  1. They are terrified that it will work because it will refute the dogma that’s been their mantra and creed for decades.
  2. Its human nature. You expect me to send you a birthday present if you don’t invite me to your party and say mean things about me all around the neighborhood?
  3. I’ll never buy a PP John’s pizza again. Come to think of it, I never have.
  4. But where will get get enough birds? They've all been eaten.
  5. I can't imagine what a preemptive strike against North Korea would look like. I think it would trigger cataclysmic chaos. Just my 2¢
  6. But, but, but won't "growing the economy" only benefit the rich? After all if corporations do better under the new tax laws, they stand to gain a lot more, and that's just not good for America and the little people. Those people need more money from the government to get the things that they want and need and are their God-given inalienable right to have! Things like neutral Internets, cell phones, 4k TVs, Playstations and X-boxes, rent money, food stamps, free Uber rides. Those damn rich people got ALL the money. It's time we take it from them. 7. Tell it to the Police. I know. You HATE the Police, almost as much as you hate Americans.
  8. Obama Administration spokesmodel Ben Rhodes is still on Twitter, and still bragging about the deal he sold to the complicit mainstream media. “All these newspapers used to have foreign bureaus,” he said. “Now they don’t. They call us to explain to them what’s happening in Moscow and Cairo. Most of the outlets are reporting on world events from Washington. The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.” In this environment, Rhodes has become adept at ventriloquizing many people at once. Ned Price, Rhodes’s assistant, gave me a primer on how it’s done. The easiest way for the White House to shape the news, he explained, is from the briefing podiums, each of which has its own dedicated press corps. “But then there are sort of these force multipliers,” he said, adding, “We have our compadres, I will reach out to a couple people, and you know I wouldn’t want to name them — ” “I can name them,” I said, ticking off a few names of prominent Washington reporters and columnists who often tweet in sync with White House messaging. Price laughed. “I’ll say, ‘Hey, look, some people are spinning this narrative that this is a sign of American weakness,’ ” he continued, “but — ” “In fact it’s a sign of strength!” I said, chuckling. “And I’ll give them some color,” Price continued, “and the next thing I know, lots of these guys are in the dot-com publishing space, and have huge Twitter followings, and they’ll be putting this message out on their own.” This is something different from old-fashioned spin, which tended to be an art best practiced in person. In a world where experienced reporters competed for scoops and where carrying water for the White House was a cause for shame, no matter which party was in power, it was much harder to sustain a “narrative” over any serious period of time. Now the most effectively weaponized 140-character idea or quote will almost always carry the day, and it is very difficult for even good reporters to necessarily know where the spin is coming from or why.” David Samuels NYT May 2016 more at the link. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/08/magazine/the-aspiring-novelist-who-became-obamas-foreign-policy-guru.html The Left is cynical and calculating.
  9. Sure. AT&T get a UUUGE tax break and their poor little peon employees only get a grand a piece. Rich getting richer. [/LeftistsOnParade]
  10. Can’t wait to get fatter dividend checks beginning next year. That, and with corporations buying back their stock it will make my securities more valuable. AND paying less in taxes will be gravy... pure gravy. Glad this will be the last time I have to pay any ObamaCare and Alternative Minimum Taxes.
  11. I dunno Tasker. Somehow I don’t see the Israelis really getting behind a final solution like that.
  12. Unfortunately, The Bills have had quite a few Head Coaches that we’re jokes.
  13. Neither did OJ for that matter. Rauch had him returning kickoffs. OJ's stats for his rookie year were just a bit over what Max's were the previous year.
  14. When you have the most corrupt Department of Justice in the history of the nation, it's no surprise that it didn't investigate, yet alone prosecute anyone in that corrupt regime. Drain the swamp.
  15. The super rich have more money than the rich. The rich have more money than the middle class. The middle class has more money than the poor. The water in the ocean is wet. The water in the lakes is wet. The water in the rivers is wet.
  16. Sweet justice indeed. The Dems just sat on their hands and did nothing to help reform the US tax system. They return to their constituents with a bowl of sour grapes and have to face the fact that the people who sent them to Washington are going to pay more because they did nothing to help them. And cry me a river for the Hollywood and Palo Alto billionaires who have to pay more in taxes now in spite of their enormous monetary contributions to the corrupt Hillary Clinton. The trickle down from this is that the states with exorbitant taxes will have a much tougher time raising them in the future. Taxed Enough Already?
  17. Auto insurance protects people from damages that are accidental. Not everyone goes to a Doctor every year.
  18. Why should millions of people be forced to buy something that they don’t want or need just so you get a benefit from their contributions? Why do you view the economy as a zero sum game, or that is a pie that can’t ever get any larger?
