Since1981 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Must win because a loss to Broncos and heat becomes unbearable. $8M/yr HC -

Building opinion that Josh is not committed to the Bills/football?
Since1981 replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2753233-panthers-fire-oc-mike-shula-and-qb-coach-ken-dorsey-after-loss-vs-saints Major slump in offense with panthers Dorsey. Hmmmmmmm🤔 “when asked about the team's lack of an identity he said, "you want to be able to understand this is who we are and this is what we do." -

Dorsey was fired during that debacle too. -

I don’t support building above avg 11+ D starters/cap in 2023 NFL. D and O as equal 50/50 is not wise in 2023. My favorite play in sports is a Safety but when was the last time?? Far better to skew 60-70% to O in 2023. As we all know, a QB/WR/O+ is the long run formula in 2023. rules etc have taken Safety and KO out of the game. Need to skew to O and leave old man ideas behind. -
Gopher in Bill Murry's Caddy Shack. The gopher emerges from underground, unharmed, and dances amid the smoldering ruins of the golf course as the credits roll.

Simms: Gabe Davis is a good player, but he's not a number two
Since1981 replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's why I would love a Reich/Fitz former QB. They had to make up for their lack of physical with mental. So much more proven than Dorksey ever has been (fired from Panthers) -

Might be cheap but it is the opportunity cost of him in the #2 position. Fact of the matter is that he is taking the #2 seat and routes. Therefore, someone else is not (e.g., shakir, kincaid, knox, TBD). He's pals with 17. A bigger OC mind/stature would override this friendship aspect. -
McClappy didn't like Daboll and Josh relationship. Remember, Josh and Daboll talked about each other consistently in the media. That is not happening today with Dorksey. Consider that the OC is in his ear on EVERY PLAY. I still think that is what Diggs was saying CIN playoff game "Yo! what are you TWO doing!!"

What is the dude telling him in his helmet speaker and/or is he no longer hearing the input. (ever have a boss that doesn’t know what’s going on? Or alternatively a boss that you don’t respect) -

Josh has said Gabe “the smartest guy on the field”. I’m smart too but doesn’t make me I’m a multi million W2. this team and Josh need a legit speed option to balance Diggs, stretch D. JBrown was that man. Gabe was a beneficiary. Not anymore. -
That’s crazy. Dorsey did before and was fired. Holy cow. “Panthers 28th in passing yards per game during the 2017 season. Cam Newton had his second straight down year” What is he 12? Bad take. 42 yr supposedly pro. He’s in over his head, just like if I was a CFO or opera singer.

This must be true. I just think the trio of McD Dorsey Allen do not function properly at all levels and you can’t fire 17. Chant fire McD New Year’s Eve game

McDermott answers why we stopped uptempo offense
Since1981 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Quality HC and OC flex to the assets on hand!!! Changing players to scheme is brain dead OC. I give total credit to McD for D flexibility after injuries. HUGE credit. However, he and Dorsey are incapable of doing the same adaptation in O -

We may be learning what bothered Stef after all bengals playoff game. Broncos loss, then HC doesn’t make it to Thanksgiving and/or Diggs calls in sick. -
McDermott would make a fine DC or accountant (W&M). He’s also responsible for Dorsey. Franchise is starting to lose hearts and minds. At least Chain/Fitz made me smile as overachievers.

Letting Josh coach himself was the incorrect decision
Since1981 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dorsey. Classic Peter Principle ”people tend to rise to "a level of incompetence” promoted based on their success in previous jobs until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent“ -
How hard is it to fire HC/OC? HC is a wealthy man now. Let him go. And, fu@k consistency!? Team is not consistent now. Tear it up.
-
Dorsey called that play to make it APPEAR he has some creativity or thought. In the end, you don't call a big arm FLEE FLICKER that close to the end zone!! There's not enough room. How long does it take to realize that Murry is a good support? He can pass block for Josh, run the ball, run block for Josh. D doesn't know what kind of play it will be. I like Cook but the aggressive CIN DL needed Murry. Took 3Q to figure this out.

JA17--has had so little coaching historically until Daboll (Palmer). A couple years and POOF. Team needs HC/OC with high stature or achievement or proven ability (some combination). Not some in-house wannabe. Continuity iNOT what we want. Josh is a $250M man and you can't have some schlep newbie making $200K telling him where he is wrong or needs advice he must hear. Team needs someone with stature, achievement, ability to interview and have our $250M Man respect and listen. Oh yeah, and OC shouldn't suck either.
