bubbles with a fork. Put on your sauce (or go hard core and just use canned Romano tomatoes that you've squeezed most of the juice out of) and add your favorite (FRESH) toppings. Put it back in the oven for 15 minutes or so - watch it so it doesn't burn. Oregano is the pizza spice. It's about the only thing I use it for.
  4. Has anybody ever taken him to see The Falls? He'd probably like that.
  5. I think LA paid for his kettle... and yours too probably. Maybe a few dozen others to boot.
  6. Don't forget about The Pacific. Its WWII seen through the lenses of three men - John Basilone, Robert Leckie, and Eugene Sledge. It's equally as compelling as BOB, IMHO.
  7. RIP Tom. Always had the impression that he was trying to be Dylan. Always thought he was a meager talent at best - along the lines of Kevin Costner's "acting" ability. Condolences to his family and friends.
  8. Well, you happen to rub people the wrong way, so it figures. Just kidding Gringo. Just kidding. But I have no interest in seeing that movie. I rarely go to the theatre anymore, and this is about as un-compelling reason to break that trend that I can think of. But then again, I'm un-compelling. So it figures.
  9. Their TE Ed Dickson was wide open and I think could have easily scored on that play, but ended up as the final lead blocker for McCaffery.
  10. Surprised no one has brought up cows again. Methane is far worse than CO2 when it comes to global warming. So do your best to help save the planet - go vegan, or eat insects instead of beef.
  11. Mos def. It's from the BBC and little more than propaganda, used at the time to keep the home folk "informed" as to the progress - or lack thereof. Monty was an ass, a UGE ass. Just wanted to give a wee small clue as to the importance of logistics and transportation in the distribution channel. When it's !@#$ed, it's !@#$ed. But I couldn't find anything on Noumea other than this - which was shot through rose colored lenses and isn't much better. With newsreels like this, it's a wonder we didn't win the war in 1942.
  12. But I've heard we've lost a 3rd Round Comp pick at least. And, if we finish with a better record than The Chiefs, it'll be like having four 2nd round picks instead of two 1st and two 2nds. ANY day the Pats*** lose is a good day.
  13. QBs have trouble seeing him because Micah Hyde's in the backfield. I'll be here all week folks... drink up! Try the veal - it's the best in the city.
  14. Some of those people who are "here" haven't been here long and come from cultural backgrounds that are steeped in hatred for the west and America in particular. There is such a small percentage of "white" native born Americans who have done this and most are complete wack jobs and not driven by their God to perform such heinous acts of depravity. Percentage-wise there's been a greater number of attacks from fanatic Islamic-inspired theology believers compared to Islamic theology believers, than the percentage of white privileged CIS cracker knuckle-draggers compared to the overall population of white privileged CIS cracker knuckle-draggers. We're told all the time, well just because there's a small number of Group A is acting up, it doesn't mean ALL members of Group A are bad. And, sure just because these guys are part of Group B and did something awful, it doesn't mean because they're a member of Group B that they did this. It was something else. Perhaps a jilted lover, homosexual confusion, they're off their meds, they've doubled up on their meds, they ate at Mighty Taco and got a-getta, or they had a case of the runs and s hit their pants and got in a mood that matched the foul smell in their britches. If you're looking to stop trouble before it happens, personally I think it's a better spend of scarce resources to look at the fomenting bags of puss in society and focus on those groups. Instead, we get TSA pat-downs of 80 year-old grandmothers from Minnesota in airports.
  15. That gets me deep. I'll try to start a collection plate for them soon.
