  1. So to take it a step further, the only way they could keep their bogus investigation going was to get an Independent Prosecutor to do it. Sessions really !@#$ed up.
  2. Living for decades I n Western NY and then Princeton, NJ almost always the eggs we bought had white shells. Since moving to Cape Cod we’re struck by the fact that most of the eggs have brown shells. What’s your experience in your neck of the woods?
  3. That’s pretty much what “Deep Throat” (the Associate Director of the FBI) said... Follow the money.
  4. I believe Tibs is right on this, and that it goes back to the pre-anti-monopoly laws, i. e., the “Robber Baron” era of naked capitalism in America. J D Rockefeller was ruthless and not a nice guy.
  5. And yet they elected his great-grandson a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates 1966, Secretary of State 1968, Governor1976, and US Senator in 1984 - albeit after spending $12 million on his campaign, and then reelected him to the Senate in 1990, 1996, 2002, and 2008.
  6. What gets me is that some people just blindly believe the F.B.I. and the DOJ upper echelons are incapable of being politically motivated and corrupted by their biases. Toss the CIA and the other Deep State players into that group too. Of of course they believe that until they discover things like what was in J. Edgar Hoover’s closet.
  7. Sure. About one request for Sudafed comes in to a pharmacy a month now. There are lots of good alternative drugs to use that dopers like some around here find useless for making meth. Apples and peanuts.
  8. There are many, many stores that sell guns and ammo. You suggesting having a DB that is inter-connected that would track John Doe’s purchases of multiple products at multiple locations at multiple times? not so simple is it.
  9. Good for her. All politics is local. She should advocate for issues that she feels strongly about. Whether or not that was the right forum could be the subject of debate. Let’s see what this does for her candidacy.
  10. She just might be. Listen to the Cherokee war cry. It does sound a lot like her.
  11. Now that they got the money from being in the playoffs, maybe they can finish painting their helmets.
  12. Few people have the courage of Hillary Clinton and Human Abedin who divorced their husbands after their sexual misconduct became public knowledge.
  13. You should take the time to visit Colonial Williamsburg. The Governor's mansion has a particularly nice collection of weaponry from Cutlasses to Flintlock guns. Their armory is in a different place - which is where they stored their communal gunpowder. From Lexington, the Brits marched on Concord, MA where "The Massachusetts colonial assembly responded to these provocations by directing townships to ready their militias. War was coming, and Boston’s patriots were preparing for it. The British were preparing, too, and in April 1775, they directed Gage to disarm the rebels. Gage ordered Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith to gather 700 British Army soldiers and march to Concord, where the rebels were reportedly storing mass quantities of arms and ammunition. Their orders were to find the stash and destroy it." Not a standing army per se, but the Colonies did have militias with communal stores of arms and ammunition.
