This isn't Brady throwing 50/50 balls to Moss. Brady is 45, Julio hasn’t played a full season since 2018.

Is Mahomes-Allen the new Brady-Manning? (The Ringer podcast episode)
uninja replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we've determined that the only thing that can truly stop Josh Allen is...Josh Allen. -

You're thinking of Jets tackle Kelechi Osemele. It was a shoulder injury.

Man if we could afford it I'd think about it. He's good, really good. But the Bears gonna want picks, prolly a first. Smith is gonna want a bag, a big one. We don't really have either of those to dole out.

I have weird juju about player's jerseys and refuse to buy one of a current player because I'm pretty sure me buying the jersey will be the reason their knee turns into glass dust or their hand explodes during a routine handoff. I also don't do the 90's teams throwbacks because those aren't my players. Feels weird wearing jerseys of players I never watched on TV. So I own a Kyle Williams jersey that I bought once he announced his retirement. I'm considering adding a McCoy, Jackson or Fitz jersey.

Andre Reed heavily suggests that OBJ will sign with Bills
uninja replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
We tried this last year with Sanders and Davis outplayed him. What's bringing OBJ going to do for us other than make a crowded WR room messier and stuff Davis deeper down the depth chart when he really shouldn't be? Most years I would be all about bringing in OBJ but this team is loaded and I just don't know what he adds at this point other than make WR situation more difficult than it already is. -
Looks like it was a great evening. Awesome for the fans and the turnout was amazing. Seeing some videos of players walking into the tunnels and people are legit throwing stuff at Diggs and Allen to sign. Hate to be a wet blanket on what was a great evening but we should make it clear that stuff isn’t cool, not cool at all.

It's almost as if our front office is...good at their jobs or something.

Other than his lackluster job fielding kicks and punts I feel like he always comes up big when his number is called. He was downright unstoppable against Miami in 2020 and against the Pats on 2021. Feel like he needs targets more than anything but this offense always has so many mouths to feed.

Dalvin's Cook brother, criminally underused in Georgia, and a second round pick? Nah, guy was going straight to the practice squad.

Week 2 of Camp - updates and talking points (OL??)
uninja replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
He'll learn. I'd rather he be overly aggressive/eager and learn to hone the edge than be timid/unsure. White is a pretty aggressive CB and gets his fair share of holding and DPI calls but he knows where the line is by now. If Elam can do the same the backfield is Buffalo will be a no fly zone. -

It's a Wonder He Can Walk!!! (Jordan Simmons)

I think his knees are trying to tell him something. -
Mitch Morse wasn’t a good signing? Stefon Diggs has been everything we hoped he’d be. Cole Beasley was exactly what we needed when we needed him. The rest have been good/average and played or have played their roles well. Also I guess curious what your benchmark here is, is there another team you’re looking at that you think is the standard that the Bills should aspire to?

Uhh, Tredavious White, Matt Milano, Taron Johnson, Dion Dawkins, Gabe Davis, Devin Singletary, Tyler Bass, Dawson Knox, Dane Jackson. Those have all been good draft picks, some especially good considering what round. Mitch Morse, Cole Beasley, Stefon Diggs, Tyler Matakevich, Emmanuel Sanders, Mario Addison. Those have been great to good FA picks ups or trades. That’s a pretty solid list. What teams immediately spring to mind that have drafted much better consistently since 2017 and also hit on all of their FA signings? Maybe the Colts? The Bucs? Anyone else?

USFL overtime: Three rounds of 2pt conversions

I don't understand why at the end of the game, if no one has won the game they decide to play a completely different game to settle the result of the game. Just play more game. -
It's also been trending to have TE's more involved in the passing game and having their presence create a much more complicated picture for a defense if you have a big dude that can block, catch and truck people. If you have a very good TE on your roster you are a MUCH more complicated offense to defend. See Gates with the Chargers, prime Gronk in NE, Kelce in KC, Kittle with the 49ers and Waller in Las Vegas. If Knox can have that kind of effect on our offense, and he's been trending in that direction, he should definitely command a salary that rewards him as such as complicated as that makes it for Beane and the FO.

I feel like this just means the Eagles are going to make the playoffs because they play in a ***** division and then get bounced from the playoffs in super wild card weekend, just like last year.
