The backup players can still show good tape for their futures, but have the HC make stupid play calls and mgt to intentionally rob #1 pick. McD has some experience in this matter ;-o

QB/OL making everyone look better. These second tier players like RB-3 may have a single shot at the $$, who can blame them.
-
He’s a big boy blocker too. He quoted “Here (Bills), you want the rock, y’all gotta block”. He implies that was new team ethos for him.
Josh did the head tap thing too. Means “catch over the head”. Must be a thing.

Let Pats win. NE QB looks legit and many rounds of 4+ draft spots can be magnifying this dumb game for yrs.
Let bills players get their pay Sunday but have Center fumble a lot!!

I don't agree with this sentiment. Buffalo has an outstanding roster and is a quite possibly the best in the NFL.
No. Beane has built an average roster with one superstar. 3rd and 4th players above avg. Then 17 makes all the offense players better than the parts, defense is better from #17…
17+OL is the Bills secret sauce to all of it. OL/O moving, no name O, and Offense helps D.

• Pre-Josh Allen (2014–2017): 8.25 wins/year
• Post-Josh Allen (2018–2021): 10 wins/year
improvement of 1.75 wins/yr. after 17 joined Bills.
Bah. Proves stats suck. -
It’s a double draft bonus to lose.
NE out of #1Bills move up spot.
One snap. give them a SAFETY 2 and FORFIET.

Beane decided to pay him $31 million to go away. That's how bad he wanted him gone.
I was watching an old piece with 14 and 17 shadow boxing fooling in summer. Several days/scenes. I noticed how Josh looked like the younger brother not really that interested in sparring boring slaps again and again and again with the older brother but unable to say anything.
TD leader 2024 (Hollins) vs 2023 (Diggs). I’m not sure there is any greater style, personality, blocking, and shoes

Run wildcat with REGGIE. No QB. No OL

What kind of pre season cluster will this be? One team intentionally fumbles and the other team afraid to jump on it!?

The only way to prevent 17 from running over people and killing himself— is to stop the temptation at the root with a better OL/TE. That’s the Beane/Allen/McD strategy is now in focus.

The two Jets “jump balls” for TD to Coleman and Cooper—these were 14 points. A year ago, one or both of those could/would have been dropped or even an INT in 2023

4 consecutive AFC East Championships ...
Many people have been made to look good after Beane took a tough, calculated risk on an inaccurate passer.

Hey Amari, No? Ok
I laughed. Not all 53 guys want to joke and mic.
Oh and I am surprised that didn’t get cut by the social media 18 yr old intern

Can they do one play O and D and forfeit?
just need to give 3rd string preseason time.
NE will intentionally give up. They have #1 draft. It’d be stupid to win. -

They will have an understanding, but you can’t give a player personnel power in their contract. How would that work if they disagree?
Mr. Roger’s neighborhood blowup based on his input. Disagreement is in every org and you work as peers. 17 had influence in 2024, big. If truly part of the process and “real input” then the outcome is usually pretty mutual agreed by decision time.

We haven’t had #1 draft 2024, #1 draft 2023, Coop, #1WR Shakir-ish, on the field tougher until now.
coop will be a surprise in a few weeks.

Brady is using Beanne Swiss army properly.
1) heavy package with Anderson wow OL62) Ty RB3, yah!
3) Shakira, his YAC don’t lie. WR3
4) Reggie. Josh butt. FB, really.
Four examples of using the right skills, right place, right BRADY-

Josh Allen’s contract extension is expected this spring, and I anticipate the team will negotiate another cap-friendly agreement. This would likely include provisions where Allen has a voice in shaping the offense and prioritizing offensive line. By structuring the deal this way, Allen positions himself to potentially earn more over two additional years later in his career while helping the team maintain financial flexibility, rather than forcing a deal that could strain the salary cap (room for OL, WR)
-
Buffalo finally has WR/TEs that can catch, high point, YAC, box out DBs, catch contested. It’s been a decade in waiting (and, no, Charles Clay doesn’t count!!!!)
Josh doesn’t have elite catchers but they’re collectively all “good/better” now.

It’s all premised upon O getting started early enough to partially mute opponents run game. Pretty convinced this is the “complementary football” we hear about.

On the Lighter Side: Shady McCoy piece on something that made him go "hmmmm" about Pats

Nefarious acts are usually successful only when very few people—say, 2 are in the know. For instance, if I commit a robbery alone, the chances of getting caught are low. Similarly, I can see how a Coordinator and 1 assistant could easily keep something hidden from both Tom and Bill, giving them complete deniability. They may suspect. A simple “wink, wink” with a suggestion like, “The DC/OC has a plan for this game,” could fly under the radar. Nobody would be the wiser, and nearly everyone involved would have plausible deniability.
And let’s not forget—there are tens of millions of dollars at stake here.
