Keith Ellison was just ahead of his time! He'd be a star in today's NFL! lol

They're the 2020 Steelers and 2021 Cardinals. I think they'll still win that division but will be a quick exit in the playoffs. Man, we should have ran them out of the building last week.

This team has played 10 games — primarily against playoff teams — and is like a half dozen plays away from being 10-0. And that's with half of the starting defense missing considerable time due to injury. Let's maybe take about 30% off the top in terms of worry. The offense will get humming again.

I mean, McDermott went 9-7 with a pretty bad roster in 2017. I'd argue that that 2017 roster was on par with Marrone's 2014 roster. I find it interesting that a lot of fans default to the assumption that players become all-pro's, pro bowlers, etc. because they are automatically good players. I believe that it's more likely that players become all-pros and pro bowlers due to a combination of their natural abilities, coaching, and the system that they play — with the latter two having a significant impact. Would Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde be All-Pros if they never signed with the Bills and played under McDermott? What about Matt Milano? Would he be a top 5 off-ball Linebacker without the coaching he received in Buffalo? These are rhetorical questions. But I don't think it's as simple as saying McDermott is wasting all-world talent. I think it's fair to say that McDermott and his system are a big reason why we have pro-bowlers and all-pro caliber players to begin with.

I can't recall there being a more challenging gauntlet of a schedule than what the Bills have had — and still have — to go through this year. That said, if the defense can somehow get healthy and remain healthy, and the offense cuts down the turnovers, this team can win out. I still believe that when they play their A-game, there's not a better team in the league.

The Bills lost yesterday because… (karma reasons only)

This is the gut punch that I didn't need today... but definitely deserved. I'll do better. -

I made Buffalo wings before the game. The last time I made Buffalo wings was before the divisional round game against KC. Safe to say that I'll never, ever be making Buffalo wings again. Hell, I'll probably never even eat a Buffalo wing again. -
they also needed a last second FG to beat andy frickin dalton, beat bridgewater by a score, needed to comeback from 10 down in the 4th on the vaunted hieneke led offense last week after heineke completely melted down.... they've faced ONE squad with a winning record that actually fielded their starting qb(eagles) and they got their teeth kicked in. The game is plenty winnable with keenum. literally every other game the vikings have stumbled through as shown that. .... oh then theres barely scrapping by the bears earlier in the season while fields still looked like a steaming pile of donkey sh** this vikings squad reminds me of the 2020 stillers that had the luxury of playing 5 or 6 backups on their way to being 11-0 and then completely folded down the stretch when the 4 leaf clovers ran out. 100% this.

How much on Sunday will be an evaluation of Brandon Beane?
MPL replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Little to none. I would wager that the fan bases of approximately 28.4 franchises would view Beane as a significant upgrade over their current GM. -
The Bills are being punished by the football gods for not bringing back the 1990s throwbacks this year, while the Giants are being rewarded.

Eagles, Ravens, and Dolphins getting better on Defense. Feeling like we need oline help more than anything else.

Could it possibly be both? As in, Allen is a generational talent that, with Daboll, was able to realize his fullest potential and continue to have success post-Daboll?
