  1. No way a doctor lets him come back in if he is anything like he was after the play or walking off. Dude was all sorts of wobbly
  2. Tua hurt on an everyday play. Obviously nothing serious from Milano, and Tua certainly wasn’t trying to sell anything. unfortunate for the dolphins. Tua shouldn’t come back if he was that wobbled
  3. If this is overturned I don’t understand football. If that ball “moves” because of the ground it is as minimal as can be. If the ground moves the bottom hand so the ball shivers that’s not incomplete imo
  4. Its the perfect example because it was LEGAL during that point in time. The rule was changed because of the tactic. Are we really trying to say "Rarely called rules shouldnt be followed and dont alleviate an excuse I'm trying to use to point out a Bill's blunder?" Because I think that's ignorant. Are there things that happen during the game that MIGHT pass the refs eye due to it being a weird rule by nature? I'm sure it happens. Do you gameplan to purposefully break rules and hope the ref doesn't call it? That's loser mentality. Especially when you plan to blatantly break them in a game deciding moment. How about the refs calling unsportsmanlike on the Bears for using a towel to dry the field yesterday. We could be talking about how the refs called a rarely called rule, some would say obscure, and it had a big impact on the game (cost them a chance at 3 points). Let's not overthink everything for a motive. Play good football when you need to.
  5. I think both Allen and Crowder could have done better. Allen forced the pass, and Crowder slowed down at the end of his route and allowed the coverage to catch up
  6. He is great on short cuts as well because he doesn’t require extreme separation. His hands attack the ball, so he can use his reach to pluck the ball. Difference between him and someone like Mackenzie.
  7. Wow, McVay stating this was a humbling experience and night. We hurt that team physically and mentally tonight
  8. If that’s the bar then we can call our Edmunds, benford, Hyde, Milano and Jackson. guy is the best WR in the game
  9. Get your personnel fresh for third down to seal the game? Time-out worth spending!
  10. I think Edmunds has been very strong all game. Surveying, his height forcing Stafford to float across the middle which has caused incompletions and interceptions. the defense might not have any holes…
  11. 4 turnovers, especially two fumbles will keep this team honest throughout the week. Gives them a clear focus point when people try to inflate their ego.
  12. Stafford checking down due to this dline getting pressure all day. That will be EXTREMELY impactful if consistent this season
  13. Stafford trying too hard to compensate for him being sacked SIX times
  14. Calm drive here - get at least 3 or take 4 minutes off the clock, and we are looking better
  15. Blocking VERY well off of motion.
  16. Depth of this team will be key. We play hard every single down. Rotation will be even more prevalent. Von was off the field for the first half of the drive, comes in on second down for the sack and then plays third and long. just drool worthy how Beane has built this team
  17. All the people calling for Cole forgot his deflection being a pick 6 3 seasons ago in week 1. Fluky play, just rebound. We know we can move the ball on offense.
  18. I'd rather pay Knox 13.5 a year as a guy who fits the mold of the offense and is well liked compared to Logan Thomas/Uzomah/Ertz who are all making 8-10 a year. Knox is young, a strong blocker, serious red zone threat, and runs inside drag routes extremely well. It exploits linebackers and gives us serious advantage.
  19. Tremaine Edmunds. Need his width in the middle to hopefully give that extra quarter second to the dline to penetrate. If he is not in position, defense opens the middle for Kupp and Higbee, and we let chunk plays kill the game. If he plays strong ball, I think we win.
  20. Bills coaching and schemes will still get them 6-8 wins this season, but New England really needs to get some difference making talent on their offense. They need 2 WRs, a QB with athleticism, and another TE option (Smith was terrible last year). The question then becomes, will their defense continue to be strong as they wait for offensive talent? Barmore looks great, but their secondary is getting worse, and they are relying on young LBs who I dont think are spectacular. Will be an interesting year for the Patriots
  21. I thought they were clear that they didn’t look at it as a crime. It was a thorough investigation of an accusation. Some may bleed the meanings of those works together, but I think the Bills were feeling these were accusations where no crime had been defined because no legal charges had been brought. Just my opinion though, you could be correct
  22. Reporters were annoying the entire press conference. Constantly trying to get Beane or McD to say something negative about Matt or the accuser. The Bills judged these items to be accusations, they had not reached the point of charges, they did just as much review as any other team in the league, they talked to Matt about this, and they made the decision to move forward. Does that make them perfect? No. But reporters almost complaining that they didnt reach out to the accuser when there weren't charges is a joke. Media looking for a story instead of reporting the one in front of them. Beane sounded genuine to both Matt and the accuser. It screamed to me "We told Matt if he is truly innocent, go figure this crap out and we will follow the results of the case accordingly". Fair play to the Bills for handling this with class and precision.
  23. I think most star QBs on big contracts would pay 5 million a year to get 11 games off.... Suspension seems about right, but $ fine is too low. Needed to make it closer to 15-20 million, especially since he will be making 46 A YEAR. Shoot, if you asked me to take 10% less to work half the year? I'd sign up in a heartbeat.
  24. The most interesting thing about camp vs. in game - the Bills defense is difficult to gameplan against. We have ALWAYS had success against passers who 1) are not elite athletically and 2) Cannot process defenses extremely quickly. We FEAST on sub-par QB play. The only games we lost last year due to strong QB play were to Brady and Mahomes. I feel for Tua, Wilson, and Jones. They simply dont have the talent to effectively manage against this defense. If our offense is AVERAGE in game, we go 6-0 in division. Maybe 5-1 if we have a stinker
  25. Guy cant read defenses and tucks it down. Allen was like that too as a rookie, but usually QBs that can't make reads and are too conservative never last. You can't build consistency through them.
