  1. Could they bring in Dorsey to try to implement an offense that could be decent? I still think Dorsey has talent, just needed a fresh start
  2. They are in the mindset let’s get a top 12 pick, bring Rodgers in next season, and hope
  3. Even the GD robots know we can’t run the ball well…
  4. I mean, it’s not hard to see that it’s not just Dorsey that was the issue. He was a scapegoat, but a valid scapegoat. you can replace Dorsey, and if you like Brady trust that your team won’t become much worse. You can’t replace Allen, Davis, Cook, etc and expect their replacements to be better. Which is why I consider this move an official wake up call to everyone else in the building that no one is safe. It starts with Dorsey, and everyone else could be the next one I’m sure he brings it up a bit with his brother, but Diggs seems like a guy who won’t bother with something that isn’t a real problem. His brother tweeting something isn’t a problem for Diggs, it’s an annoyance. I just don’t think he cares about that stuff.
  5. Diggs gave the professional answer. He isnt a guy for lip service. The guy is a top player at his position, and is the farthest thing from a diva. Those that get worked up are people who put personal feelings ahead of winning. Diggs comes to play every damn week. We have seen nothing less. He is here, and it’s the rest of the team’s responsibility to do their part to win
  6. Just putting this out there - Stefan Diggs is one of the most honest and clear leaders I’ve seen in this league in a long time. his presser today was great to see. He puts all the BS aside. Pushed back on media narratives, was clear he supports whoever is in charge, was clear that the team wasn’t executing, wants to win, is invested in Buffalo and said “I’m not in charge of my brother, and when have I ever said I wanted out” his interaction at the end with a reporter was great. Its a must watch if you have 15 minutes
  7. I’m not as down on the Bills as most, I’d like to see a 10+ point victory, maybe something like 31-14 where the Bills get the ball to their playmakers and play a sound offensive game.
  8. The necessary move to make. The Bills are taking the first step in the process to cleaning house. If Brady comes in and they turn it around, great. If they dont, I expect McD to be gone, and the Bills become the hottest coaching ticket out there. Something had to give, and this was the first step
  9. An absolute classic video. Remember my dad showing this to my brothers back in the early days of youtube... steak sandwiches for the wife and I. Maybe a fresh labatt for the game if things are going well, maybe a dozen if things aren't
  10. Every player is a complimentary player bar the absolutely best of the best in the league.
  11. 3 and outs are a component of failure, but the Bills were actually best in the NFL in 3and out rate through September. I couldn’t find stats through today. schemes and packages are reliant on a combination of factors, one of which is field position. When you are backed inside of your own 10, you don’t open the playbook like you would starting at your own 40. I’ve commented on goal line plays in other threads, but that comes down to execution, and the last one we complained about was a fault of Allen’s. However, that’s a small component of a much larger issue, which is this defense not creating turnovers, pressure, or 3 and outs. And that can directly be contributed to the losses of White, Milano, Jones. Those three being out puts this team in a terrible position moving forward. good offenses don’t move the ball regardless of field position. The BEST offenses have the BEST chance of moving the ball regardless of field position. And the Bills are a good offense, but not the best. Of Knox is healthy and Allen isn’t nursing a shoulder issue? Maybe we are top 3. But right now we are above average offensively in talent and average in results. When Oliver is paired with a solid DT partner, he is a force on the line
  12. Take a look at the field position of the Bills offense before and after these injuries, and then we can discuss the further nuances of the transitional impacts between an offense and defense. long story short, the Bills have been hemmed in their own territory, with worse time of possession, and as a result we cannot put teams on their heels in any way
  13. This team was 3-1 and demolished their last 3 opponents before the injuries. They were the top defense in the league and had the second highest scoring offense. But don’t let facts get in the way of narratives
  14. Good week to do it leading up to a below average opponent. Beat up on the Broncos and ride momentum into the rest of the season
  15. To me Cincy is not in the top tier. I still think they are not in that tier with Baltimore/KC/Philly/SF. Those four teams to me are a clear step above the rest of the league. Yes, SF has lost a few games, but when they are healthy they are very very good. I think the Seahawks are overrated, they are a good but not great team. Dont see them anywhere near a super bowl contender. Jets/Browns/Pit are AFC teams who are punching above their weight right now. They aren't playoff teams IMO. If I were to pick the playoff teams for each conference: AFC: KC Baltimore Jags Dolphins Cincy Bills Chargers NFC: Eagles 49ers Lions Saints Cowboys Seahawks Vikings? At the end of the day, I really only give 3-4 teams a real shot at the Superbowl. KC Baltimore Eagles 49ers Maybe Cincy or Buffalo IF their teams are firing and healthy. But I dont really think they will get there.
  16. He is avoiding unnecessary contact. I still think his shoulder is hurt MORE than he is letting on. I also think the offense is designed to try to limit him on the ground, by giving him checkdowns or keeping the RB in to pass protect more. Regardless, we know in the past he has been successful with his legs. I'm sure we will see it come to life in games when needed
  17. Regarding Allen not hitting intermediate/deep throws, I really wonder if his shoulder is limited his ability to put touch on the ball right now. You can almost see a change in how he is trying to get the ball out when his is changing arm angle to loft a pass over. It's why I think this INT Saturday night was an underthrow.
  18. Yea I absolutely agree. We honestly should have executed better, but I dont really put it on Dorsey. I think that's on Allen for making the wrong read and then giving credit to the defense of the Bucs who did well on 4th
  19. What was the lost payout??
  20. I've mentioned it 5-7 times across several threads over the last 12 hours, the 3rd down RPO would have a better outcome if Allen didnt give the ball to Murray. Allen had one on one with the corner if he takes the ball. And the 4th down play was a great switch-off from LB to Corner. It wasn't my favorite play, but the defense did incredibly well there. Dorsey wasn't perfect, but he was damn good in scheming a game we all wanted. Everyone said before the game "get tempo, no huddle, spread the ball around, use Kincaid more, use Allen's legs" And ALL of that was achieved. Like, every single one. Did we play conservative on 4th and short? Yes. Did we not execute at the goal line? Yes. But my god, people want to switch their narratives every week on what's acceptable from this team. Allen had 365 all purpose yards, Cook ran for 4.8 a carry. Davis/Shakir/Diggs/Kincaid all had good games.
  21. Kincaid has very good hands and strong footwork. Id like him to add 7-10 pounds to be able to bang around more at the line, whether in blocking or fighting for extra yardage. The best thing from yesterday was watching him break away from his route on his TD and run parallel with Josh to give him an option. Josh hit him in stride, and Kincaid could walk into the endzone. The more he learn to do that, and the more Josh trust him, the better he will produce. Really like what he can become.
  22. I don't disagree with preferring Cook. Just acknowledging some of the components that led to the result.
  23. That was a design RPO, and if you watch the play, Allen had one on one with a corner at the edge if he took it himself. Instead he gave to Murray, who was stuffed. I dont hate the design, I hate the execution. And to add, Harris gets that carry if he isn't hurt. Murray was the 3rd down and pass pro option. Harris was always the short yardage guy
  24. Personally, I look at 5 or 6 things before that 3rd and short on the goal line as the reason why this game was close at the end. Dorsey wasn't perfect, but he was good in my opinion. Also - on that shotgun play, Allen has a much better chance to score if he keeps the ball there. He had one on one at the edge with a Bucs safety. I think Allen made the wrong move there giving it to Murray
  25. It's hard for me not to give the game ball to the OC who gameplanned up Shakir to have 90+ years, David for 87 and a TD, Diggs 9 catches, Kincaid 65 and a TD, and Allen 365 total yards 3 tds. If 5-6 players are showing well on the offense, Dorsey is a reason for that. He wasn't perfect, but he was really good tonight
