  1. Then he puts up the greatest QB season ever. You are talking about 5700 total yards and 68 touchdowns from him. That would be the single best season in history for almost any player ever.
  2. Live in Tampa, wife's family are die hard bucs fans, and generally have been very fair in their criticisms of their players. THEY HATED SMITH. HATED. He was consistently the weakness on that line, and it got to the point that there were very strong rumors of some serious mental struggles for him last year. Bucs fans were happy to see him go, and I expect him to struggle with the Chiefs as well.
  3. I think particular and individual games have too much nuance to try to build a team around. The Sabres dove into a team building pit of despair because of a single game (Lucic hitting Miller). over the course of last year, the bills were a top 5 offensive scheme. And that’s with Tommy Sweeney and Quinten Morris as our TE2. When you add in a pure pass catcher and dynamic route runner, we instantly upgrade a spot which previously wasn’t even staffed with NFL talent.
  4. I think the team even in its current state will have no issues creating mismatches and opportunities. We were after all, a top offense last year. Health of the team Will matter. kincaid is a greater mismatch than almost any other offensive weapon in this draft. And, we addressed a big hole on this team in our TE2. classic value/need pick. That’s what happens in a weak draft
  5. Pros: quite lateral pivot Good upright slot stance and kick high points the ball well and will attack it runs VERY good Kelce style curl option routes cons: Blocking is poor not incredibly thick to handle rushers can he develop better mid route ability?
  6. People saying the Bills panicked… take a look at the Cowboys. They were going Kincaid the WHOLE way. Bills jumped em and killed their pick.
  7. Dorsey likes to run a heavy set, but think of a kick out audible to let Kincaid move into the slot and have a heavy LB try to handle him in coverage, with Cook coming out of the backfield. dorseys challenge will be to not gimmick the offense too much. But this team will have serious options game to game
  8. Jump Dallas for a TE? Once Giants didn’t take one, maybe they see a big value opportunity
  9. Vikings have decided to bring absolutely no defense to the field on Sundays lol
  10. I have no issues with a TE at 27. Teams are going small, bring in another big blocker and receiver to challenge
  11. "Also, if we dont draft offense in the first two picks of this upcoming draft, I am going to be upset and I will make sure this season is a failure. I already concede that Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback, and get mad at the 2017 draft when the Bills decided to trade back for 27 and a 2018 first instead of picking him. White and myself are an obvious downgrade to him, so its a shame that I have to lead the team that made such a poor decision"
  12. McD is a confident guy who has developed every year as a HC. If he (as one of the top defensive minds in football) wants to take on getting this defense to the level it can play at, by all means.
  13. So we just ignore all of the injuries to CORE players throughout the year? Let me throw this at you sweetpie: Hyde, long term injury poyer, long term injury allen, 4 week injury (that many said carried through the entire year) white, injured most of year, hamlin, nothing else to add Phillips, long term injury Daquan Jones, injured to end year Oliver, injured to end year benford, injured throughout year dawkins, injuries doyle, injured for year Von, inured for year when you have CORE injuries like that, players get thrust into situations that they are not used to, which leads to uncommon physical and mental fatigue. Everyone made comments about our injury report looking as good as it had leading into the Bengals game, but don’t believe it. The team was still dealing with a slew of injuries. Combine that with the two games in Detroit due to the winter storm, the Hamlin situation, the Miami game to start the year, the wild card game where the team started to look disorganized, and it isn’t a stretch to say the team was fatigued from an eventful season Did they not perform their best with Cincy? Absolutely. But there are obvious connections between the events throughout the season and potential of fatigue both mentally and physically. I don’t just chalk everything up to “they suck and are weak”. I use my brain
  14. I think that’s an oversimplification of a really nuanced situation. the Bills team went through a more tumultuous season then any I can remember, along with an incredibly grueling schedule as well. The team looked like they lost steam after the hot start in the wild card game, and that obviously carried over to the Bengals game. The coaches impact in two ways - 1) mid week prep and coordination and 2)in game management. I personally put a lot more weight into mid week prep than I do the in game impact a coach makes. how many times do you see a coach bring the entire team together to address a situation in game? That’s a halftime closed door situation usually. But I haven’t seen it happen on the sideline. If you do see sideline conversations happening, it’s usually the team captains. frankly, this team really struggled with execution throughout the entire season. You could point to a LOT of execution breakdowns that were huge, and the bengals game was a culmination of those errors and struggles. I don’t blame the coaches all that much for our struggles in that game, I blame the players who were likely exhausted and strained from a long long season
  15. This guy moves better than Isiah, catches better than Gabe, and can actually run a route well. I expect him to do very well this season if Allen learns to trust him.
  16. David is an ELITE linebacker. He allows Devon White to play the way he does - downhill, attacking football. David can cover incredibly well, and is a sure tackler. He would do a fantastic job in this defense, as we force our MLB to dissect and manage this defense play to play. He would be a top target on a one or two year deal while his body is up to the task
  17. I have no negative feelings towards Tremaine. Was a good player while here. I’d take that money too if I was him, he will be 29 when the deal is done and be ready for another 80+ million before retiring with almost 200 in career earnings Good for him
  18. Reid is spectacular in his play design and ability to confuse a defense. He creates easy initial reads, and safe second reads. I really think Kelce is not the go to first read on most Chiefs plays (outside of the goal line), but he is a clearly a designed second read where Mahomes knows he can get the ball to most of the time. It almost forces the defense to acknowledge everyone around their best player without having the ability to hone in on him. Reid is just a hall of fame coach. Of course I'd love to have him as the BIlls HC, but that's not how this game works. McD needs to continue to learn and develop, and I know Sean has a long career as a HC ahead of him.
  19. He is, but let’s not act like he was his superhuman self tonight. Reid calls some spectacular motions in the short game and gave Mahomes wide open options at the goal line. Bolton deserved the MVP over Mahomes imo
  20. I should have said press man, sorry! Not soft man with a 10 yard cushion
  21. Philly had no idea what to do when the chiefs started motioning their outside receiver. The moment they finally decide to play man? Refs call a BAD hold to give the chiefs the game. just sad frankly. Makes you hate the NFL. Now I need to listen to people saying any flag within two minutes should be reviewed or something it’s a joke
  22. I mean I thought we were playing some damn football. Not touch butt
  23. Jesus lord almighty This is a 12-13 win team year over year barring major injury. Let's not forget, we lost 3 games by a COMBINED 8 points. This team was a kneel down or 4th down redzone conversion from being 15-1. And that's without Hyde the entire year, without White for most of the year, without Miller for the back half of the year, with an injured Allen for 4 weeks, banged up Poyer, banged up Dawkins to start the year, first year OC, Hamlin situation, etc. Like we should be semi EXCITED about how this year went with all of the crap we dealt with.
  24. What's your definition of significant?
