This The ol’ ‘bend but don’t break’ defense sounds great on paper—let ’em get 3 and call it a win. But right now? This defense is less ‘bend but don’t break’ and more ‘bend, bend again, and then fold like a lawn chair at a BBQ.’
I liked his explanation. Basically, more people with influence and incentive to help his kids and Canada market. It could never really be about just money. Reminds me of Shark Tank—Shark need more invested thus incentivized helpers.
I don’t know if this was discussed.
why wouldn’t he just fake an ankle? He would get pay and sit.. “Ouch! my ankle”.
I guess he was making some kind of bizarre statement…
I thought the same. I’m not a McClappy superfan but he normally has often made successful changes at a half. As good as they are after half—he’s horrible in 2 min mgr
Bill’s girlfriend wanted to get accepted at UNC.
is he doing this to fit in with his girlfriend group?
I half joke. I don’t see it in his personality to teach like this
In playoffs, all are smart coaches. It’s no longer about BS McClappy summer team building…They scheme. Do you like McD against Harbaugh, Tomlin, Andy? Mcvey, Cambell, with split second decisions? Ah, no.
If the most epic fails in the Allen era are defensive blunders and your HC is a so called D genius…to the point they CHANGE THE OT rules. Seems like a clue that your Defensive HC is in over his head for a AFCC
Difference for Wildcard vs not = GM
Difference for AFCC vs wildcard = HC
17 is going to be wasted by middle rank HC. It’s the first time, I’ve truly believed this.
Sneak was stupid. Josh said something to coach “dude, why’d we run that?”
it’s just like 10 sec left in a game. You toss a couple balls into the EZ, you don’t run.
Don’t confuse gutsy and dumb. McD 4th 1 was gutsy (down 3). Dan missed SB visit tie on a 4 and 12. Just because last night barely worked, doesn’t make it smart.
McD needs to take this reckless behavior into account and scheme for it.
