Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and a great defense. Donald currently out so that could change things. -

Sorry Bills fans. You get to have more stress. Setting up Rodriguez for a Cody Parkey impersonation perhaps. -

Smart timeout. Maybe that will get reviewed now. -
So, we're rooting for Pittsburgh next week, right?

I simply can't root for the Ravens. I'll just have to root for the Titans to beat the Ravens and then upset KC and then come to Heinz for the championship game after we flush the Browns and stun the red hot Bills. 😜😛 -

It's been a weird year for the Steelers. When the Bills caught them at the end of the 3 in 12 stretch, IMO, they were more out of sorts due to the on again/off again moving of the games as opposed to the 3 games in a short time span. After all, with TNF, 3 in 12 is not all that uncommon. That said, the Bills really started hitting their stride after their lousy first half in that game. At this moment, I don't see a more complete team in the NFL than Buffalo. It's nice to see Buffalo good again. They were so irrelevant for so long, I forgot I liked them. They disappeared for 20 years like my baseball Pirates did. -

Steelers officially playing backups vs Browns

Gotta give Cleveland an edge in this game, mostly due to the defensive starters the Steelers are sitting. Still playing with the playoff machine to pick my poison as a fan in regards to playoff matchups. -
Mike Tomlin over or underrated
blackngolddigger replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depends on whose rating you go by. I consider him to be slightly above average. He keeps the Steelers competitive but doesn't give them any special advantage beyond their talent level. -
The last couple weeks of tough talk Tomlin was a fairly rare thing. He's usually not quite so negative. No idea of it's Ben not wanting to sneak or the coaches are not wanting to call it. Years ago, when Haley was the OC, it was said he wouldn't call the QB sneak. IIRC. Saw you're parrot story. Funny. We're a spoiled fan base, at least as far as the NFL and NHL go. MLB is a different story. 😡 When Ben's gone in the very near future, it's gonna get ugly unless we luck into a good QB.

They may have felt that taking those risks was their best bet with what they had left to work with on defense. But yep, once the Bills adjusted and handled it better in the second half, game over. No idea about what injuries the Bills have faced this year and completely agree the team has to work with what they have. It's part of the game and why one week can be so different from the next in the NFL. Ben has never been fast. He's always looked slow to me, but he was evasive. Allen has more career rushing yards in 3 years than Ben has in 17. I think if they had even an average run game, he would look a lot better and less old. Yep, the offense is a mess. No idea if or how it can be fixed.
