Bengals had a LOT of balls roll their way this game. Steelers offense is super meh. Their defense is not but if Hayward and Watt miss a lot of time that’s gonna get real ugly real quick.
I will gladly take another Pats Rams like Super Bowl if it means the Bills win the game.
If Tremaine Edmunds gets named Super Bowl MVP of that game someone’s heads are gonna explode.
feel like that sends a terrible signal to the locker room. It goes against the culture of earning your place and the right to play. Your best players make the 53, period.
Everyone here freaking out about OL depth needs to look around at other peoples rosters. Our backup OLs have a lot of NFL experience and more than 100 combined starts. The same cannot be said for most other rosters.
A week 1 out of conference loss won’t phase me at all. I’m fine with starting 2-2 or something like that to open the season if it means taking the time to iron out some kinks and have the roster settle for the back half of the season.
You can play some roster musical chairs if you need to bring someone onto the 53 and then IR them so they’re not on IR for the entire season. That would be a way to keep Johnson on the roster temporarily until the other players IR clock runs out.
Stevenson is hurt. They can IR stash him. Duke is an easy cut because he’s a vested veteran so isn’t subject to waivers if they want to do any handshake deal roster shenanigans.
Pretty sure it’s just like any business sector. No one’s going to outwardly share but it’s a small world and I bet a lot of industry people know each other. If you have friends in the right places you can get some intel off the record.
