  1. Cosell made an interesting point, WRs tend to fall in the draft almost every year. I think about the Jeudy draft, Lamb and Jeudy all fell 5-7 spots from their rankings. Garrett Wilson fell a few spots to the Jets in 22 WR wasn't a pick until 20 last year. Not that it's a fact, but those mocks that have Odunze/Nabers/Harrison ALL going by pick 9... they may not be incredibly accurate to how teams draft. Maybe one falls to 13-15 potentially, and then a team makes a move.
  2. Whether or not they are right, Beane and co BELIEVE they can fill Diggs role and production within the next season. When you think about it, Diggs came in at 26/27 years old as a prime breakout WR, and had 3 years of top tier impact. Then he starts to fall off, Brady can't find a way to make him explode in production, and now we have an unhappy Diggs who is over 30 and Beane made the decision to move on. My guess, they trade up and make a play for Brian Thomas. MAYBE they try to pull an Allen move and make two trades to get to 6 with the Giants for Nabers... Either way, the Bills believe they have an ability to use Kincaid/Cook/WR Drafted/etc. to make this team's offense productive.
  3. Beane needs to earn his money now. Go get a top 4 WR in this draft (Harrison/Nabers/Odunze/Thomas Jr) Grab another in the 3rd via trade back in the second. Maybe a Legette falls. Go into the season with a WR room locked down for the next 3 years and build a damn championship team
  4. A lot of people that were trashing Diggs as a non-impact player in the back half of last year are coming out now and upset that we traded our star talent. I loved Diggs, but I understand why he was moved. Any disruption/age/injury/cap implications are valid
  5. Not that I would be a fan of it, but having 2 seconds next year might give us enough confidence to move our 1st next year. 28+ First for Brian Thomas Jr?
  6. Beane doesn't rush to decisions. This move was calculated, and likely was dependent on other actions as well (White being gone, Morse cut, Dawkins extension).
  7. IF he has interest, he would need to bulk up another 40-50 pounds, and show he has upper body strength to match his light feet. As you mentioned, that's at least 2 years before you even have a bottom of the roster guy. Another 1-2 for any chance at playing time
  8. Dobbins doesn't move the needle that much to a team like KC. They were effective with Mckinnon and CEH ran hard (although he, like Dobbins, has been underwhelming since coming into the league). Dobbins, with several injuries to his body over the last few years.... I dont think he matters much if he goes to KC.
  9. He won’t face jail time But as you said, he is stupid and he needs to evaluate his inner circle. Can’t be an idiot more than a few times
  10. What need has there been to bring in safeties other than potential round flyers? Also, both Hamlin and Johnson who were drafted were the best safeties taken at their pick and on in each draft… unless you consider Epps a great improvement to Johnson, which really is a minor point. Beane have shown CONSISTENT ability to not only draft talent, but to develop useful NFL players. Add to that their ability to evaluate talent already in the league? I don’t worry about the safety position
  11. Want nothing but the best for Tre, I'm hoping he goes to the Raiders. Like what Pierce is doing over there.
  12. Rapp and Blackmon were always the budget starting safeties I would target in FA year one of my Madden franchise. Blackmon is a good athlete, and put him in with a guy like McD, and I think he could be a long term option for this team.
  13. Franklin always popped on film. His ability to catch and turn caught my eye. If he was sick/hurt at the combine, and the Bills were to still take him at 28, I'd assume his private workout not only went well, but really well.
  14. You sound like a chipotle scarfing buffoon! Chic Fil A is some fine quality dining
  15. I mean, per our scouting this year, combine visits, senior bowl viewing - its not hard to see a clear pattern that they are taking a long hard look at the WRs in this class. Couple that with the clear reports that Beane wanted Addison last year And that they didnt invest big money into Davis to be their long term 2 And that they have even said adding WR talent in the room and getting younger is a must...... I mean, be pessimistic all you want. But all signs point in the other direction
  16. We will have youth at WR2, WR4/5 and potentially WR6. Hollins will be WR4orWr5 depending on draft talent
  17. Mack isn't a terrible receiver. He is a plus blocker, and can take a DB deep if needed. Is he special? No. But I consider him an upgrade to Sherfield. A better blocker for sure. I expect them to add 2 receivers in the draft, and they will sign another 2 UDFAs. We will carry 11-13 WRs into camp...
  18. Too expensive for him
  19. People are shocked to learn these guys taking hits all day aren’t the most eloquent on Twitter explaining their every meaning… how about we don’t worry about what people post and instead focus on the actions. Jeez
  20. Its deep for what we need. I dont think we are shelling out big deals for a young safety - we likely will take the vet option for a 1-2 year deal, maybe draft a safety as well. There's lots of opportunity to pull a leonard Floyd deal for a vet safety this year
  21. He is a guy who can take those WR screens we run and go. Also with that size I’d hope he could be a plus blocker like Davis is
  22. I think that was due to the first throw being bad
  23. Legette is a freak. A legette freak
