  1. On the broadcast Sanchez actually said that “if he keeps running his QB rating will be horrible as rush is not counted (he should stop)” Sanchez had a bunch of disgusting stat awareness comments while Josh ran 125 yards. He is horrible on tv
  2. bills 51 Raiders 3 —patriot’s hoodie more satisfying but still dangerous hoodie. —colts proved they can beat us.
  3. We are just noticing bad conditions more because we have a modern, quality team, great QB, group of good receivers. Exaggerates our focus maybe. We have evolved beyond “ground and pound” (aka our passing game sucks) Oct 9, 2001 Cleveland a 6-3 over Buffalo. T Edwards/ M Lynch We had a good running back !!?? it was miserable weather, and worst game ever. “In-Josh-We-Trust 2022”
  4. 250 Million Dollar Man said, “I’ll sign the deal and know I will do whatever it takes this year, IF next year, Beane, help me out more”. Body neglect since Tampa and I see no reason he will stop until after SB. Again, you know he made a pact for next year.
  5. QB doesn’t exactly acclimate to wind really. 360 degrees, variable speeds, gusts, sustaining, vertical and horizontal field, start of pass, end of pass. it’s not really an acclimation thing like cold or hot.
  6. because Buffalonians want to be #1 in ***** football weather in 2040: “This was a runaway. No NFL city puts its players and fans in more challenging weather than Buffalo.here is a full list of the football weather misery indices we calculated for all NFL cities with teams that do not play their home games in climate-controlled stadiums. Remember, a higher FWMI means worse weather. 1. Buffalo (77.4) 2. Green Bay (65.6) 3. Cleveland (65.2) 4. Pittsburgh (57.3) https://weather.com/news/news/2019-09-12-nfl-worst-weather-cities
  7. Stadium Avg wind speeds. Doesn’t seem like a lot but 8 mph to 16 mph is +100% increase in wind. Buffalo/Orchard Park 16.1 Foxborough, 14.5 Kansas City, 10.6 Cleveland 10.5 Chicago 10.3 Green Bay 10.0 Tennessee 8.0 Jacksonville 7.8 Charlotte 7.4
  8. Townie buffalonians want to build a year 2040 stadium to match one in 1972. Terry, wants to HEAT the grass too!! = mud in Oct/Nov. = half froze slop Dec = spray paint it green Jan for TV Recent Govt subsidized Yankees $1.7B, $14B LaGuardia, $15B JFK. ....cover it or we lose good players.
  9. It’s a lost cause! The Low IQ BUF townies will only argue that a cover is for “girly men”. (Btw, OJ called, he wants his glove!) Josh realized we need a stadium cover for highest winds in the NFL (2x), we need as a recruitment, future teams, rules changes, and all styles of future team play! A cover isn’t about girly-men or nostalgia—it’s about a competitive long term team future. f the next (local) generation, again.
  10. My girls ages 21, 24 had frozen feet. After 3 hrs on frozen concrete. The dudes ahead overheard and donated extra chem heat foot warmers to them. Funny, even WNY girls froze their toes. The kicker? The donation dudes were from Carolina!!
  11. jeez. You can’t have everyone on the team as HOF. We have excellent players in most spots on D, most spots on O. Let’s toss in HOF RB and line. You can’t build a team with pro bowlers at each position. beane decided we had to have a modern pass attack to win. Dah! We have that
  12. Terry wants open air, natural grass. I’d like to hear his rationale. His $250M highest paid employee asked for a dome. Seriously, would be good to hear.
  13. 17 points? I might bet my first bet on that, spread as too wide
  14. I agree with the outdoors is a fun part. But this board keeps forgetting how absolutely ***** the weather is (wind, wet, cold). TB moved to Tampa. NYS is bleeding upstate peeps because of this “romantic football weather”. Long term, better conditions are better to retain, recruit!
  15. The three arguments for open air: 1) “ manly-man harsh conditions are for real men to watch, everyone else is weak”. I suppose? 2) “Other stadiums are open air and are fine”. Bogus. BUF is the worst weather in NFL, by almost every measure (wind, wet, cold). every player knows it affects their career negatively. 3) Costly dome Downstate NY Yankee stadium had $1.2B subsidy of $2,3B. Suck it up kids, let’s get $$ for upstate for once!! Spans 50 yrs not a big deal.
  16. Ryan knee down at 6” was epic goof! .. taunting, my god that was nuts! McClappy should show that taunt penalty to his team over and over, and over. YES! offense finally adapting quicker!!
  17. We had a back w/ 120 yd game, #17. This time of year, win is a win!! ( eeek….125 yds should be halfback vs. quarter back;)
  18. NFL is a passing league, period. Buffalo windy outdoors is not a passing place. you need a great passing attack to get to or win SB. Yankee Stadium “ $2.3 billion stadium, built with $1.2 billion in public subsidies” No place is as bad as BUF. NONE. what is wrong with you?! p.s. I relish the snow bowl as much as anyone but that’s now how you get to or win SB
  19. No real wind. Phew. Flakes and cold—no probs. No wind, it’s Josh time!
  20. This thread is annoying. key point proved by BUF with #17: NFL teams must keep swinging at a top 10 QBs until they hit. BUF tried the stupid approach of 2nd tier (for yrs!!). Cards show the way!!. They picked the wrong Josh 2018, but saw it…then Murray 2019 to fix.
  21. He’s not young. I’d rest him for playoffs and then more experience for others now. During playoffs, you then get all. Between covid, injury, etc. There aren’t many players that fit but rest oldies when/where you have equal replacements (Hughes, Sanders)
  22. Remember beaz played last January playoff with a leg fracture? These guys often have backstories we don’t know about until later.
  23. I recommend Parking off the main lots. Webster Road $20. Porta pots and owner on site. Subs from Wegmans. Dress like skiing.
  24. Not on my vote. 5 wide gets us in trouble often, harms our D. knox+singletary+allen = defense has to deal with short (and mid) play makers. keeping this trio active frees the WRs. josh is nearly indefensible for run/pass option rolling with Singletary and Knox nearby in space. And while he has them flustered at short, that D hesitation opens WR long.
  25. Wow, that game was boring. I think I heard a pin drop on tv. I also had a case of “Bad-QB-PTSD” there.
