9/25/22 Gameday Bills at Dolphins Pregame Thread

I simply don’t buy the “cautious” thing. this is a key AFCE competitor. Mitch is a big loss. -

That was brutal. Josh had to completely focus on not dropping the snap vs. a million other key reads. -
Hyde/Poy were orig. building blocks. This won’t be easy. Not sure I ever remember entire secondary out on this (or any) team. Where’s the 40 mph wind and snow when we need it?

Mafia descending on Miami, Phins fans not happy about it...
Since1981 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
B.S. 3-5M people, a couple universities hospitals research is expected. I call bull crap. Miami makes nothing, invents nothing, schools suck. Never heard anyone say it’s a great place raise a family. I have heard it’s a great place to go and die. P.S. probably a surge in remote workers! But, still, schools are horrific. -

Do they make, build, research, invent anything down there? (Besides gold chains, boob jobs). Seriously, what do they ADD to human society in S FLorida? Kind of lame really. -
Micah to IR (out for the year per his agent)

I had the same thought. Maybe both MDs had same message like “so, maybe 25% chance you get paralyzed but…”. While I have ZERO knowledge…lifelong devastating risks here -
Diggs on Hill. Oh wait, wrong Diggs errr, wait, maybe

Micah Hyde seeking 2nd opinion on neck injury
Since1981 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup. hyde is smart to get opinions. There are a lot of gray areas in health and smashing a suspect vertebrae into random things… -
Did anyone see what Hill + Waddle did for Tuafish? OBJ, yes, at good price/health. Secondaries would just order diapers instead of jocks against the Bills

How in the world do you stop this offense?
Since1981 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Double Diggs + stop long plays. make Josh 13+ plays slow, methodical / run plays. hope a mistake happens or impatience sets in. Don’t let him roll right. This has worked before. It’s not a super plan but it’s all a D can do. -
A Few Thoughts About the Titans Game, in no particular order
Since1981 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fins vs. Bills VERY over weighted case where D scheme, D coach decisions, will be the difference. Our #2's in secondary can be supported by scheme to hold them down. Our cover LBs will be key. Every BB fan and player knows what Hill YAC looks like, cough. -
A Nigerian dude called says your car warranty was taken hostage, you can send me butcoin and I’ll fix it. NFT, joke

Mac Tua Taylor Fitz vs. Josh Patrick TB12 Tua needs all 21 (O + D) above avg guys around him. Whereas Josh Patrick Tom elevate all players, both sides of ball. I think we have proof of the importance to keep swinging for “well above avg QB.” Until you get him. (Tua and Mac are not It)

Sean freaking McDermott...let's offense just do what they do...
Since1981 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD in-game has some bad moments (has he ever won a challenge!?) Beane brings the guys in (ala Josh, Miller) McDermott gets almost all credit for an ecosystem and environment that allows FREE GROWN MEN to want to join, stay and be their best self. We've heard this a few times too. -

I worry that in the biggest of games when a QB calls his own plays? They don't always process in the heat of the moment. Kelly calling plays when concussed....Today, Bills routinely in "the Olympic medal rounds". But to get an GOLD, you need that little edge that steady, smart, creative coach collaborating to call the events/plays brings. -

Injuries are hurting the offense flow. It will hurt the defense now -

Our 4 2 5 D is designed perfect against today’s passing league. It’s why I’m not worried about AFCE but run teams are more tuned against us. Hill/Waddle make Tuna a better passer

Remember the Davis Colts playoff toe drag swag plays? over and over!!—it felt like another entire year later before he was called upon much.
-
Count me as early, vocal “wind hand wringing” guy all last year. HOWEVER, this version of the Bills have shown it makes the other guys get one dimensional for D + Josh O seems okay vs the opposite QB (Mac)

If anyone wasn’t completely sure he was a dumbass after the 4th, he made sure we knew he was a dumb ass by calling bogus timeouts!??! He’s going to get fired quickly.
