Correct, it was the first home game against the chargers. We got thoroughly smoked that game. Then the Vikings game happened and we all saw the first glimpses of who Josh Allen was going to be.
I feel like Coleman only runs two routes, a go route down the sideline or a shallow inside crossing route and it's pretty obvious which one it's going to be before the snap depending on down/distance. I feel like the org doesn't trust Coleman with a complete route tree.
Makes total sense, he's one of our best receiving threats and him being there lets you run credible pass plays out of 13 personnel.
When we can line Kincaid, Knox and Hawes out there with Cook this is a tough offense to figure out pre snap.
If you're faced with a strong DL the conventional wisdom is you run at pressure and throw away from it. Good mix of run, both up the middle and to the outside along with quick outs, screens and jet sweeps. Force them to play sideline to sideline and bring a safety into the box.
There's a full season of 'the Brady offense' on tape now. Something in the passing game isn't clicking, not sure if it's Allen, play calls, receivers, how it's being defended etc
How the holy hell the 49ers seem to be a Super Bowl contender ever other year or even still looking dangerous dealing with their QB situation, injuries, dead money, terrible trades and drafts has to be one of the greatest magic tricks ever
Agree, some hot takes in here lol. In '24 Rapp was playing well and honestly if he wasn't out against KC in the AFCCG I'd wager the result might have been different.
I can think of at least a dozen, if not two dozen, teams that would kill for our coaching and GM situation over the last 5-7 years or so. I think too many of us as fans completely lack any sense of perspective.
How weird would it be if Flacco eventually took each team in his division on a miracle playoff run?
He’s got Balt and Cleveland down. Just Cincy and Pittsburgh to go 😂
