Brown is a good run blocker and can get down field and sustain the block, Q better normally in pass protection, but we know how that went last week. If healthy, Brown got to go and let them run it down their throat's.

If he does not start this week, we need to consider whether Beane and McDermott are up to the task and let them go.

We just need to run some 2 back sets with Gilliam and 2 TE's. Heavy sets and pound the ball to soften up the defense then let Allen do his thing. Right now there is no play action pass. Gilliam is a super talented receiver and blocker. Lets get THAT involved. Need draw plays and a ton more screens with Diggs and McKenzie. Defenses are playing pass coverage only against us and for some reason JA cannot accept the check downs (As he did early in the season), with heavy sets he is forced to use check downs. Titans almost beat the Chiefs last night without a QB and I will argue they only lost due to the Refs.

We need to use Gilliam more and have 2 back sets to help with pass protection and power runs, we have the personnel to do it, this would take a lot of presser off of JA. This is my biggest gripe with the offense, the play action pass is ineffective the last few games. The defenders go right to JA and don't even think the handoff is happening.
