  1. Eagles are in salary cap trouble, this equates to a salary dump so unless a bid war starts the compensation will be low. If you could get him for a late round pick on the understanding he takes a pay cut sure. But that's alot to ask of a player, only thing I will say is the Bills are a good team so more likely to happen for us than a team that hasn't proven they can win.
  2. Cost of winning and also with last year's losses it was bound to happen. Though if they keep winning I could see it continue to go up.
  3. It's not that I don't think Miller is good, but I wouldn't want to pay him. He would probably get over paid slightly just off name alone.
  4. Probably not that they don't think he's worth retaining, just not on his current contract. They overpaid him, cap goes down they can't afford him now. I would take him on a 1 year prove it deal and probably let him walk regardless of the outcome, since he already showed he slacks up when he gets paid.
  5. Carl Lawson should be the goal. May not happen but I would have to be told no.
  6. He's well worth his salary. He is by far our best pass rusher and we are not breaking the bank for him.
  7. I don't think he's top 2 rounds but you guys are a bit harsh on a guy who averaged 5+ yards a carry until Mike leach and the air raid showed up. In 2019 he was north of 6 a carry for 1300+ yards and 10 TDs, All In the SEC. Also he proved to be a solid receiver out of the backfield in the air raid. Not saying draft him or whatever, but he will definitely go before the 7th lol.
  8. Schwartz is a name that jumps off the page. He's a utility guy like a Mckenzie, track speed and shifty. Probably 4th round or lower if I had to guess, but could be a good returner/jet sweep kinda guy. If he gets a lane he's gone.
  9. Hill was always a solid player, struggled in big games but his supporting cast wasn't great. I would like him but not sure I would go at him in the first 3 rounds
  10. Dak puts up big numbers but his win totals are lacking, 40-24 I think. Not bad and he is a good QB, he just isn't on Mahomes level. I honestly would let him test the waters with an opportunity to match whatever he can get. I'm not sure if they have that ability but if they do that's what I would do.
  11. It's usually a marketing tool honestly. The girls get paid low wages but it was a way to get your name/face/talent out there, no other reason to do it for what they were paid. Is not a positive in marketing anymore so that's a bust and the girls complain about the wages. So I would agree at this point it's a dead issue.
  12. Condolences on your loss, she sounds like she was a wonderful mother. My mother is a Patriots fan so I never really rated for her team.
  13. I think it would be smart talent/experience wise. Lawrence has has not proved he can play in the NFL (obviously), but of course we all expect he can. Rookie QBs can take time and Deshaun is ready now, which will get Urban where he wants to be quicker. Houston would get a QB that doesn't hate them. The cons I see, well everyone wants the QB on a cheap rookie deal and the Jags would miss out on that. Also the Texans would be trading him to a division rival. So a few hurdles but I don't think it's outlandish or unreasonable.
  14. That's just a simple federal crime vs general public crime. I get what you're saying but I do believe when it involves violence against fellow human beings it should be elevated to a new level.
  15. It amazes me how we lock addicts up and basically turn a relative blind eye to sexual predators (Pedophiles included). They always get a super light sentence like all they did was knock over a 7/11 with a gun. The victims are stuck with distrust and fear for life, and I'm not a "oh my feelings" guy but that is a big ordeal.
  16. Most wouldn't agree, which is OK, but I would look at LB and CB at 30 hoping a player is there. Big body DT would be on that list but I'm not sure any of them are worth #30 in this draft. If none of those make sense I would take a physical interior OL. Alvin Kamara or CMC would be highly frustrated behind this line on inside runs.
  17. Well, he had an unregistered gun which usually means you have prior or you don't want anyone to know you have it, or you just simply didn't do what you was supposed to as far as registering it. Not judging him just saying one of those 3 are true. I live in Alabama so gun laws here are extremely relaxed (which I enjoy) I will avoid anti-gun/pro-gun speak. I grew up on the not so fortunate side so I do understand how easy it is to make a huge mistake just doing what everyone you know does.
  18. I actually see Fields sliding, without a combine people will be gun shy. He had a lackluster year at Georgia (not his fault I know but it's on his resume), a great year at OSU then last year with Covid and all he didn't really do all that well if you take the Clemson game away. I know if Surtain Jr slid to 19-20 range I would love buffalo to go get him.
  19. It sounds about right, smaller cap smaller salary. Not sure many stars that still produce will be cut but mid level solid starters will be bludgeoned.
  20. I have a 2013 Boss 302 track car that sees more garage time than track time, if this happens I'll be so mad lol. Of course I would fix it and move on, but madly lol.
  21. Your statement is definitely truthful, usually when we interact with people on a personal level we get along fine. When we have preconceived ideas of people from outside forces things can get silly. Hopefully we eventually learn to talk to our neighbors again.
  22. I would like Rudolph, he got cut because he refused a pay cut so have to let the market on him play out.
  23. I think Rudolph is a better pass catcher than he gets credit for, he's stuck on a run first team. I would think this is the best possible move for us this off-season at TE.
  24. You may be right, and if it was a younger player that would have multiple suitors you would be 100% right. But we are talking about a guy that's a Patriots through and through, his one year away was playing in the same patriot style defense, and he just got cut so his options are probably limited.
  25. Hightower, Chung and them will be back with the Patriots next year, I can easily see Van Noy taking less money to rejoin the gang. Can't blame him.
